Mammon - matter.... wrong direction of will....

It is a great danger and a great injustice that you attach your heart too much to mammon and thus do not detach yourselves from matter but endeavour to increase it. And your thoughts and aspirations will only ever be directed towards the increase of earthly good, and thus you are also not aware of the signs which announce the approaching judgement. You live in a world of desires, of wanting the treasures of this earth, and you forget that these pull you down again towards the banished state. Earthly life was given to you to give you the opportunity to free yourselves from such desires, but you use it to increase yourselves, you allow yourselves to become ever more captivated and do not consider the dreadful consequences. And your thinking is blinded, for you no longer regocnize the root of all evil, you are unable to distinguish between lies and truth, you rejoice in every earthly success and your spiritual state declines. You cannot become light where you yourselves feel comfortable in darkness. For you fight against the light, you close yourselves to the instructions from above, and you rage against yourselves if you do not pay attention to God's voice which would like to inform you of your wrong direction of will. You only accept that which corresponds to your love, and since your love is for the world and its possessions you take offence at the fact that these are labelled as evil. And you reject the word of God, which is supposed to be your salvation from greatest adversity, you only pay attention to earthly events and don't consider that these events are the result of wrong thoughts and desires. And what you could easily overcome if your will were turned towards God will now cost you a bitter struggle, you will have to surrender it unwillingly and you will be seized by horror in view of the values which are doomed to destruction. And if you then regocnize the worthlessness of earthly possessions you will be saved, but woe betide those whose heart cannot yet part with the world's goods.... They can no longer be saved on earth, for they are still too attached to matter and still too distant from God to want to regocnize His reign. The one who fights all earthly desires will be at an advantage, for he will also regocnize clearly and lightly the meaning and purpose of all events for the further development of the soul. But he who only ever sees the world and only wants to avert the damage in a purely earthly way still lacks the right realization, his thinking is erroneous and he will move further and further away from the truth, for he neither seeks nor desires it but is firmly attached to that which is part of the adversary. His train of thought is erroneous and therefore all conclusions will also be erroneous until he stifles his desire for earthly possessions and only desires spiritual possessions. Only then can he become enlightened and only then will he regocnize the cause of humanity's physical and spiritual decline....

Mammon - Materie.... Verkehrte Willensrichtung....

Es ist die große Gefahr und ein großes Unrecht, daß ihr euer Herz zu sehr an den Mammon hängt und also euch nicht von der Materie löset, sondern bestrebt seid, ihn zu vermehren. Und euer Sinnen und Trachten wird stets nur der Vermehrung irdischen Gutes gelten, und so habt ihr auch nicht acht der Anzeichen, die das nahende Gericht ankündigen. Ihr lebt in einer Welt der Wünsche, des Wollens nach den Schätzen dieser Erde, und ihr vergesset, daß diese euch herabziehen, wieder dem gebannten Zustand entgegen. Das Erdenleben ist euch gegeben, um Gelegenheit zu haben, euch frei zu machen von solchen Begierden, ihr aber nützet es zur Vermehrung, ihr laßt euch immer mehr gefangennehmen und bedenket nicht die entsetzlichen Folgen. Und euer Denken ist ein verblendetes, denn ihr erkennt auch nicht mehr die Wurzel alles Übels, ihr könnt nicht die Lüge von der Wahrheit unterscheiden, ihr freut euch jeden irdischen Erfolges, und euer Geisteszustand geht zurück. Es kann euch nicht Licht werden, wo ihr selbst euch in der Dunkelheit wohl fühlt. Denn ihr bekämpfet ja das Licht, ihr verschließt euch den Weisungen von oben, und ihr wütet gegen euch selbst, so ihr der Stimme Gottes nicht achtet, die euch Aufschluß geben möchte über euere verkehrte Willensrichtung. Nur das lasset ihr gelten, was eurer Liebe entspricht, und da eure Liebe der Welt gilt und deren Gütern, nehmet ihr Anstoß daran, daß diese als Übel gekennzeichnet werden. Und ihr verwerfet das Wort Gottes, das euch Rettung sein soll aus größter Not, ihr wendet alle Aufmerksamkeit nur irdischem Geschehen zu und bedenket nicht, daß diese Geschehen die Folge sind der verkehrten Gedanken und Wünsche. Und was ihr leicht überwinden könntet, so euer Wille Gott zugewandt wäre, das wird euch nun bitteren Kampf kosten, ihr werdet es hingeben müssen ungewollt, und ein Entsetzen wird euch erfassen angesichts der Werte, die der Vernichtung anheimfallen. Und so ihr dann die Wertlosigkeit irdischen Gutes erkennt, seid ihr gerettet, doch wehe denen, deren Herz sich noch nicht trennen kann von den Gütern der Welt.... Ihnen ist auf Erden keine Rettung mehr zu bringen, denn sie sind noch zu sehr mit der Materie verbunden und Gott noch zu fern, als daß sie Sein Walten erkennen möchten. Es wird der im Vorteil sein, der alle irdischen Wünsche bekämpft, denn er wird auch licht und klar erkennen den Sinn und Zweck allen Geschehens für die Weiterbildung der Seele. Wer aber immer nur die Welt sieht und den Schaden nur rein irdisch abwenden möchte, dem mangelt es noch an der rechten Erkenntnis, sein Denken ist irrig, und er wird sich immer weiter von der Wahrheit entfernen, denn er sucht und begehrt diese nicht, ist aber fest mit dem verbunden, was Anteil ist des Widersachers. Sein Gedankengang ist irrig, und es werden sonach auch alle Folgerungen Irrtum sein, solange, bis er sein Verlangen nach irdischem Gut in sich erstickt und nur die geistigen Güter begehrt. Dann erst kann es hell werden in ihm, und dann erst erkennt er die Ursache des leiblichen und geistigen Niederganges der Menschheit....
