Collecting intellectual property....

Blessed is the man who has found God. His life on earth has not been lived in vain. The world cannot offer him what God Himself gives him, for the world only hands out earthly goods, and these are transient. God, however, gives spiritual treasures, and these retain their value for eternity. And what a person has once received in spiritual goods he can never lose, nor can it be taken from him, it will not diminish even if he gives it away. And thus God rewards people for their devotion to Him, He bestows divine gifts upon them, He makes them unimaginably happy, for even if the body feels little of it, the soul, however, finds every gift of strength in the form of knowledge extremely beneficial and grateful, and it remains in constant contact with God because it no longer wants to miss the blissful state. And this is a state of freedom and security in the lord that no worldly pleasures can outweigh. And yet this precious good is only rarely sought after, and it is not recognized as such; and even if it is offered to people, they do not know how to appreciate it. They pass it by carelessly, and therefore they cannot be fed with the bread of heaven, which only those who desire it ardently can receive. And even if they do not harm themselves with the pleasures of the world, their life is to be valued very low and the end will be the bitterest poverty of spiritual treasures. For man can only take spiritual goods into eternity, he must leave earthly goods behind. And that is why man should first collect the goods which he can take over with him, and he should think of his soul, which must live in want when its spiritual goods have been withheld. Spiritual possessions, however, can only be gained once the human being has learnt to recognize and love God, for then he will only strive for union with Him and he will be granted something delectable.... he receives love from God, which expresses itself in the gift of knowledge.... He now already lives in the spiritual kingdom although he still dwells on earth. But his soul continuously draws from the divine source of grace.... and richly enriched he will then enter the eternal kingdom....

Raccogliere Beni spirituali

E’ beato l’uomo che ha trovato Dio. La sua vita terrena non è stata vissuta invano. Il mondo non gli può offrire ciò che gli dà Dio Stesso, perché il mondo distribuisce solo beni terreni, e questi sono perituri. Ma Dio dà Tesori spirituali e questi conservano il loro valore per l’Eternità. E quello che l’uomo ha una volta accolto come Bene spirituale, non lo può mai più perdere, non gli può nemmeno essere tolto, non diventa meno, benché ne dia ad altri. E quindi Dio ricompensa gli uomini per la loro dedizione a Lui, li provvede con Doni divini, li rende inimmaginabilmente felici, perché anche se il corpo ne sente poco, l’anima però percepisce oltremodo benefico ogni apporto di Forza in forma di sapere e ne è grata, ed ora rimane in costante collegamento con Dio, perché non vuole più fare a meno di questo stato felice. E questa è una condizione di libertà e Protezione nel Signore, che gioie terrene non possono soppesare. E malgrado ciò si aspira solo poco a questo Bene e non viene riconosciuto come tale; ed anche se viene offerta agli uomini, non lo sanno apprezzare. Vi passano oltre indifferenti, e perciò lo possono ricevere solo coloro che lo desiderano intimamente. Ed anche se approfittano delle gioie del mondo, la loro vita è da valutare molto bassa, e la fine sarà la più amara povertà in tesori spirituali. Perché l’uomo può portare con sé nell’Eternità solo il Bene spirituale, deve lasciare indietro il bene terreno. E perciò l’uomo deve dapprima raccogliere i Beni che può portare con sé e pensare alla sua anima che deve languire se le viene fatto mancare il Bene spirituale. Ma questo può esser conquistato solo quando l’uomo ha imparato a riconoscere e ad amare Dio, perché allora aspira soltanto all’unificazione con Lui ed avrà parte della Cosa più preziosa, riceve l’Amore da Dio, che Si manifesta nell’apporto di sapere. Ora vive già nel Regno spirituale, anche se dimora ancora sulla Terra. Ma la sua anima attinge ininterrottamente dalla divina Fonte di Grazia ed allora, entrerà poi nell’eterno Regno riccamente provveduto.
