Mammon - matter.... wrong direction of will....

It is a great danger and a great injustice that you attach your heart too much to mammon and thus do not detach yourselves from matter but endeavour to increase it. And your thoughts and aspirations will only ever be directed towards the increase of earthly good, and thus you are also not aware of the signs which announce the approaching judgement. You live in a world of desires, of wanting the treasures of this earth, and you forget that these pull you down again towards the banished state. Earthly life was given to you to give you the opportunity to free yourselves from such desires, but you use it to increase yourselves, you allow yourselves to become ever more captivated and do not consider the dreadful consequences. And your thinking is blinded, for you no longer regocnize the root of all evil, you are unable to distinguish between lies and truth, you rejoice in every earthly success and your spiritual state declines. You cannot become light where you yourselves feel comfortable in darkness. For you fight against the light, you close yourselves to the instructions from above, and you rage against yourselves if you do not pay attention to God's voice which would like to inform you of your wrong direction of will. You only accept that which corresponds to your love, and since your love is for the world and its possessions you take offence at the fact that these are labelled as evil. And you reject the word of God, which is supposed to be your salvation from greatest adversity, you only pay attention to earthly events and don't consider that these events are the result of wrong thoughts and desires. And what you could easily overcome if your will were turned towards God will now cost you a bitter struggle, you will have to surrender it unwillingly and you will be seized by horror in view of the values which are doomed to destruction. And if you then regocnize the worthlessness of earthly possessions you will be saved, but woe betide those whose heart cannot yet part with the world's goods.... They can no longer be saved on earth, for they are still too attached to matter and still too distant from God to want to regocnize His reign. The one who fights all earthly desires will be at an advantage, for he will also regocnize clearly and lightly the meaning and purpose of all events for the further development of the soul. But he who only ever sees the world and only wants to avert the damage in a purely earthly way still lacks the right realization, his thinking is erroneous and he will move further and further away from the truth, for he neither seeks nor desires it but is firmly attached to that which is part of the adversary. His train of thought is erroneous and therefore all conclusions will also be erroneous until he stifles his desire for earthly possessions and only desires spiritual possessions. Only then can he become enlightened and only then will he regocnize the cause of humanity's physical and spiritual decline....

황금 만능과 재물. 잘못된 방향을 가진 의지.

너희의 심장이 너무 지나치게 재물에 연연해하고, 이로써 너희가 물질로부터 자유롭지 못하고, 물질의 증가를 추구하면, 이는 큰 위험이고, 큰 불의이다. 너희의 생각과 추구하는 일이 항상 단지 세상 물질을 증가시키는 일을 향할 것이다. 그러므로 너희는 가까이 다가오는 심판을 알려주는 징조에 주의를 기울이지 않는다. 너희는 세상의 재물에 대한 소원과 의지를 가진 세계에서 산다. 너희는 이 삶이 너희를 파문을 받은 상태로 다시 끌어들인다는 것을 잊는다. 이 땅의 삶은 너희가 이런 욕망으로부터 자유롭게 되는 기회를 너희에게 주기 위해 주어진 것이다. 그러나 너희는 너희의 삶을 물질을 증가시키기 위해 사용한다. 너희는 항상 더욱 너희를 포로로 만들게 하고, 끔찍한 결과를 생각하지 않는다. 너희의 생각은 현혹된 생각이다. 왜냐하면 너희가 더 이상 모든 악의 뿌리를 깨닫지 못하기 때문이다. 너희는 거짓과 진리를 구별할 수 없다. 너희는 모든 세상의 성공을 즐거워하고, 너희의 영적인 상태는 뒤떨어진다.

어두움 속에서 자신을 행복하게 느끼는 너희는 빛이 될 수 없다. 왜냐하면 너희가 빛의 대항해 싸우기 때문이다. 너희는 위로부터 온 가르침에 너희 자신을 닫는다. 너희가 너희에게 너희의 잘못된 의지의 방향을 알려주기 원하는 하나님의 음성에 귀를 기울이지 않는 너희는 너희 자신에 대항해서 분노하게 된다. 너희는 단지 너희의 사랑에 합당한 것만을 인정한다. 너희의 사랑이 세상과 세상의 재물을 향해 있기 때문에, 너희는 이를 악한 것으로 규정하는 것을 불쾌하게 여긴다. 너희는 너희의 가장 큰 위험으로부터 구원이 되야 할 하나님의 말씀을 버린다. 너희는 모든 관심을 단지 세상에서 일어나는 일로 향하게 하고, 세상에서 일어나는 일들이 잘못된 생각과 소원의 결과임을 생각하지 않는다.

너희 의지가 하나님께 향해 있다면, 너희가 쉽게 극복할 수 있게 될 일이 이제 너희가 고통스러운 싸움을 거쳐야만 하는 일이 될 것이다. 너희는 원치 않게 재물을 잃어야만 할 것이고, 가치가 파괴되는 것을 보며, 끔찍하게 놀라게 될 것이다. 너희가 세상 물질이 가치가 없음을 깨달으면, 너희는 구원을 받았다. 그러나 그들의 심장이 아직 세상의 재물을 떠날 수 없는 사람은 화가 있을 것이다. 이 땅에서는 그들에게 더 이상 구원을 줄 수 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그들은 아직 아주 물질과 연합이 되어있고, 하나님의 역사를 깨닫기에는 하나님으로부터 너무 멀리 떨어져 있기 때문이다. 모든 세상의 소원에 대항해 싸운다면, 그에게 유익이 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그는 모든 일어나는 일들이 혼의 계속되는 성장을 위해 의미와 목적이 있음을 빛 가운데 선명하게 깨닫게 될 것이기 때문이다.

그러나 항상 단지 세상을 보고, 단지 순수하게 세상적인 손해만을 피하기 원하는 사람은 아직 올바른 깨달음이 부족하고, 그의 생각은 잘못되고, 그는 항상 더욱 진리로부터 멀어지게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그는 진리를 구하거나, 갈망하지 않고, 그러나 대적자의 소유인 것과 굳게 연결되어 있기 때문이다. 그의 생각은 잘못되었다. 그러므로 그가 자신 안의 세상 재물을 향한 갈망을 제거하고, 단지 영적인 재물을 갈망하게 되기까지, 그의 모든 추론은 오류가 될 것이다. 그러면, 비로소 그의 내면이 밝게 될 것이다. 그러면 비로소 그는 인류가 육체적으로 영적으로 열망하는 원인을 깨닫게 될 것이다.
