Right prayer.... fulfilment.... "Father, Thy will be done...."

The greatest power lies in the conscious call to God. Everything can be achieved by a person whose attitude towards God is such that he enters into contact with Him when he is in earthly or spiritual adversity, for he can be relieved of all worry. Another, Whose power is the greatest, now cares for him. God has provided His children with a bridge to Him, prayer. Whoever uses this bridge always and constantly has the opportunity to present his worries and troubles to Him; and to be able to present worries to God also means to become free of them, for God relieves every person of suffering, the more willingly the more trustingly it is presented to Him. Once man has freed himself from the feeling of unbridgeable distance from God, once he feels like His creature, once he recognizes that he belongs to God, then his prayer is also right, for he will now speak to his creator, his father from eternity, like a child and come to Him confidentially in all his needs. Man is powerless.... whatever he begins, it can only be completed as desired if God gives His consent. So if man wants to become master of his worries and suffering by his own efforts and disregard divine help, his endeavours and striving will be unsuccessful if God does not give His approval. After all, all success is dependent on God, and understandably God will help the person who comes to Him directly and asks for His help. The right prayer testifies to the right filial relationship that God wants to be established, and then the father's love comes into action and He fulfils every request of the person.... The relationship with God should be free of any outward appearance, as well as free of exaggerated submissiveness, which is expressed in posture and gestures. The relationship between child and father should be an intimate one, childlike and submissive in obedience, but intimate love should bind the child to the father. Such an intimate relationship must also bring the child fulfilment of every request, for God is love, and love denies His child nothing that brings him joy. The child will also be allowed to make earthly requests as long as it has recognized that the father's love considers the child in a way that is beneficial to it.... This realization has the consequence that the fulfilment of every request is left to the father, that the child prays "Father, Thy will be done" and that he now trustingly abandons himself to the father's love and humbly receives from His hand what is intended for him. Faith and trust in His goodness and wisdom should form the basis of every prayer, then the earthly child leaves the fulfilment of its requests to the heavenly father, and then the prayer is as it is pleasing to Him and He will answer it....

La giusta preghiera – L’esaudimento – “Padre, la Tua Volontà sia fatta

Nella cosciente invocazione a Dio consiste il Potere più grande. L’uomo può ottenere tutto con Lui, la cui predisposizione d’animo verso Dio è in modo che entri con Lui in contatto, quando si trova in una miseria terrena o spirituale, perché può essere liberato da ogni preoccupazione. Ora provvede Qualcun altro per lui, il Cui Potere è più grande. Dio ha liberato ai Suoi figli un Ponte verso Lui, la preghiera. Chi utilizza questo Ponte, ha sempre e continuamente la possibilità di portarGli le sue preoccupazioni e miserie; e portare a Dio le preoccupazioni significa esserne privato, perché Dio toglie la sofferenza ad ogni uomo che è volonteroso, più Gli viene portata la preoccupazione con fiducia. Se l’uomo si è liberato solamente una volta dal sentimento dell’insuperabile lontananza da Dio, si sente anche la Sua creatura, se riconosce quindi la sua appartenenza a Dio, allora è giusta anche la sua preghiera, perché ora parlerà come un figlio con il suo Creatore, con suo Padre dall’Eternità e verrà a Lui chiedendo in tutte le sue miserie. L’uomo è impotente, qualunque cosa intraprende può essere portato a termine secondo il desiderio soltanto quando Dio da il Suo Assenso. Se quindi l’uomo vuole diventare padrone con la propria forza delle sue preoccupazioni e sofferenze senza l’Aiuto divino, la sua fatica ed il suo tendere sarà comunque senza successo, se Dio non da il Suo Assenso. Ogni riuscita dipende da Dio, e comprensibilmente Dio assisterà l’uomo il quale viene direttamente a Lui e chiede la Sua Assistenza. La giusta preghiera testimonia del giusto rapporto figliale che Dio vuole sapere stabilito, ed allora entra in Azione l’Amore Paterno ed Egli adempie all’uomo ogni preghiera. La frequentazione con Dio deve essere libera da ogni esteriorità, come deve anche essere libero dall’esagerata sottomissione, che si manifesta nel comportamento e nella gesticolazione. Il rapporto del figlio verso il Padre deve essere confidenziale, ben infantile e sottomesso nell’obbedienza, ma l’intimo amore deve unire il figlio con il Padre. Un tale rapporto intimo deve anche procurare al figlio l’esaudimento di ogni richiesta, perché Dio E’ l’Amore, e l’Amore non nega nulla a Suo figlio di ciò che gli crea gioia. Il figlio può anche esprimere delle richieste terrene per quanto venga riconosciuto che l’Amore Paterno dona al figlio com’è adeguato per lui. Questa conoscenza ha per conseguenza che l’ esaudimento di ogni preghiera deve essere affidato al Padre, che il figlio preghi “Padre, la Tua Volontà sia fatta” e che ora si da fiducioso all’Amore Paterno ed accoglie dalla Sua Mano con dedizione ciò che gli è destinato. La fede dev’essere alla base di ogni preghiera e la fiducia nella Sua Bontà e Sapienza, allora il figlio terreno lascia l’esaudimento della sua richiesta al Padre celeste, ed allora la preghiera è così come è compiacente a Lui, ed Egli l’esaudirà.
