"And the world will be redeemed from all sin...."

And the world will be redeemed from all sin.... Thus the lord once spoke to mankind, He proclaimed the saviour, He promised mankind redemption from all sin. And Jesus Christ fulfilled this promise through His suffering and death on the cross. But how does the world, i.e. people themselves, view this redemption?.... The lord has done everything to fulfil this promise; but what must man do in order to share in the divine promise?.... He must first have the will to be redeemed.... Thus, by recognizing Christ as the son of God and redeemer of the world, he must want to belong to those who have been redeemed by His death on the cross. He must be prepared to receive the graces of the work of redemption, as there is: a will strengthened by fervent prayer, which makes everything feasible, i.e. can be put into practice. Previously the will was bound by the power of the adversary and there was no means to free itself from this power because the human being was too weak to resist due to his guilt of sin. Divine love gave itself to break the adversary's power, so that the human being's will could become strong enough to escape this power. The strength of will must therefore first be requested through prayer.... And at the same time the human being must mould himself into a loving being, which is also only possible for him through the lord's work of love.... For sin can only be eradicated through love. Therefore, the person who wants to be redeemed from sin must stand in love, i.e. be permeated, as it were, by the ray of divine love that moved Jesus Christ to sacrifice Himself for mankind's guilt of sin. The human being must affirm the great work of mercy, regocnize the love of Christ and want himself to be allowed to stand in the circle of those for whom the lord died on the cross.... he must regocnize the work of redemption and want to be redeemed....

He therefore claims the graces of the work of redemption who calls upon God's mercy for Jesus' sake, who implores Jesus as mediator between himself and God for His intercession.... If you ask the father in My name, He will give it to you.... For the sake of His son all guilt of sin shall be cancelled, for the sake of His son forgiveness of sins is assured to all men. Whoever therefore believes in Jesus Christ, that He is the son of God, Who through His death on the cross redeemed the world from all sin, will also be redeemed through his faith.... For he accepts the grace that the saviour Himself offers him, he allows himself to be redeemed by His will.... He affirms the work of redemption, he regocnizes the immense divine love, he regocnizes his immense guilt, he regocnizes his unworthiness and his powerlessness to free himself from it. He lifts his hands up to Christ in supplication and asks for mercy.... And so he is freed from all guilt.... The saviour's work of love for humanity can only be assessed in its greatness when the human being imagines the heavenly delights as well as the unspeakable suffering in the beyond, that is, the redeemed as well as the banished state.... when he imagines that only His infinite love moved Jesus to take unspeakable pain upon Himself in order to spare the souls in the beyond the pain. But if His love is not regocnized, i.e. if the lord's work of redemption is doubted or even denied, the person excludes himself from the circle of those whom the lord redeemed through His death on the cross. For if the lord in His love offers him the most exquisite gift of grace and he rejects it, it is his own fault if unspeakable suffering comes upon him in the hereafter. No being can be redeemed without Jesus Christ, for the will was bound, i.e. in satan's power, for as long as Christ Himself had not released this will.... The redemption took place through the death of Christ on the cross. The lord died for everyone, and thus everyone's will can become free from the adversary's power, yet without redemption the power of the adversary is so great that the human being alone can never escape it....

“세상은 모든 죄에서 구속될 것이다."

세상은 모든 죄에서 구속될 것이다. 주님이 한때 사람들에게 이렇게 말했다. 그는 구세주를 예고했고, 사람들에게 모든 죄의식에서 구속을 약속했다. 예수 그리스도는 십자가에서의 고통과 죽음을 통해 이 약속을 성취했다. 그러나 세상은, 즉 사람 자신은 이 구속과 관련하여 어떻게 자세를 가지고 있느냐? 주님은 이 약속을 이루기 위해 모든 것을 했다. 그러나 인간은 하느님의 약속에 참여하기 위해 무엇을 해야만 하는가? 그는 먼저 자신을 구원하려는 의지가 있어야만 한다. 그러므로 그는 그리스도를 하나님의 아들이자 세상의 구세주로 인정함으로써 십자가의 죽음으로 구속받은 사람들의 무리에 속하기를 원해야만 한다.

그는 구속 사역의 은혜를 받아드릴 준비가 되어 있어야만 한다: 이 은혜는 긴밀한 기도를 통해 강하게 된, 모든 것이 실행될 수 있게 하는 의지이다. 즉 실천할 수 있는 의지다. 이전에는 의지가 이 권세로부터 자신을 해방시킬 수단이 없었다. 왜냐하면 인간이 자신의 죄짐으로 인해 저항하기에는 너무 약했기 때문이다. 하나님의 사랑이 대적자의 권세가 무너지도록 자기 자신을 희생했다. 그러므로 인간의 의지가 이 권세로부터 자신을 해방시킬 수 있을 정도로 강해질 수 있었다. 그러므로 우선 먼저 기도를 통해 의지가 강해지기를 구해야만 한다. 사람이 동시에 사랑의 존재로 자신을 형성해야만 한다. 이일은 단지 주님의 사랑의 역사를 통해 비로소 가능하다. 왜냐하면 단지 사랑을 통해 죄문제를 해결할 수 있기 때문이다.

그러므로 죄에서 구속되기 원하는 사람은 사랑 안에 서야만 한다. 동시에 예수 그리스가 인류의 죄를 위해 자신을 희생하게 한 하나님의 사랑의 비추임으로 충만해져야 한다. 인간은 위대한 긍휼의 역사를 시인하는 자세를 가져야만 하고, 그리스도의 사랑을 깨달아야만 하고, 주님이 사람들을 위해 십자가에서 죽은 사람들의 무리에 속하기를 스스로 원해야만 한다. 그는 구속의 사역을 인정하고 구원받기를 원해야만 한다.

그러므로 예수님 때문에 하나님의 긍휼을 요청하는 사람은, 자신과 하나님 사이의 중보자 예수님께 그의 중보기도를 간청하는 사람은 구속 사역의 은혜를 활용한다. 너희가 내 이름으로 아버지께 구하면, 아버지는 너희에게 줄 것이다. 아버지의 아들 때문에 모든 죄짐이 해결되야 한다. 아버지의 아들때문에 모든 사람에게 죄 사함이 보장된다. 그러므로 자신의 십자가의 죽음으로 세상을 모든 죄에서 구원한 예수 그리스도가 하나님의 아들임을 믿는 사람은 또한 그의 믿음으로 구원을 받을 것이다. 왜냐하면 그는 구세주 자신이 그에게 제공하는 은혜를 받아들이기 때문이다. 그는 자신의 의지를 통해 자신을 구원한다. 그는 구속의 사역을 시인하고, 아주 큰 하나님의 사랑을 깨닫는다. 그는 자신의 아주 큰 죄를 깨닫는다. 그는 자신의 무가치함과 자신을 죄로부터 자유롭게 만들 수 없는 자신의 무력함을 깨닫는다. 그는 간청하면서 두 손을 들어 그리스도께 긍휼을 구한다. 그러므로 그는 모든 죄에서 해방이 될 것이다.

인류를 향한 구세주의 사랑의 역사의 규모는 인간이 하늘의 기쁨과 저세상의 말할 수 없는 고통을 생각할 때, 즉 구속받은 상태와 묶임을 받는 상태를 상상할 때, 비로소 측량할 수 있고, 단지 하나님의 무한한 사랑이 저세상의 혼들을 고통에서 살리기 위해 예수가 말할 수 없는 고통을 자신의 어깨에 짊어지게 한 것을 생각할 때, 비로소 측량할 수 있다. 그러나 그의 사랑을 인정하지 않으면, 다시 말해 주님의 구속 사역에 의문을 제기하거나, 심지어 논쟁을 벌이는 경우, 사람이 스스로 주님이 십자가의 죽음을 통해 구속한 사람들의 무리에서 자신을 제외시킨다.

왜냐하면 주님이 자신의 사랑으로 사람에게 가장 소중한 은혜의 선물을 주었고, 그가 이를 거절한다면, 저세상에서 형언할 수 없는 고통이 그에게 닥치는 일은 그 자신의 잘못이다. 예수 그리스도가 없이는 어떤 존재도 구속될 수 없다. 왜냐하면 의지가 아주 오래 묶여 있었기 때문이다. 다시 말해 그리스도 자신이 이 의지를 자유롭게 해주지 않았다면, 의지가 사탄의 권세 아래 있었을 것이기 때문이다. 이 문제는 그리스도의 십자가의 죽음을 통해 해결이 되었다. 주님은 모든 사람을 위해 죽었다. 그러므로 모든 사람의 의지가 대적자의 권세로부터 자유롭게 될 수 있다. 그러나 구속이 없이는 대적자의 권세가 너무 커서 사람이 혼자서는 절대로 자신을 대적자의 권세로부터 자유롭게 할 수 없다.
