Wrestling in the afterlife.... re-embodiment on earth?....

And therefore it is of great importance how earthly life is utilized, for as soon as this is decided a completely different struggle for ascent begins as it was granted to the being on earth. Life on earth continued to give it strength which it could utilize at will, whereas the being's life in the beyond is only blessed with strength when the being has reached a certain degree of maturity, but before that a completely powerless state is the soul's fate until it has reached this degree of maturity. And the latter is unspeakably difficult and would also be completely impossible if God's grace did not still come to meet it in the form of rays of light which bring it moments of realization in order to awaken the being's desire for light. Again, God only seeks to change the being's will in order to then also give it the opportunity to carry out its will. However, the conditions in the beyond are much more difficult to fulfil. A powerless being is also so weak-willed that it requires greatest effort and patience on the part of the beings of light to determine the being to let its will become active itself. But a being in the stage of darkness will never long to return to earth in order to make up for its misguided way of life on earth, i.e. to put it back in accordance with its actual task on earth. For only this will would earn the soul another stay on earth. But the immature soul's will only applies to material earthly life but never to spiritual higher development, for once it has become active in it then it also knows that only serving in love promotes its higher development, and it truly has enough opportunity for this in the beyond. For a tremendous amount of work has to be done if the souls are to be given light in the form of knowledge. It is the activity in the beyond which people on earth cannot comprehend and yet which is unspeakably important.... What was neglected on earth has to be made up for in the beyond, and just as spiritual help for fellow human beings on earth is an act of love, so the beings' activity in the beyond is also an uninterrupted labour of love.... a constant distribution of what the souls lack.... a distribution of light and knowledge to the souls who dwell in darkness. This activity requires free will just as on earth. The being must be willing to be of service, then it will progress in its development. Once it has overcome the lack of will it will work diligently on itself. It will certainly also remember the unused time on earth in deep remorse but now sees a sphere of activity in front of it which requires all its willingness to help.... The soul now thinks more of the suffering souls around it than of its own state, and only now does it fulfil its task with devotion, and its own state becomes ever more light-filled because it now receives light and strength in order to pass it on. However, once it has become a recipient of light and strength it will never want to return to earth unless a task is to be carried out on earth which requires the embodiment of a being of light on earth.... It must always be taken into consideration that in the state of darkness the soul also lacks realization, since it has neglected its spiritual development on earth.... But if it recognizes this, it will also see the possibilities in the beyond which will ensure its ascent. However, a renewed embodiment on earth would only be granted to the soul if it would desire it in full awareness of its immature state and for the purpose of maturing the soul.... thus if free will would urge it to live on earth again in order to attain a higher state of maturity. But this already presupposes a certain knowledge and therefore also a certain degree of maturity, i.e. the ability to love, which then impels the soul to participate in the work of redemption in the beyond, because it recognizes that every strength is also needed for this and that it now willingly places its love at the service of this work of redemption....

Ringen im Jenseits.... Nochmalige Verkörperung auf Erden?....

Und es ist deshalb von großer Bedeutung, wie das Erdenleben genützt wird, denn sowie dieses beschlossen ist, setzt ein völlig anderes Ringen um den Aufstieg zur Höhe ein, wie es auf Erden dem Wesen beschieden war. Das Erdenleben trug ihm fortgesetzt Kraft ein, die es nach Belieben nützen konnte, während das Leben des Wesens im Jenseits dann erst mit Kraft gesegnet ist, wenn das Wesen in einem bestimmten Reifegrad ist, zuvor aber ein völlig kraftloser Zustand das Los der Seelen ist, bis sie diesen Reifegrad erreicht haben. Und es ist letzteres unsagbar schwer und wäre auch ganz unmöglich, wenn Gottes Gnade ihm nicht auch dann noch entgegenkäme in Form von Lichtstrahlungen, die ihm Momente des Erkennens bringen, um das Verlangen nach Licht in dem Wesen zu erwecken. Wieder sucht Gott nur den Willen des Wesens zu wandeln, um ihm dann auch die Möglichkeit zu geben, den Willen auszuführen. Nur sind die Bedingungen im Jenseits um vieles schwerer zu erfüllen. Ein kraftloses Wesen ist auch so willensschwach, daß es größter Anstrengung und Geduld von seiten der Lichtwesen erfordert, das Wesen zu bestimmen, selbst seinen Willen tätig werden zu lassen. Niemals aber wird ein Wesen im Stadium der Dunkelheit nach der Erde zurückverlangen, um seinen verfehlten Lebenswandel auf Erden gutzumachen, d.h., ihn zurückzulegen gemäß seiner eigentlichen Erdenaufgabe. Denn nur dieser Wille würde der Seele einen nochmaligen Aufenthalt auf Erden eintragen. Der Wille der unreifen Seele gilt aber nur dem materiellen Erdenleben, niemals aber der geistigen Höherentwicklung, denn ist dieser erst einmal rege geworden in ihr, dann weiß sie auch, daß nur das Dienen in Liebe ihre Höherentwicklung fördert, und dazu hat sie im Jenseits wahrlich Gelegenheit genug. Denn es ist eine ungeheure Arbeit zu leisten, soll den Seelen Licht zugeführt werden in Form von Wissen. Es ist die Tätigkeit im Jenseits, welche die Menschen auf Erden nicht begreifen können und die doch unsagbar wichtig ist.... Was auf Erden versäumt wurde, muß im Jenseits nachgeholt werden, und wie auf Erden die geistige Hilfe am Mitmenschen ein Akt der Liebe ist, so ist auch die Tätigkeit der Wesen im Jenseits ein ununterbrochenes Liebeswirken.... ein ständiges Austeilen dessen, was den Seelen mangelt.... ein Austeilen von Licht und Wissen an die Seelen, die in der Finsternis weilen. Diese Tätigkeit erfordert den freien Willen genau wie auf Erden. Es muß das Wesen bereit sein, sich dienend zu betätigen, dann schreitet es in seiner Entwicklung vorwärts. Hat es einmal die Willenlosigkeit überwunden, dann arbeitet es emsig an sich selbst. Es wird wohl auch der ungenützten Zeit auf Erden in tiefer Reue gedenken, sieht aber nun einen Wirkungskreis vor sich, der seine ganze Hilfswilligkeit erfordert.... Es denkt die Seele nun mehr an die leidenden Seelen um sich als an ihren eigenen Zustand, und nun erst erfüllt sie ihre Aufgabe mit Hingabe, und es wird ihr eigener Zustand immer lichtvoller, weil sie nun Licht und Kraft empfängt, um es weiterzuleiten. Ist sie aber einmal Licht- und Kraftempfänger geworden, dann verlangt sie nimmermehr nach der Erde zurück, es sei denn, es soll eine Aufgabe auf Erden ausgeführt werden, die die Verkörperung eines Lichtwesens auf Erden bedingt.... Es muß immer in Betracht gezogen werden, daß im Zustand der Dunkelheit der Seele auch die Erkenntnis mangelt, da sie ihre geistige Entwicklung vernachlässigt hat auf Erden.... Erkennt sie dies aber, dann sieht sie auch die Möglichkeiten im Jenseits, die ihr den Aufstieg sichern. Eine nochmalige Verkörperung auf Erden würde der Seele aber nur dann gewährt werden, wenn sie diese begehren würde in vollem Bewußtsein ihres unreifen Zustandes und zum Zwecke eines Ausreifens der Seele.... wenn also der freie Wille sie zu einem nochmaligen Erdenlebenswandel drängen würde, um einen erhöhten Reifezustand zu erlangen. Es setzt aber dies schon ein bestimmtes Wissen voraus und also auch einen bestimmten Reifegrad, d.h. Liebefähigkeit, die dann die Seele antreibt, sich an dem Erlösungswerk im Jenseits zu beteiligen, weil sie erkennt, daß auch dazu jede Kraft benötigt wird und sie nun ihre Liebe bereitwillig in den Dienst dieses Erlösungswerkes stellt....
