Divine spiritual activity requires undoubted faith, because divine spiritual activity is the influx of power from God, which understandably can never be granted to a person who is not a full believer. What the spirit from God imparts to man is often incomprehensible to the human mind. Faith, however, affirms everything, even if the intellect cannot grasp it. But if God makes Himself known through the spirit, then He also wants what He gives to be accepted in faith, for His gift is too precious to be given to those who are weak in faith and would therefore doubt the divine truth. To the believer nothing seems impossible, nothing incomprehensible and nothing impracticable, consequently he accepts every teaching without doubting its truthfulness. Unbelief, however, sets limits; he who stands in unbelief will always raise objections because he does not know the working of the spirit in man, because he knows nothing and because he judges according to his worldly understanding. For the unbeliever will never be able to receive the truth directly, but it must be conveyed to him. Consequently, because he cannot believe, he will reject the communication of the one who allows the spirit from God to work in him, for he is not yet capable of receiving divine truth. Faith must be strong, only then will the human being become such that he submits himself to God in deepest humility. He must believe in God, only then will he endeavour to live in a way that pleases Him. In order to fulfil the will of a power, the power must first be acknowledged, and this is faith.... The human being is inclined to contradict, and he will continue to contradict until the spark of the spirit awakens in him, and then it will enlighten him, and truly in the same way, for the spirit from God cannot proclaim anything other than truth....

(18.11.1941) The believing person recognizes the truth as such, but the unbeliever is convinced that he is being offered untruth and he rejects it. But he also does not have the desire for the truth, otherwise the will to reject would not be so great in him, for the ability to believe is only the consequence of the will to believe. If the human being wants to come to knowledge and finds it difficult to believe, God's love constantly endeavours to help him because his will is decisive. He is mentally instructed, and mentally many wisdoms are brought to him, which he examines again and again, and his will to reject becomes weaker and weaker. This is also an activity of the spirit, only in a different form than the direct communication of wisdom from God, which presupposes full faith. Yet the will for truth is already an affirmation of the eternal deity, thus an unconscious faith, and God increases and strengthens this as soon as the human being is serious about it. If the direct expressions of the spirit are now made accessible to that person he will not immediately affirm them but they will give him cause for reflection. And he will recognize that what is offered to him does not deviate from his thoughts, he will recognize the harmony of what he received mentally and what is now conveyed to him. And thus he learns to believe because he wanted to believe, for he himself unconsciously strives towards God. And God does not let him strive in vain, God lets Himself be found when He is sought and comes to meet him Himself in the form of truth, which he will now recognize as such. The strength from God constantly flows to people and the spirit of God constantly works in those people who shape themselves accordingly so that He can work in them, for God wants to spread the truth, He wants to snatch people from spiritual darkness, and where the spirit of God is at work there is light and brightness....

O trabalho divino do Espírito requer uma fé inquestionável....

O funcionamento divino do espírito requer uma fé inquestionável, porque o funcionamento divino do espírito é o influxo do poder de Deus, que, compreensivelmente, nunca pode ser concedido a um ser humano que não seja um crente pleno. O que o espírito de Deus transmite ao ser humano muitas vezes não é compreensível para o intelecto humano. A fé, porém, afirma tudo, mesmo que o intelecto não o consiga captar. Mas se Deus se faz conhecido através do espírito, então Ele também quer que o que Ele dá seja aceito na fé, pois o Seu dom é requintado demais para ser dado àqueles que são fracos na fé e, portanto, duvidam da verdade divina. Para a pessoa crente nada parece impossível, nada incompreensível e nada impraticável, consequentemente ele aceita cada ensinamento sem duvidar da sua veracidade. A incredulidade, porém, estabelece limites; qualquer incrédulo levantará sempre objecções, porque não conhece o funcionamento do espírito no ser humano, porque nada sabe e porque depois julga de acordo com a sua compreensão mundana. Pois o descrente nunca poderá receber a verdade diretamente, mas ela tem que ser transmitida a ele. Conseqüentemente, porque não pode acreditar que rejeitará a comunicação daquele que deixa o espírito de Deus trabalhar nele, pois ainda não é capaz de receber a verdade divina. A fé deve ser forte, só então o ser humano se tornará para que se submeta a Deus com a mais profunda humildade. Ele deve acreditar em Deus, só então ele se esforçará para viver como Lhe apraz. Para cumprir a vontade de um poder, o poder deve primeiro ser reconhecido, e isto é fé..... A inclinação para contradizer está dentro do ser humano, e ele continuará a contradizer até que a centelha espiritual desperte dentro de si, e então o informará, e verdadeiramente da mesma forma, pois o espírito de Deus não pode proclamar nada além da verdade....

(18.11.1941) A pessoa crente reconhece a verdade como tal, mas o descrente está convencido de que lhe estão a oferecer uma inverdade, e rejeita-a. Mas ele também não tem o desejo de verdade, senão a vontade de rejeitar não seria tão grande nele, porque ser capaz de acreditar é apenas a consequência de querer acreditar. Se o ser humano quer se realizar e tem dificuldade de acreditar, o amor de Deus luta constantemente por ele, pois sua vontade é decisiva. Ele é mentalmente instruído, e mentalmente são-lhe trazidas muitas sabedorias que ele examina uma e outra vez, e a sua vontade de rejeitar torna-se cada vez mais fraca. Esta é também uma atividade do espírito, apenas de uma forma diferente da transmissão direta da sabedoria de Deus, que pressupõe a fé plena. Mas a vontade da verdade já é uma afirmação da Deidade eterna, portanto uma fé inconsciente, e Deus aumenta e fortalece isso assim que o ser humano é sério a respeito dela. Se as expressões diretas do espírito forem levadas ao conhecimento da pessoa, ela não as afirmará imediatamente, mas serão motivo para que ela pense. E reconhecerá que o que lhe é oferecido não se afasta dos seus pensamentos, reconhecerá a consonância do que pensou e do que lhe é agora transmitido. E assim ele aprende a acreditar porque queria acreditar, pois inconscientemente ele próprio se esforça para Deus. E Deus não o deixa lutar em vão, Deus se deixa encontrar quando é procurado e vem ao seu encontro na forma da verdade, que agora reconhecerá como tal. A força de Deus flui constantemente para as pessoas e o espírito de Deus trabalha constantemente naquelas pessoas que se moldam de acordo para que Ele possa trabalhar nelas, pois Deus quer espalhar a verdade, Ele quer tirar as pessoas das trevas espirituais, e onde o espírito de Deus trabalha há luz e brilho...._>Amém
