Earthly power and measures.... divine protection.... firm belief....

People attach too much importance to the measures which are taken on earth and do not consider that it depends on God's will that these measures can be carried out. God will certainly take people's free will into account and not always intervene in human determinations which do not correspond to His will, yet it is within His power to undo what people allow to come into being.... However, man himself cannot do anything to secure his fate, even though he obeys everything that is demanded of him by man. However, if he first fulfils God's requirements he need not attach such great importance to earthly regulations, he will then be guided by God in such a way that he will not violate earthly law and earthly authority, or He will know how to protect him from the worst consequences of an unknowing violation. And therefore the human being should not worry about his earthly fate as long as he is willing to be obedient to the supreme lord and ruler, for then He will grant him His protection as it serves him. Conversely, however, all precautionary measures are of no use, for earthly power cannot protect a person against divine decisions, which can destroy every human precaution. In times of need, trusting God is the only security against calamities that approach people from outside....

An apparently secure external life situation does not yet guarantee real protection in times of hardship and tribulation, which God Himself sends upon people. For all people are exposed to such messages from above, no matter how favourably they are fated on earth. And therefore hours will come for every person when his own strength and power will no longer suffice but he will have to seek refuge in prayer.... where neither his fellow human beings can help him nor can he free himself.... where there is only one path that will lead him out of the chaos.... the path to God Himself.... But this path will never be travelled in vain, for God is always ready to help. Consequently, only the person who asks the heavenly father for help in full faith will be entitled to lead an easy life on earth. God fulfils this prayer as long as it arises from a deeply believing heart and the earthly child entrusts his need to God. On the other hand, the person who only recognizes an earthly power but not a being that he has not yet seen will inevitably come into extreme distress.... The earthly power will now fail, and spiritual beings, guardian angels and servants of God will take care of all those who humbly accept everything and only send up a silent plea in the firm belief that they are not sending it up in vain. This firm faith actually brings fulfilment to the person, whereas the plea to earthly power goes unheard; and whether the person is of rank and standing is only an outward appearance but has no deeper meaning. And so the human being need not feel any fear as long as he lives in God, regards himself as His child and endeavours to live in accordance with His will. Nothing will need to frighten him, for in all situations in life the father in heaven will be tangibly present with the person who loves God dearly. Whatever may approach you from the outside, you should neither quarrel nor fear for your fate, God will grant help to all those who only ever have Him before their eyes and in their hearts. People will still be faced with great decisions in order to decide in favour of Him or the representative of earthly power. Earthly power is completely powerless, whereas God's power accomplishes everything and can and will save everyone who believes in it from his distress....

Le pouvoir terrestre et ses dispositions - la Protection divine - la foi solide

Les hommes donnent trop d'importance aux dispositions qui sont émises par le pouvoir terrestre, et ils ne pensent pas qu’il soit contraire à la Volonté de Dieu que ces dispositions puissent être exécutées. Dieu respectera certes la libre volonté de l'homme et n'interviendra pas toujours dans les dispositions humaines qui ne correspondent pas à Sa Volonté, mais il est en Son pouvoir d'anéantir ce que des hommes font se lever. Et l'homme lui-même ne peut rien faire pour s'assurer de son destin, bien qu’il exécute tout ce qui est exigé de lui humainement. Mais s'il exécute d'abord les Exigences de Dieu, il ne doit alors pas attribuer trop de valeur aux dispositions terrestres, alors il sera guidé par Dieu pour qu'il n’enfreigne pas les lois terrestres et le pouvoir terrestre, ou bien Dieu saura le protéger des effets néfastes d'une infraction involontaire. Donc l'homme ne doit pas se préoccuper pour son destin terrestre tant qu’il reste obéissant à son Seigneur et Régent, parce qu'alors Celui-ci lui accordera Sa Protection à la hauteur à laquelle Il est servi. Mais vice versa toutes les règles de prudence ne servent à rien, parce que le pouvoir terrestre ne peut pas protéger l'homme contre les Décisions divines qui peuvent anéantir toutes les précautions humaines. Dans les temps de misère l'unique sécurité contre un malheur qui arrive aux hommes depuis l'extérieur, est de s’en remettre confiants à Dieu. Dans une situation extérieure de vie apparemment sûre il n’y a jamais la garantie pour une vraie protection en un temps de misère et d’affliction que Dieu Lui-Même envoie sur les hommes, parce que ceux-ci sont exposés à de tels Envois d'en haut, même si le destin les pourvoit favorablement du point de vue terrestre. Et donc pour chaque homme viendront des heures où sa force et son pouvoir ne suffiront pas, alors l'homme devra se réfugier dans la prière là où ni les hommes ni lui-même ne peuvent se libérer ni ne peuvent aider, car là il existe seulement une manière d’être tenu hors du chaos, c’est d’implorer Dieu Lui-Même. Et cette voie ne sera jamais parcourue inutilement parce que Dieu est toujours prêt à Aider. Par conséquent il sera permis une vie terrestre facile seulement à l'homme qui demande dans une pleine foi l'Aide au Père céleste. Dieu satisfait sa prière si elle monte d'un cœur profondément croyant et si le fils terrestre dans sa misère se confie à Dieu. Par contre l'homme qui reconnaît seulement un pouvoir terrestre, arrivera inévitablement dans l'oppression la plus extrême, mais pas un être qui ne l'a pas encore reconnu. Maintenant le pouvoir terrestre échouera, et les êtres spirituels, les Anges protecteurs et les domestiques de Dieu, prendront soin de tous ceux qui laissent tout passer sur eux avec résignation et envoient seulement un silencieux appel de demande en haut avec une foi solide, cet appel ne sera pas envoyé en vain. Cette foi solide procurera à l'homme son exaucement, alors que l'appel de demande au pouvoir terrestre restera non entendu ; même si l'homme fait partie des grands ou est honoré, cela est seulement une apparence extérieure qui n’a cependant aucune signification profonde. Et ainsi l'homme ne doit sentir aucune peur tant qu’il vit en Dieu, tant qu’il se considère comme Son fils et s’efforce de vivre selon Sa Volonté. Rien ne devra l'effrayer, parce que dans toutes les situations de la vie, le Père dans le Ciel sera près des hommes qui aiment intimement Dieu. Quoi qu’il puisse vous arriver, vous ne devez ni vous révolter ni craindre pour votre sort, Dieu laisse venir l'Aide à tous ceux qui Le portent toujours seulement devant les yeux et dans le cœur. Les hommes seront encore mis devant de grandes décisions pour se décider pour Lui ou bien pour les représentants du pouvoir terrestre. Ce dernier est totalement sans défense, tandis que la Puissance de Dieu accomplit tout et peut sauver et sauvera de sa misère tous ceux qui croient en Lui.
