Union with God consequence of active love....

Finding inner contact with the divine is always a consequence of love awakened in the human being. It is impossible that a human being can unite with God who has not first manifested the will to affirmatively attune himself to the eternal deity through loving activity. From this it emerges that only through love can a union with God be achieved, that therefore the union with God presupposes having become love. It is also understandable that God, as love itself, will be there where true love becomes active. Thus, in a work of love, the human being senses the presence of eternal love as an increased impulse to love and a blissful awareness of strength. This is hardly perceptible in a purely physical sense, but the soul feels it unconsciously, so to speak, in inner peace and heightened joy of life, which, however, is not directed towards earthly interests. It seeks to explore God and infinity.... Once it has become active in love, it will feel prompted to think about God and the spiritual. For it is the consequence of the heart's love that the eternal love now reveals Itself to the human being and turns his train of thought towards Itself. And the human being feels at ease in the spiritual atmosphere that now surrounds him. He senses the divine where It approaches him, he allows himself to be seized by the strength of divine love, he tries to shape himself such that he is worthy of this divine union, and from then on he remains anxious for the salvation of his soul since he regocnizes that the human being's goal should be union with God. He by no means needs to withdraw from the duties of earthly life, he just has to be careful to prioritize the work on his soul over earthly endeavours, then earthly activity is likewise conducive to the soul's higher development. If he starts and ends everything with God and only ever strives for closeness to God, all earthly activity will be a blessing for him, for he will now consciously serve his fellow human beings through his earthly labour, and he can effortlessly master it if only he always desires the strength from God and constantly practices love. For now he does everything with God, Who is with him in every labour of love. He has detached himself from the realm of darkness and consciously entered the realm of light.... And light always means closeness to God.... His spirit must now also have awakened, thus the light must be synonymous with knowledge, for God is wisdom and love.... If God as love is connected with man through works of love, wisdom must also communicate itself to man in the same measure. A loving earthly being must simultaneously be a knowing being, for if God reveals Himself to the human being through love, He does not exclude wisdom, and the human being who has united with God through love will always stand in knowledge....

União com Deus Consequência do amor activo....

Encontrar o contato interior com o divino é sempre o resultado do despertar do amor no ser humano. É impossível que um ser humano se una a Deus, que não expressou primeiro a vontade de se alinhar afirmativamente com a Deidade eterna por meio da obra do amor. Daí resulta que a união com Deus só pode ser alcançada através do amor, que a união com Deus pressupõe, portanto, ter-se tornado amor. Também é compreensível que Deus, como o próprio amor, esteja lá onde o verdadeiro amor se torna ativo. Assim, em uma obra de amor, o ser humano sente a presença do amor eterno como um impulso acrescido ao amor e uma consciência de força feliz. Isso é dificilmente perceptível num sentido puramente físico, mas a alma o sente inconscientemente, por assim dizer, em paz interior e maior alegria de viver, o que, contudo, não se aplica aos interesses terrenos. Procura explorar Deus e o infinito.... Uma vez que tenha se tornado ativo no amor, se sentirá estimulado a pensar em Deus e no espiritual. Pois é o resultado do amor do coração que o Amor eterno agora se faz conhecer ao ser humano e volta o seu comboio de pensamento para si mesmo. E o ser humano sente-se à vontade na atmosfera espiritual que o rodeia agora. Sente o Divino onde Ele se aproxima, deixa-se levar pela força do amor divino, tenta moldar-se de tal modo que é digno desta união divina e, doravante, permanece preocupado com a salvação da sua alma, pois reconhece que a meta do ser humano é unir-se a Deus. Agora ele não precisa de modo algum se retirar dos deveres da vida terrena, apenas tem de estar atento para colocar o trabalho na sua alma antes do esforço terreno, então a atividade terrena também é propícia ao desenvolvimento mais elevado da alma. Se ele começa e termina tudo com Deus e só luta pela unidade com Deus, toda a atividade terrena será uma bênção para ele, pois então ele servirá conscientemente aos seus semelhantes através do seu trabalho terreno, o que ele pode facilmente realizar se desejar sempre a força de Deus e praticar constantemente o amor. Por agora ele faz tudo com Deus, que está com ele em cada obra de amor. Ele desligou-se do reino das trevas e entrou conscientemente no reino da luz..... E a luz significa sempre proximidade de Deus.... Seu espírito deve agora também ter despertado, portanto a luz deve ser sinônimo de conhecimento, pois Deus é sabedoria e amor.... Se Deus, como amor, está unido ao ser humano através de obras de amor, a sabedoria também deve comunicar-se ao ser humano na mesma medida. Um ser terreno amoroso deve ser ao mesmo tempo um ser conhecedor, pois se Deus se dá a conhecer ao ser humano através do amor Ele não excluirá a sabedoria, e o ser humano que se uniu a Deus através do amor estará sempre em conhecimento....
