Connecting the soul with the spiritual....

Man need only imagine that his soul longs for liberation and he will muster all his will to help it out of captivity. The soul of man is likewise spiritual, which is to find the way to God.... it is a substance that feels comfortable in freedom and perceives the form that envelops it as a terrible constraint. As long as it has not yet found the right path, it is without any bond with the spiritual substance that has emerged from God, but it alone is an unfree, tormented being that only attains a certain freedom in union with the spirit. As long as the soul fulfils the desire of the body, its state is an unfree one; only when it enters into the desire of the spirit does it become freer, and when it now strives for complete union with it, it releases itself from the constraint of being bound. In order to now complete this process the will for the final unification with the spiritual has to be exceptionally strong, the soul, therefore all thinking, feeling and wanting in man, has to be directed only towards living according to this aim, it is therefore no longer allowed to live earth life without a plan but it has to get in touch with those powers which help it with the work, which is now only to be the only task, because the soul is weakened in its will. It can only master this work on itself with support. It first has to make use of the power for it, which God however puts at its disposal unmeasured, only the will of the soul has to become active to receive it. And it has to accomplish this activity of will itself; it has to carry the desire to ascend, the desire for a free, unbound state, through the desire for it it has to express its will to want to become again what it was and what its actual destiny is, then the path is also open to it, for it will be supported in its endeavour, it will be given strength and can now take the path upwards unhindered, it can shape itself such that a unification with the spirit from God is the result of its striving.... It can give up its unfree state and leave the last earthly form as a completely free being....

혼과 영적인 존재의 연결.

사람은 단지 자신의 혼이 해방되기를 갈망한다는 것을 상상하기만 하면 된다. 그러면 그는 혼을 포로의 상태를 벗어나도록 돕기 위해 모든 의지를 드리게 될 것이다. 인간의 혼은 마찬가지로 하나님께 가는 길을 찾아야 하는 영적인 존재이다. 혼은 자유로움에 편안함을 느끼고, 자신을 감싸고 있는 형체를 끔찍한 강제로 느끼는 입자이다. 혼이 아직 올바른 길을 찾지 못한 동안에는, 혼은 하나님으로부터 나온 영적인 존재와 아무런 관련이 없다. 그러나 혼은 단지 영과 결합을 하는 가운데 특정한 자유에 도달하고, 혼자서는 자유가 없이 고통을 받는 존재이다.

혼이 육체의 욕망을 따르는 동안에는 혼의 상태는 자유롭지 못하다. 영의 갈망을 따르는 일이 비로소 혼을 더 자유롭게 한다. 혼이 이제 영과 완전한 연합을 위해 추구하면, 혼은 묶임을 받는 강요에서 벗어나게 된다. 이 과정을 끝내기 위해서는 영적인 존재와 최종적으로 하나가 되려는 의지가 아주 강해야만 한다. 혼이, 즉 사람 안의 모든 생각, 느낌과 의지가 단지 이 목표를 위해 사는 방향으로 향해야만 한다. 그러므로 혼은 이 땅의 삶을 더 이상 계획이 없이 살아서는 안되고, 혼은 혼에게 유일한 과제가 되어야 하는 일을 하도록 혼에게 도움을 주는 세력들과 연결을 이뤄야만 한다. 왜냐하면 혼의 의지가 연역해졌기 때문이다. 혼은 단지 지원을 통해 자기 자신에 대한 작업을 완성할 수 있다. 혼은 이 일을 위한 힘을 요청해야만 한다. 그러나 하나님이 이 힘을 혼에게 측량할 수 없게 제공한다. 이 힘을 받기 위해 혼의 의지가 단지 역사해야만 한다.

혼의 의지를 실행으로 옮기는 일은 혼 스스로가 해야만 한다. 혼은 위를 향한 갈망을, 자유롭고 구속받지 않은 상태를 향한 갈망을 가져야만 한다. 혼은 이런 상태를 향한 욕망을 통해 자신이 실제 정함 받은 대로, 자신이 한때 그렇게 던 것처럼, 다시 되기 원하는 자신의 의지를 표현해야만 한다. 그러면 혼은 자신의 계획에 지원을 받게 될 것이다. 혼은 힘을 받을 것이고, 이제 방해받지 않고 높은 곳을 향한 길을 갈 수 있다. 혼은 자신을 형성하여, 자신이 추구한 결과로, 하나님의 영과 하나가 될 수 있다. 혼은 자신의 자유롭지 못한 상태를 포기하고, 완전히 자유로운 존재로 자신의 마지막 이 땅의 형태를 벗어날 수 있다.
