Only love redeems, and only the teaching that preaches love can be addressed as a christian teaching, i.e. as the teaching of love of Christ, the divine saviour. christianity is therefore the effect of a teaching on people.... i.e. all people who truly live according to the teaching of love are followers of this teaching, i.e. representatives of true christianity. A person can also call himself christian if he knows nothing of Jesus Christ and yet lives his life in a truly christian manner, in the most eager observance of the commandment to love God and man. Conversely, however, christian thinking can be denied to anyone who does not make the divine commandments of love the principle of his way of life. And at present the world, i.e. humanity, can hardly be called christian, because love has become alien to it, and even the outward confession of Christ is often not decisive for christian thinking if the person is not at the same time active in love. The christian doctrine of love can also be followed by people who still have a negative attitude towards the act of salvation, however, they will not remain in their opinion for long, for where love is at work recognition is no longer far.... and the human being first realizes that he can never reject Jesus Christ; and only then does he consciously live christianity.... He does what Jesus demanded of people in His time.... he lives in love and is therefore a follower of Jesus. But the current lack of love is the reason that humanity is moving further and further away from God, thus also from the divine redeemer, that christianity is therefore in danger of disappearing from the world because people do nothing to free themselves from their lack of love, and thus they will also deny Jesus Christ as redeemer of the world, for those who do not practice love themselves do not acknowledge the one Who was pure love in Himself.... 기독교의 교리는 사랑의 교리이다. 예수님의 신성을 깨닫는 일.

단지 사랑만이 구원하고, 사랑을 전하는 교리만이 기독교 교리가 될 수 있다. 다시 말해 하나님의 구세주인 그리스도의 사랑의 가르침으로 언급될 수 있다. 그러므로 기독교는 사람들에게 준 한 가르침의 결과이다. 사랑의 교리에 실제로 합당하게 사는 모든 사람은, 즉 가르침을 따르는 사람들은 이런 가르침의 추종자들이고, 올바른 기독교의 대표자들이다. 또한 예수 그리스도에 대해 아무것도 모르면서도, 하나님과 사람을 사랑하라는 계명을 가장 열심히 따르면서 진정한 기독교 적인 방식으로 그의 삶을 사는 사람은 기독교적이라고 부를 수 있다.

그러나 반면에 하나님의 사랑의 계명을 자신의 삶의 방식의 원칙으로 삼지 않는 모든 사람은 기독교 적인 생각을 거부할 수 있다. 현재의 세상은, 즉 인류는 아주 적게 기독교적이라고 할 수 있다. 왜냐면 그들이 사랑을 알지 못하게 되었기 때문이다. 그리스도를 향한 외적인 고백조차도, 인간이 동시에 사랑을 행하지 않는다면, 자주 기독교 적인 사고방식에 결정적인 역활을 하지 못한다. 그리스도의 사랑의 가르침은 구속사역에 대해 아직 부정적인 태도를 가진 사람들도 따를 수 있다. 그러나 그들은 오랫동안 그들의 견해를 유지하지 않게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 사랑이 역사하는 곳은 더 이상 깨달음으로부터 멀지 않기 때문이다. 사람은 가장 먼저 예수 그리스도를 절대로 거절할 수 없음을 깨닫는다. 그러면 그는 비로소 의식적으로 기독교의 삶을 살아간다.

그는 예수가 당대의 사람들에게 요청한 일을 행한다. 그는 사랑의 삶을 살고, 따라서 예수님을 따른다. 그러나 현재의 사랑의 부족이 인류가 항상 하나님으로부터 더욱 멀어지고, 따라서 하나님의 구세주로부터 멀어지고 있는 이유이다. 다시 말해 사람들이 그들의 사랑없음으로부터 자유롭게 되기 위해 아무 일도 하지 않기 때문에 기독교가 세상에서 사라질 위험에 처해 있다. 그러므로 그들은 또한 예수 그리스도가 세상의 구세주임을 부인하게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 스스로 사랑을 행하지 않는 사람들은 또한 자신이 순수한 사랑인 분을 깨닫지 못하기 때문이다.
