Rarity of the work of the divine spirit in man....

How rarely the spirit of God can express itself in a person is evident from the fact that only a few people completely agree in their views as far as they concern God and His creation, His reign and activity on earth and in the beyond. The spirit from God will always teach people the same, for God only gives purest truth and distributes it where it is desired and the preconditions have been fulfilled which result in the working of the spirit of God in the human being. However, since such an activity is so rarely recognized, the subtle voice within is not respected and the spirit from God cannot express itself either, even though the human being is worthy of receiving divine wisdom through his way of life. His spirit certainly strives towards God but he does not try to establish a direct connection with Him.... He does not desire to hear the divine voice and therefore cannot hear it. And even where its attention is drawn to the obvious working of the spirit in the human being it perceives this as presumption and attributes the divine working to the activity of a power hostile to God. And so the will is not ready, and man cannot be forced. He absolutely has to initiate the contact with God himself, he has to give himself to God and surrender his will to Him, then God Himself will suggest to him the thought of establishing such a connection. He will also mentally instruct him as to what he must do in order to hear the divine voice within himself. Provided the human being surrenders his will to God, he will do everything God wants.... And if God wants to spread the pure truth, He will convey this pure truth to him. Very few people take the direct path to God, but if they wanted to do so, they would clearly know what they should do to please Him. And even if it were something completely foreign to them, they would do it without amazement and without hesitation. But how rarely does an earthly child offer its services to the heavenly father and ask Him for a task on earth and how rarely can they therefore be called upon to do such a task which requires the human being's free will. And because God is so rarely asked to impart the pure truth, He can only give it out so rarely. But where this is the case, the same truth can always be found and the working of the divine spirit can be proven beyond doubt. Having God Himself as a teacher must result in purest truth, and where this truth is not obviously made known to the world it is mentally conveyed to people who love God, serve Him and keep His commandments, and the divine giver has to be recognized through the correspondence of thoughts. And this will result in the fact that this teaching will soon prevail, that it will spread and that divine activity will always and constantly be recognized. But it will also result in people no longer looking for God in the distance but seeking and finding Him within themselves. And if the human being recognizes the working of forces in the beyond and establishes contact with them, it will be possible for the spirit of God to express itself and it will present everything to the listening child in such a way that it will willingly accept it and be prepared to serve God for all eternity....

La rareté de l’action de l’esprit divin dans l’homme

Que l'Esprit de Dieu puisse rarement se manifester dans l'homme résulte du fait que seulement peu d'hommes ont des opinions entièrement en accord avec ce qui concerne Dieu et Sa Création, Son Action et Son Règne sur la Terre et dans l'au-delà. L'Esprit de Dieu enseignera aux hommes toujours la même chose, parce que Dieu donne seulement la très pure Vérité et Il la répand là où elle est désirée et où ont été réalisées les conditions préalables qui ont pour conséquence l’Action de l'Esprit de Dieu dans l'homme. Mais vu qu’une telle Action est très rarement reconnue parce qu’on ne s'occupe pas de la douce Voix en soi, alors l'Esprit de Dieu ne peut pas Se manifester, bien que l'homme soit digne de recevoir les Sagesses divines au travers de son chemin de vie. Son esprit tend vers Dieu, mais il ne cherche pas à établir une liaison directe avec Lui. Il ne désire pas entendre la Voix divine, et donc il ne peut pas la percevoir. Même là où l’Action évidente de l'Esprit dans l'homme se fait remarquer, il la considère avec arrogance et interprète l’Action divine comme l’action d'un pouvoir ennemi de Dieu. Et ainsi la volonté de l’homme n'est pas bien disposée et elle ne peut pas être forcée. Lui-Même doit absolument commencer à approcher Dieu, il doit se donner vers Dieu et Lui donner sa volonté, alors Dieu Lui-Même lui inspire la pensée d’ancrer une telle liaison. Il lui prodiguera même des Instructions mentales sur ce qu’il doit faire pour entendre résonner en lui la Voix divine. Comme l'homme donne sa volonté à Dieu, il fera tout ce que Dieu veut. Et lorsque Dieu veut répandre la pure Vérité, Il lui transmettra cette pure Vérité. Une petite partie des hommes parcourt la voie directe vers Dieu, mais s'ils voulaient le faire, ils sauraient clairement ce qu'ils devraient faire pour Lui être complaisant. Même si c’était quelque chose d’entièrement étranger pour eux, ils le feraient sans indolence et sans retard. Mais combien rarement un fils terrestre offre son service au Père céleste et Le prie de lui donner une tâche sur la Terre et combien rarement ils peuvent être appelés pour une telle tâche qui demande la libre volonté de l'homme ! Et vu qu’à Dieu il est rarement demandé la transmission de la pure Vérité, Il ne peut la prodiguer que rarement. Mais là où cela est le cas, on trouvera toujours la même Vérité, et du fait de cela l’Action de l'Esprit divin peut apparaitre clairement. Avoir Dieu Lui-Même comme Principal doit procurer la très pure Vérité, et là où celle-ci n'est pas communiquée ouvertement au monde, là elle arrive mentalement aux hommes qui aiment Dieu, Le servent et observent Ses Commandements, et du fait de la coïncidence des pensées il doit être reconnu le divin Donateur. Et cela aura pour conséquence que cet Enseignement qui est répandu s'affirmera bientôt, et toujours et continuellement il sera reconnu comme Action divine. Mais il aura aussi pour conséquence que les hommes ne cherchent plus Dieu au loin, mais qu’ils Le cherchent et Le trouvent en eux-mêmes. Et si l'homme reconnaît l’action des Forces de l'au-delà et établit la liaison avec elles, alors pour Dieu il est possible de Se manifester et le fils s’obligera à tout écouter de sorte qu’il l'accepte avec bonne volonté et soit prêt à servir Dieu dans toute l'Éternité.
