The pure in heart.... truth....

Purity of heart is the guarantee that a person is in the truth. He who does evil also thinks evil; but he who endeavours to remain clear and pure for God must also think accordingly. The man who is pure of heart will always abhor everything that is contrary to the divine, he will be able to search in the depths of the heart because no filth prevents him from seeing, and wisdom will likewise rise up to him because it finds no obstacle. And everyone will be pure of heart who lives in and with God, who remains connected to Him, who lives his life consciously, i.e., who recognizes his earthly task, gives himself to God and always endeavours to fulfil His will. He will no longer want to and be able to live without God and every dishonest thought will stay away from him; if he has become weak he will sincerely ask God for forgiveness because his heart recognizes the wrong and does not consciously want to do wrong.... He will endeavour to take the right path and pray to God for strength and grace. Purity of heart must therefore also result in a person's correct thinking, for since the heart is the receptacle of truth from God, as soon as a person endeavours to shape and maintain it in a pure and receptive state, untruth will no longer be tolerated in it, it will be abhorred like all impurities and therefore rejected, because a person who is pure of heart has a desire for truth. And the desire for truth is also fulfilment.... Desire for truth is also desire for God, Who is truth Himself.... Desire for God, however, eliminates the work of the opposing power. Those who are pure of heart recognize the lie, they can therefore also no longer be misled, i.e. out of ignorance accept something as truth which contradicts it.... They will reject it, even if they cannot justify it intellectually. But their heart resists it because, due to its purity, it has a mimosa-like feeling and judgement for the spiritual good that seeks entrance. Unfair thoughts and actions dull the heart's sensitivity, and therefore those who profess the world and its pleasures will not stand in the truth either, for the desire for it also gives rise to thoughts and desires that are not exclusively for God, but for the one whose kingdom is the world.... And these thoughts will not be truthful and pure, they will awaken and favour those instincts which man is supposed to overcome, and thus will only be and remain a danger to the purity of the heart and an obstacle to receiving the pure truth from God.... But those who lack the truth also lack the light, and they do not find the path that leads to God....

ONI KOJI SU ČISTA SRCA.... ISTINA....

Čistoća srca jamac je za to da je čovjek u Istini. Onaj tko čini zlo, taj i misli zlo; no tko se trudi za Boga ostati jasan i čist, njegovo razmišljanje mora biti u skladu s tim. Čovjek koji je čista srca uvijek će se gnušati onoga što je protivno Božanskome, on će moći istraživati u dubini srca budući da (tamo) nema smeća da mu sprječava pogled, a odande će mu se izdizati i mudrost, pošto ne nailazi na prepreke.

Čista srca biti će svatko tko živi u Bogu i sa Bogom, tko sa Njim ostaje povezan, tko svoj život živi svjesno, dakle tko spoznaje svoj zemaljski zadatak, tko se predaje Bogu i uvijek se trudi ispunjavati Njegovu volju. Taj više neće ni htjeti niti moći živjeti bez Boga, i svaka nečista misao biti će mu daleka; takav čovjek će, ako nekada postane slab, Boga iskreno moliti za oprost, pošto njegovo srce prepoznaje nepravdu i ne želi svjesno činiti ono što nije pravo.... On će se truditi ići pravim putem i Boga će moliti za Snagu i Milost.

Prema tome, čistoća srca kao rezultat mora imati to da se čovjek nalazi u ispravnom razmišljanju, jer kako je srce posuda za prijem Istine iz Boga, ako se čovjek trudi oblikovati ga tako da bude i ostane dostojno prijema, neistina se u njemu više ne podnosi, na nju se gnuša kao i na sve nečisto, i stoga je odbija, budući da se čovjek koji je čistog srca nalazi u žudnji za Istinom.

A žudnja za Istinom je isto tako i ispunjenje.... žudnja za Istinom je i žudnja za Bogom, Koji jeste Sama Istina.... a žudnja za Istinom isključuje djelovanje protu-sile. Oni koji su čista srca prepoznaju laž, prema tome oni više niti ne mogu biti zavedeni, tj. iz neznanja prihvatiti kao Istinu nešto što je s Njom u suprotnosti.... oni će to odbijati čak i kad to razumski ne mogu objasniti. No njihovo srce se tome opire, pošto kroz čistoću ima mimoznu (poput mimoze, tj. tako osjetljivu i profinjenu) percepciju i moć razlučivanja duhovnog dobra koje traži ulaz.

Nečiste misli i postupci otupljuju sposobnost percepcije srca, te stoga u Istini neće biti onaj tko se prepušta svijetu i njegovim užicima, jer težnja za tim isto tako rađa misli i žudnje koje nisu usmjerene isključivo na Boga nego na onoga čije područje je svijet....

A te misli neće biti čestite i čiste, one će buditi i podsticati one nagone koje čovjek treba nadvladati, te će tako samo biti i ostati opasnost za čistoću srca kao i prepreka za prijem Čiste Istine iz Boga.... A oni kojima nedostaje Istina, njima nedostaje i svjetlo, i oni ne prolaze put koji vodi do Boga....
