Rarity of the work of the divine spirit in man....

How rarely the spirit of God can express itself in a person is evident from the fact that only a few people completely agree in their views as far as they concern God and His creation, His reign and activity on earth and in the beyond. The spirit from God will always teach people the same, for God only gives purest truth and distributes it where it is desired and the preconditions have been fulfilled which result in the working of the spirit of God in the human being. However, since such an activity is so rarely recognized, the subtle voice within is not respected and the spirit from God cannot express itself either, even though the human being is worthy of receiving divine wisdom through his way of life. His spirit certainly strives towards God but he does not try to establish a direct connection with Him.... He does not desire to hear the divine voice and therefore cannot hear it. And even where its attention is drawn to the obvious working of the spirit in the human being it perceives this as presumption and attributes the divine working to the activity of a power hostile to God. And so the will is not ready, and man cannot be forced. He absolutely has to initiate the contact with God himself, he has to give himself to God and surrender his will to Him, then God Himself will suggest to him the thought of establishing such a connection. He will also mentally instruct him as to what he must do in order to hear the divine voice within himself. Provided the human being surrenders his will to God, he will do everything God wants.... And if God wants to spread the pure truth, He will convey this pure truth to him. Very few people take the direct path to God, but if they wanted to do so, they would clearly know what they should do to please Him. And even if it were something completely foreign to them, they would do it without amazement and without hesitation. But how rarely does an earthly child offer its services to the heavenly father and ask Him for a task on earth and how rarely can they therefore be called upon to do such a task which requires the human being's free will. And because God is so rarely asked to impart the pure truth, He can only give it out so rarely. But where this is the case, the same truth can always be found and the working of the divine spirit can be proven beyond doubt. Having God Himself as a teacher must result in purest truth, and where this truth is not obviously made known to the world it is mentally conveyed to people who love God, serve Him and keep His commandments, and the divine giver has to be recognized through the correspondence of thoughts. And this will result in the fact that this teaching will soon prevail, that it will spread and that divine activity will always and constantly be recognized. But it will also result in people no longer looking for God in the distance but seeking and finding Him within themselves. And if the human being recognizes the working of forces in the beyond and establishes contact with them, it will be possible for the spirit of God to express itself and it will present everything to the listening child in such a way that it will willingly accept it and be prepared to serve God for all eternity....

Raridade do trabalho do espírito divino no homem....

Como raramente o espírito de Deus pode se expressar nas pessoas é evidente pelo fato de que apenas algumas pessoas estão em completa concordância em suas opiniões no que diz respeito a Deus e Sua criação, Seu reinado e atividade na Terra e no além. O espírito de Deus ensinará sempre o mesmo às pessoas, pois Deus só dá a verdade mais pura e a distribui onde ela é desejada e as condições prévias foram cumpridas que resultam no funcionamento do espírito de Deus no ser humano. Mas como tal atividade é tão raramente reconhecida, a voz sutil dentro dela também não é respeitada, e o espírito de Deus também não pode se expressar, ainda que o ser humano seja digno de receber a sabedoria divina através do seu modo de vida. Seu espírito certamente luta para Deus, mas ele não tenta estabelecer uma conexão direta com Ele..... Ele não deseja ouvir a voz divina e, portanto, também não a pode ouvir. E mesmo quando se chama a sua atenção para o trabalho óbvio do espírito no ser humano, ele considera isso como presunção e atribui o trabalho divino à atividade de um poder que se opõe a Deus. E assim a vontade não está pronta, e o homem não pode ser forçado. Ele tem absolutamente que iniciar o contato com o próprio Deus, ele tem que fazer Deus seu e entregar sua vontade a Ele, então o próprio Deus lhe sugerirá a idéia de estabelecer tal conexão. Ele também o instruirá mentalmente sobre o que ele tem que fazer para ouvir a voz divina dentro de si mesmo. Desde que o ser humano entregue a sua vontade a Deus, ele fará tudo o que Deus quiser.... E se Deus quiser espalhar a pura verdade, Ele lhe transmitirá essa pura verdade. Muito poucas pessoas tomam o caminho direto para Deus, mas se quisessem fazê-lo, saberiam claramente o que deveriam fazer para o Seu prazer. E mesmo que fosse algo completamente estranho para eles, eles o fariam sem espanto e sem hesitação. Mas quão raramente uma criança terrena oferece seus serviços ao Pai celestial e lhe pede uma tarefa na Terra, e quão raramente pode ser chamada a fazer tal tarefa que requer o livre arbítrio do ser humano. E porque Deus é tão raramente solicitado a transmitir a pura verdade, Ele também só pode distribuí-la tão pouco. Mas onde for o caso, a mesma verdade pode sempre ser encontrada, e a partir dela o funcionamento do espírito divino pode ser perfeitamente comprovado. Ter o próprio Deus como professor deve resultar na verdade mais pura, e onde esta verdade não é obviamente anunciada ao mundo, ela chega mentalmente às pessoas que amam a Deus, O servem e guardam os Seus mandamentos, e o Doador divino deve ser reconhecido através da concordância de pensamentos. E isso resultará no fato de que esse ensinamento logo se estabelecerá, que se espalhará e a atividade divina será sempre e constantemente reconhecida. Mas também terá como consequência que as pessoas não procurarão mais a Deus ao longe, mas O buscarão e O encontrarão dentro de si mesmas. E se o ser humano conhece o funcionamento das forças do outro mundo e estabelece contato com elas, será possível que o espírito de Deus se expresse, e apresentará tudo à criança ouvinte de tal forma que ela aceitará de bom grado e estará preparada para servir a Deus por toda a eternidade....
