Connecting the soul with the spiritual....

Man need only imagine that his soul longs for liberation and he will muster all his will to help it out of captivity. The soul of man is likewise spiritual, which is to find the way to God.... it is a substance that feels comfortable in freedom and perceives the form that envelops it as a terrible constraint. As long as it has not yet found the right path, it is without any bond with the spiritual substance that has emerged from God, but it alone is an unfree, tormented being that only attains a certain freedom in union with the spirit. As long as the soul fulfils the desire of the body, its state is an unfree one; only when it enters into the desire of the spirit does it become freer, and when it now strives for complete union with it, it releases itself from the constraint of being bound. In order to now complete this process the will for the final unification with the spiritual has to be exceptionally strong, the soul, therefore all thinking, feeling and wanting in man, has to be directed only towards living according to this aim, it is therefore no longer allowed to live earth life without a plan but it has to get in touch with those powers which help it with the work, which is now only to be the only task, because the soul is weakened in its will. It can only master this work on itself with support. It first has to make use of the power for it, which God however puts at its disposal unmeasured, only the will of the soul has to become active to receive it. And it has to accomplish this activity of will itself; it has to carry the desire to ascend, the desire for a free, unbound state, through the desire for it it has to express its will to want to become again what it was and what its actual destiny is, then the path is also open to it, for it will be supported in its endeavour, it will be given strength and can now take the path upwards unhindered, it can shape itself such that a unification with the spirit from God is the result of its striving.... It can give up its unfree state and leave the last earthly form as a completely free being....

SPAJANJE DUŠE S DUHO(VNI)M....

Čovjek si samo treba predočiti to da njegova duša čezne za oslobođenjem, i on će svom voljom prionuti da ju oslobodi iz zarobljeništva. Duša čovjeka je isto tako duhovno koje treba naći put do Boga.... ona je supstanca koja se u slobodi osjeća dobro i formu koja ju ovija doživljava kao užasnu prisilu. Ona je bez ikakve veze sa duhovnim koje je proizašlo iz Boga, sve dok još nije pronašla pravi put, no sama je neslobodno, napaćeno biće, koje jedino u sjedinjenju s duhom dospijeva do jedne izvjesne slobode.

Dokle god duša odgovara zahtijevima tijela, u stanju je neslobode; tek prihvaćanje zahtjeva duha čini ju slobodnijom, i kad ona onda stremi potpunom sjedinjenju s njim, ona se oslobađa iz prisile svezanosti. Da bi se taj proces doveo do kraja, volja za definitivnim sjedinjenjem s duhovnim mora biti izuzetno snažna, duša, dakle svo razmišljanje, osjećanje i htijenje čovjeka, mora biti usmjereno samo na to da živi u skladu s tim ciljem, ona znači zemaljski život ne smije više živjeti neplanski, nego se mora povezati s onim silama koje joj pomažu pri tom poslu koji joj tada treba biti jedini zadatak, jer duša je oslabljena u svojoj volji. Ona taj posao na sebi samoj može svladati samo uz podršku. Ona se u tu svrhu prvo mora poslužiti snagom koju joj Bog neograničeno daje na raspolaganje, samo što za prijem nje volja duše mora biti aktivirana.

A tu aktivnost volje mora poduzeti ona sama; ona mora žudjeti ići prema gore, žudjeti stanje slobode, nesvezanosti, ona žudnjom za tim mora očitovati svoju volju da opet postane ono što je bila i što je njeno stvarno određenje [[(namjena, sudbina)]], tada joj je i put slobodan, jer ona je u svojoj namjeri podupirana, ona je snabdjevana snagom i onda nesputano može krenuti putem ka gore, može se oblikovati onako da je sjedinjenje s duhom iz Boga posljedica njenog stremljenja.... može odustati od svog neslobodnog stanja i zadnju zemljsku formu napustiti kao potpuno slobodno biće....
