Ingenuity.... self-exaltation....

Man's genius is also a certain danger for him, because he sacrifices his inner life to it. The certainty of being on a higher level can often have a pernicious effect, because a person is arrogant and believes himself to be superior to his fellow human beings in every respect in terms of knowledge and power of judgement. However, arrogance is the obstacle to recognizing the truth. Only where humility of heart adorns a person does the truth find entrance, for divine grace flows to them. On the other hand, where the opinion has formed that earthly visible abilities also contribute to recognizing the truth, there is a certain arrogance and therefore also a lack of cognitive power. Anti-religious endeavours promote the abandonment of any belief in what has become common knowledge through tradition. As a result, even that which is of divine origin.... the doctrine of a God of love, omnipotence and wisdom is often given up without hesitation.... And the human being's current attitude is objectively justified in the most convincing way, yet always based on the erroneous view that life ends with bodily death. And therefore the building now erected will lack the foundation walls and therefore not withstand an onslaught of evidence from a deeply believing person.... however, this evidence is just as stubbornly rejected so as not to expose the self-constructed building to the risk of collapse. If the highly developed human mind does not bow in humility to the unfathomable deity, it will only generate erroneous views and strengthen self-conceit with these views, resulting in a regrettable state of mind. Such a person can only be made to recognize his weakness and insignificance through suffering. His intellectual acuity and judgement must be shown to be deficient, as they are no antidote to his own powerlessness when God Himself expresses Himself through the forces of nature. Then every human being becomes small, no matter what talent, what intellectual knowledge he calls his own. In an earthly emergency, which proves his own powerlessness, only the inner relationship, the attitude towards God, is of importance, and this determines his further life on earth and also spiritually. All other qualities of the human being, which can only be assessed in purely earthly terms, will not come into play and every preconceived opinion will waver, for it will not stand up in the face of the catastrophe which surpasses all human imagination and which God sends in order to give precisely those people the opportunity to think right.... to believe in Him........

Genialidad.... Arrogancia....

La genialidad del hombre también es un cierto peligro para él, porque le sacrifica su vida interior. La certeza de estar en un nivel superior a menudo puede tener efectos devastadores, porque el ser humano es arrogante y cree que es superior a sus semejantes en conocimiento y juicio en todos los aspectos. Pero la arrogancia es el obstáculo para reconocer la verdad. La verdad solo encuentra entrada donde la humildad del corazón adorna al ser humano porque la gracia divina fluye hacia él.

Sin embargo, donde se ha formado la opinión de que las capacidades terrenales visibles también juegan un papel en el reconocimiento de la verdad, allí hay una cierta importancia personal reconocible y, por lo tanto, también una falta de poder cognitivo. Las tendencias antirreligiosas promueven el abandono de toda creencia en lo que se ha convertido en propiedad común a través de la tradición. Por eso muchas veces se renuncia sin vacilación a lo que es de origen divino.... la enseñanza en un Dios de amor, omnipotencia y sabiduría....

Y la actitud actual del hombre se justifica objetivamente de la manera más convincente, pero siempre partiendo de la visión errónea de que la muerte termina con la muerte corporal. Y el edificio que ahora se ha erigido, por lo tanto, carecerá de los cimientos y, por lo tanto, no resistirá una avalancha de evidencia de una persona profundamente religiosa.... sin embargo, esta evidencia se rechaza con la misma obstinación para no exponer la estructura autoconstruida al peligro de derrumbarse.

Si la mente humana altamente desarrollada no se inclina humildemente ante la Deidad insondable, sólo creará nociones erróneas y con estas nociones fortalecerá la arrogancia, y el resultado será un estado mental deplorable. A tal persona sólo se le puede hacer reconocer su debilidad e insignificancia a través del sufrimiento. Se le debe mostrar que la agudeza mental y capacidad de juicio son insuficientes, en cuanto estos no son un antídoto para él para que elimine su propia impotencia cuando Dios Mismo Se expresa a través de las fuerzas de la naturaleza.

Entonces cada persona vuelve pequeña, no importa qué talento, qué conocimiento intelectual llame suyo. En una emergencia terrenal, que prueba su propia impotencia, sólo la relación interior, la actitud hacia Dios, es importante, y esto determina su vida futura en la tierra y también espiritualmente. Todas las demás cualidades del ser humano, que sólo han de evaluarse puramente terrenales, no salen a la luz, y toda opinión preconcebida flaqueará, porque no se levanta ante la catástrofe que supera toda imaginación humana, que Dios manda para precisamente dar a esas personas para darles la oportunidad de llegar al pensamiento correcto.... a creer en Él.... amén
