Right prayer.... fulfilment.... "Father, Thy will be done...."

The greatest power lies in the conscious call to God. Everything can be achieved by a person whose attitude towards God is such that he enters into contact with Him when he is in earthly or spiritual adversity, for he can be relieved of all worry. Another, Whose power is the greatest, now cares for him. God has provided His children with a bridge to Him, prayer. Whoever uses this bridge always and constantly has the opportunity to present his worries and troubles to Him; and to be able to present worries to God also means to become free of them, for God relieves every person of suffering, the more willingly the more trustingly it is presented to Him. Once man has freed himself from the feeling of unbridgeable distance from God, once he feels like His creature, once he recognizes that he belongs to God, then his prayer is also right, for he will now speak to his creator, his father from eternity, like a child and come to Him confidentially in all his needs. Man is powerless.... whatever he begins, it can only be completed as desired if God gives His consent. So if man wants to become master of his worries and suffering by his own efforts and disregard divine help, his endeavours and striving will be unsuccessful if God does not give His approval. After all, all success is dependent on God, and understandably God will help the person who comes to Him directly and asks for His help. The right prayer testifies to the right filial relationship that God wants to be established, and then the father's love comes into action and He fulfils every request of the person.... The relationship with God should be free of any outward appearance, as well as free of exaggerated submissiveness, which is expressed in posture and gestures. The relationship between child and father should be an intimate one, childlike and submissive in obedience, but intimate love should bind the child to the father. Such an intimate relationship must also bring the child fulfilment of every request, for God is love, and love denies His child nothing that brings him joy. The child will also be allowed to make earthly requests as long as it has recognized that the father's love considers the child in a way that is beneficial to it.... This realization has the consequence that the fulfilment of every request is left to the father, that the child prays "Father, Thy will be done" and that he now trustingly abandons himself to the father's love and humbly receives from His hand what is intended for him. Faith and trust in His goodness and wisdom should form the basis of every prayer, then the earthly child leaves the fulfilment of its requests to the heavenly father, and then the prayer is as it is pleasing to Him and He will answer it....

PRAVILNA MOLITEV.... UALIŠANJE.... »OČE NAJ SE ZGODI TVOJA VOLJA....«

Največja sila počiva v zavestnem klicanju Boga. Človek, čigar stališče do Boga je takšno, da vstopa v stik z Njim, lahko doseže vse, ko se nahaja v svetovni ali pa duhovni težavi, ker je lahko razrešen vsakršne skrbi. Tedaj nekdo drugi skrbi zanj, Tisti, Čigar moč je največja. Bog je svojim otrokom omogočil most do Sebe, molitev. Tisti, ki uporablja ta most, ima vedno in nenehno možnost, da Mu preda svoje skrbi in težave. Imeti možnost, da Bogu predaš skrbi, pa obenem tudi pomeni, da se jih tudi rešiš; namreč Bog prevzema težavo vsakega človeka (1 Peter 5:7), še toliko raje, s kolikor več zaupanja Mu je ona predana.

Ko se človek enkrat osvobodi občutka nepremostljive oddaljenosti od Boga, se počuti kot njegova stvaritev in tako spoznava svojo pripadnost Bogu. Tako pa je potem tudi njegova molitev pravilna, ker se bo potem kot otrok pogovarjal s svojim Stvarnikom, svojim Očetom Večnosti in bo pristopil k Njemu s pristno molitvijo v vseh svojih težavah.

Človek je nemočen (šibak).... in karkoli začne, lahko dokonča, kakor on želi samo takrat, ko Bog to odobti. Če torej človek želi s svojo lastno močjo zagospodariti nad skrbmi in problemi in ga Božja pomoč ne zanima, če Bog ne da Njegove soglasnosti, bodo njegov trud in njegova prizadevanja brezuspešni.

Celoten uspeh je namreč odvisen od Boga, pri čemer je razumljivo to, da bo Bog pomagal človeku, ki neposredno pristopi k Njemu in (iz)moli Njegovo pomoč. Pravilna molitev je znak pravilnega odnosa, katerega Bog želi vzpostaviti; tedaj začne delovati Očetova Ljubezen, Kateri človeku izpolni vsako prošnjo....

Občevanje z Bogom mora biti brez vsakršne zunanjosti, kakor mora biti ravno tako brez pretirane ponižnosti, ki se lahko izraža v drži in gestah. Odnos otroka do Očeta mora biti pristen, vsekakor otroško zvest in podrejen v poslušnosti; otroka in Očeta mora povezovati iskrena Ljubezen.

Neka takšna (pri)srčna molitev mora otroku obenem tudi prinesti izpolnitev vsakršne prošnje, ker je Bog Ljubezen in Ljubezen svojega otroka ne prikrajša za nič, in to mu daje zadovoljstvo. Otrok lahko izgovori tudi zemeljske prošnje, ko dojame, da bo Očetova Ljubezen oskrbela otroka tako, da bo to koristno zanj.... To spoznanje pa pripelje do tega, da je izpolnitev vsake prošnje prepuščena na voljo Očetu, da otrok moli: »Oče, naj se zgodi Tvoja volja!« in da se potem z veliko zaupanja prepusti Očetovi Ljubezni ter da zvesto sprejme iz Njegove roke to, kar mu je namenjeno (kar mu je dano, kar ga doleti).

Vera in zaupanje v Njegovo dobroto ter Modrost morata biti temelj vsake molitve. Tedaj zemeljski otrok prepušča izpolnitev svojih prošenj nebeškemu Očetu; Njemu je namreč tedaj prijetna ta molitev, katero bo On tudi uslišal.
