Love indispensable for spiritual wealth....

The human being whose disposition is devoid of all love is to be called unspeakably poor, for he lacks the realization of the highest nature of God, since all that is divine cannot unfold in him. In his blindness he not only sees earthly life in a false light, but he also makes his heart completely incapable of receiving divine wisdom. He closes himself off to divine activity and can therefore never be taught the truth. For love is indispensable, it is the link between the human being and the teaching forces of the beyond.... Without love the human being does not hear the voice within himself, without love the spiritual spark cannot be kindled in him, and without love all understanding of spiritual truths is also impossible. The human being must educate himself to love, and he can do this with ease if he pays less attention to earthly life and turns to the supernatural. A person who occupies himself in thought with things that lie beyond the earthly will now also regard his fellow human being as an equal seeking being, and this will trigger a kind of feeling of connection in him. He feels the need to exchange his thoughts with him, he wants to share them with him and also lead him on the same path, and thus love begins to unfold in him and a barrier is torn down which previously blocked access to knowledge.... What the human being himself regocnizes as right he wants to communicate to his neighbour, and thus when the need to communicate comes alive in him, his train of thought will also be guided correctly, for where there is love, God Himself is and prevents wrong results of thought. Man should cultivate love, he should carry it in his heart as the most precious commodity and constantly seek to increase it.... And if he lacks the strength to do so, he should ask for it.... And his life will be rich in spiritual possessions, for love will bring him insights that man cannot gain in any other way. God gives the loving person unmeasured wisdom and power, light and strength, and he can therefore call himself abundantly rich, for he is provided for by the heavenly father with the same love.... And thus love can never be switched off if man is to be enlightened.... Without love the human being remains astray and walks in spiritual night.... But love illuminates and leads to the knowledge of divine truth....

사랑은 영적인 부에 필수적이다.

성품에 사랑이 없는 사람은 말로 할 수 없을 정도로 가난하다. 왜냐하면 그 안에 신적인 존재가 성장할 수 없기 때문에 그에게 최고로 높은 하나님의 성품에 관한 깨달음이 부족하기 때문이다. 그의 눈이 멀었을 때 그는 거짓된 빛으로 이 땅의 생명을 볼 뿐만 아니라 그의 심장이 하나님의 지혜를 전적으로 받을 수 없게 만든다. 그는 하나님의 역사에 자신을 닫는다. 따라서 결코 진리 안에서 가르침을 받을 수 없다. 사랑은 필수 불가결하기 때문이다. 사랑이 비로소 인간과 저세상의 가르침 사이의 연결 고리이다. 사랑이 없으면 인간은 자신의 내면의 목소리를 듣지 못하고, 사랑이 없으면 자신 안의 영적인 불씨에 불을 붙일 수 없고, 사랑이 없이는 영적 진리를 이해하는 일이 불가능하다.

인간은 자신을 사랑으로 양육해야만 한다. 만약에 그가 이 땅의 삶에 적게 관심을 기울이고, 초감각적인 일로 향한다면, 그는 자신을 사랑으로 양육하는 일을 쉽게 할 수 있다. 사람이 세상 밖에 있는 것들을 대한 생각을 하면, 그는 이제 자신의 이웃사람을 자기와 같이 구하는 존재로 간주할 것이다. 이런 일이 그 안에 일종의 유대감을 유발할 것이다. 그는 이웃사람과 자신의 생각을 교환해야 할 필요를 느낀다. 그는 이웃사람에게 자신의 생각을 전하기를 원하고 또한 그를 같은 길로 이끌기를 원한다. 다시 말해 그 안에 사랑이 펼쳐지기 시작하고, 전에 지식을 향한 접근을 차단했던 장벽이 무너진다.

사람은 자신이 옳다고 인정하는 것을 이웃사람에게 전하기를 원한다. 그러므로 그 안에 전해주려는 필요성이 생명력이 있게 되면, 그의 생각도 또한 올바르게 인도될 것이다. 왜냐하면 사랑이 있는 곳에 하나님 자신이 있고, 잘못된 생각의 결과를 막아 주기 때문이다. 사람은 사랑을 돌봐야 하고, 사랑을 가장 귀중한 것으로 심장 안에 품고, 끊임없이 증가시키려고 노력해야 한다. 그에게 이렇게 할 힘이 없다면, 그는 힘을 요청해야 한다. 그의 삶에 영적인 재산이 풍부하게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 사랑은 다른 사람이 달리 성취할 수 없는 깨달음을 그에게 주기 때문이다.

하나님은 사랑하는 사람에게 측량할 수 없는 지혜와 능력과 빛과 강함을 준다. 그는 자신을 풍성하다고 부를 수 있다. 왜냐하면 그는 하늘의 아버지로부터 동등한 사랑을 받기 때문이다. 그러므로 사람이 깨달음을 얻으려면, 사랑을 제외시킬 수 없다. 사랑이 없으면 사람은 오류에 머물고, 영적인 밤을 걷는다. 그러나 사랑은 밝게 해주고, 하나님의 진리에 관한 지식으로 인도한다.
