Divine spiritual activity requires undoubted faith, because divine spiritual activity is the influx of power from God, which understandably can never be granted to a person who is not a full believer. What the spirit from God imparts to man is often incomprehensible to the human mind. Faith, however, affirms everything, even if the intellect cannot grasp it. But if God makes Himself known through the spirit, then He also wants what He gives to be accepted in faith, for His gift is too precious to be given to those who are weak in faith and would therefore doubt the divine truth. To the believer nothing seems impossible, nothing incomprehensible and nothing impracticable, consequently he accepts every teaching without doubting its truthfulness. Unbelief, however, sets limits; he who stands in unbelief will always raise objections because he does not know the working of the spirit in man, because he knows nothing and because he judges according to his worldly understanding. For the unbeliever will never be able to receive the truth directly, but it must be conveyed to him. Consequently, because he cannot believe, he will reject the communication of the one who allows the spirit from God to work in him, for he is not yet capable of receiving divine truth. Faith must be strong, only then will the human being become such that he submits himself to God in deepest humility. He must believe in God, only then will he endeavour to live in a way that pleases Him. In order to fulfil the will of a power, the power must first be acknowledged, and this is faith.... The human being is inclined to contradict, and he will continue to contradict until the spark of the spirit awakens in him, and then it will enlighten him, and truly in the same way, for the spirit from God cannot proclaim anything other than truth....

(18.11.1941) The believing person recognizes the truth as such, but the unbeliever is convinced that he is being offered untruth and he rejects it. But he also does not have the desire for the truth, otherwise the will to reject would not be so great in him, for the ability to believe is only the consequence of the will to believe. If the human being wants to come to knowledge and finds it difficult to believe, God's love constantly endeavours to help him because his will is decisive. He is mentally instructed, and mentally many wisdoms are brought to him, which he examines again and again, and his will to reject becomes weaker and weaker. This is also an activity of the spirit, only in a different form than the direct communication of wisdom from God, which presupposes full faith. Yet the will for truth is already an affirmation of the eternal deity, thus an unconscious faith, and God increases and strengthens this as soon as the human being is serious about it. If the direct expressions of the spirit are now made accessible to that person he will not immediately affirm them but they will give him cause for reflection. And he will recognize that what is offered to him does not deviate from his thoughts, he will recognize the harmony of what he received mentally and what is now conveyed to him. And thus he learns to believe because he wanted to believe, for he himself unconsciously strives towards God. And God does not let him strive in vain, God lets Himself be found when He is sought and comes to meet him Himself in the form of truth, which he will now recognize as such. The strength from God constantly flows to people and the spirit of God constantly works in those people who shape themselves accordingly so that He can work in them, for God wants to spread the truth, He wants to snatch people from spiritual darkness, and where the spirit of God is at work there is light and brightness....

La obra espiritual divina requiere una fe indudable, porque la obra espiritual es el aflujo de la fuerza de Dios, que comprensiblemente nunca puede darse a un ser humano que no sea un creyente pleno. Lo que el Espíritu de Dios transmite al humano a menudo suele ser incomprensible para la mente humana. Sin embargo, la fe lo afirma todo, aunque la mente no lo comprenda. Pero si Dios se da a conocer a través del Espíritu, entonces también quiere lo que da sea aceptado en la fe, porque su don es demasiado precioso para ser entregado a aquellos que son débiles en la fe, es decir, que dudan de la verdad divina.

Al creyente nada le parece imposible, nada incomprensible y nada impracticable, por eso acepta cada enseñanza sin dudar de su veracidad. Pero la incredulidad pone límites; Cualquiera que permanezca en la incredulidad siempre pondrá objeciones porque no conoce la obra del espíritu en el ser humano, porque no sabe nada y porque ahora juzga según su entendimiento mundano. Porque el incrédulo nunca podrá recibir la verdad directamente, sino que tendrá que serle transmitida. En consecuencia, como no puede creer, rechazará la comunicación de aquel que permite que el Espíritu de Dios obre en él, porque aún no es capaz de recibir la verdad divina.

La fe debe ser fuerte, sólo así el hombre llegará a ser tal que se somete a Dios en la más profunda humildad. Debe creer en Dios, sólo así se esforzará por vivir como Él quiere. Para cumplir la voluntad de un poder, primero hay que reconocer el poder, y esto es la fe.... El hombre tiene tendencia a contradecir, y contradecirá hasta que la chispa espiritual despierte dentro de él, y ahora le provee información, y verdaderamente de la misma manera, porque el Espíritu de Dios no puede anunciar otra cosa que la verdad....

(18/11/1941) El ser humano creyente reconoce la verdad como tal, pero el incrédulo está convencido de que se le ofrece mentira y la rechaza. Pero tampoco tiene deseo de la verdad, de lo contrario su voluntad de rechazarla no sería tan grande, porque poder creer es sólo la consecuencia de querer creer. Si un ser humano quiere llegar al conocimiento y le resulta difícil creer, el amor de Dios se preocupa constantemente por él, porque su voluntad es decisiva.

Mentalmente es instruido y mentalmente se le presenta mucha sabiduría, que él prueba una y otra vez, y su voluntad de rechazar se vuelve cada vez más débil. Esto también es obra del espíritu, sólo que en una forma diferente a la transmisión directa de la sabiduría de Dios, que requiere fe plena. Pero la voluntad de verdad es ya una afirmación de la Deidad Eterna, es decir, una creencia inconsciente, y Dios la aumenta y la fortalece tan pronto como el humano se lo toma en serio.

Si ahora se le acercan a este humano las expresiones directas del espíritu, no responderá inmediatamente afirmativamente, pero le darán motivos para pensar. Y reconocerá que lo que se le ofrece no se desvía de sus pensamientos; reconocerá la armonía de lo que había en su mente y lo que ahora se le transmite. Y así aprende a creer porque quería creer, porque inconscientemente se esfuerza hacia Dios. Y Dios no le deja esforzarse en vano, Dios se deja encontrar cuando es buscado y sale a su encuentro Él Mismo en forma de la verdad, que ahora el humano la reconocerá como tal.

La fuerza de Dios fluye constantemente hacia los seres humanos y el Espíritu de Dios obra constantemente en aquellos humanos que se forman de tal manera para que Él pueda obrar en ellos, porque Dios quiere difundir la verdad, quiere arrebatar a los humanos de las tinieblas espirituales, y donde el Espíritu de Dios obra, allí hay luz y brillo....
