spiritual and physical nourishment....

The needs of the body and the soul are completely different. For its preservation the body needs those nutrients which are again taken from the realm of the earthly.... therefore, earthly things must be nourished with earthly things in order to exist, i.e., it is divine will that the human being's earthly body is also to a certain extent dependent on God's creations which are at his disposal and which again fulfil their earthly task by serving to maintain the human body. So man can never free himself on his own authority from these otherwise seemingly insignificant works of creation, he inevitably needs them and is therefore in certain dependence on everything that contributes to the preservation of his earth life. And this is wisely arranged by the eternal creator. He has thus established the connection between everything spiritual, everything is needed in creation and consequently nothing is without purpose.... The spiritual in every work of creation always pushes towards the spiritual of the one it is meant to serve. And the connection of everything spiritual is always connected with the liberation from the old form. So serving the spiritual also means its redemption....

The merging of the spiritual of the one and the other form also means increased activity, i.e. being of service to the human being who needs this work of creation. Man's body needs many things in his life and all these must be supplied to him in order to either achieve the inner structure or also to serve the outer shell to protect it. Everything that man needs in his earthly existence is provided for in God's creation....

In particular every spiritual substance is withdrawn from matter as soon as it is taken up by living beings as food, therefore for the preservation of the outer form. This spiritual substance now joins the spiritual of the living being, so that in a certain period of time the spiritual again attains maturity to change into another form, which again sets greater tasks to the being. Increase of the spiritual through fusion of individual entities and maturing of these through service in God's intended sense is always and constantly the purpose of the change through all works of creation. And in the last stage as man now likewise the body, the outer form, and the soul.... the spiritual in man, must be provided with supply of spiritual substance for the purpose of perfection, and indeed now no longer what is taken up by the body as food benefits both.... the body and the soul.... but it is again up to the will of man whether the soul also receives spiritual nourishment at the same time. And indeed, this nourishment must be offered to it in addition to the purely bodily nourishment and must also be thought of at the same time as the soul receives the latter, so that the latter also serves the increase of spiritual substance in addition to the preservation of the body. The human soul can therefore be considered in two ways.... the spiritual in the form can be extraordinarily increased through the right reception of natural food and drink, and this increased spiritual can again reach an extraordinarily high degree of maturity through the supply of spiritual food.... through the word of God.... reach an extraordinarily high degree of maturity, so that the outer form has now fulfilled its last purpose, therefore the spiritual no longer needs such for higher development, but has reached the goal that was set for it for the earthly career and therefore soars up into light heights without any outer fetters. Extraordinarily much can be achieved in the last stage of development, but free will is always the reason for this, since it is now up to the human being himself to shape his soul, everything spiritual in him, but the success of the endeavour is also extraordinarily valuable, for it is complete liberation from the form....

Alimentação espiritual e física....

As necessidades do corpo e da alma são completamente diferentes. Para a sua preservação o corpo precisa dos nutrientes que são novamente retirados do reino da.... terrestre. Assim, as coisas terrenas têm de ser nutridas com coisas terrenas para poderem existir, ou seja, é vontade divina que o corpo terreno do ser humano também dependa, em certa medida, das criações de Deus à sua disposição, as quais, por sua vez, cumprem a sua tarefa terrena, servindo o corpo humano para a sua manutenção. Assim, o ser humano nunca poderá libertar-se destas obras de criação, de resto aparentemente insignificantes, precisa inevitavelmente delas e está, portanto, numa certa dependência de tudo o que contribui para a preservação da sua vida terrena. E isto é sabiamente arranjado pelo eterno Criador. Ele estabeleceu assim a ligação entre tudo o que é espiritual, tudo é necessário na criação, e consequentemente nada é sem propósito.... O espiritual em cada obra da criação empurra sempre para o espiritual daquele a quem se destina a servir. E a ligação de tudo o que é espiritual está sempre ligada com a libertação da forma antiga. Portanto, servir o espiritual também significa a sua redenção....

A fusão do espiritual de uma forma e da outra também significa aumento da atividade, ou seja, estar a serviço do ser humano que necessita deste trabalho de criação. O corpo do ser humano precisa de muitas coisas na sua vida, e todas elas têm de lhe ser fornecidas para construir o corpo interior ou para servir o invólucro exterior para a sua protecção. Tudo o que o ser humano precisa na sua existência terrena é providenciado na criação de Deus.

Em particular, toda substância espiritual é retirada da matéria assim que é ingerida pelos seres vivos como alimento, ou seja, para a manutenção da forma exterior. Esta substância espiritual une-se agora ao espiritual do ser vivo, de modo que, num certo período de tempo, o espiritual volta a atingir a maturidade para se transformar numa outra forma, o que novamente coloca maiores tarefas sobre o ser. O aumento do espiritual através da fusão de entidades individuais e o amadurecimento destas através do serviço no sentido pretendido por Deus é sempre e constantemente o propósito da mudança através de todas as obras da criação. E no último estágio como ser humano, o corpo, a forma exterior e a alma.... o espiritual no ser humano, também deve ser provido de substância espiritual para o propósito de perfeição, e não é mais o alimento recebido pelo corpo que beneficia tanto o corpo quanto a alma...., mas cabe mais uma vez ao corpo prover a substância espiritual. Mas, mais uma vez, depende da vontade do ser humano se a alma também recebe o alimento espiritual ao mesmo tempo. E, de fato, esse alimento deve ser-lhe oferecido além do alimento puramente corporal e também ser pensado ao mesmo tempo em que se recebe este último, de modo a servir também ao aumento da substância espiritual, além da preservação do corpo. A alma do homem pode, portanto, ser considerada de duas maneiras.... A substância espiritual na forma pode ser extraordinariamente aumentada através da ingestão correta de alimentos e bebidas naturais, e esta substância espiritual aumentada pode novamente alcançar um grau extraordinariamente alto de maturidade através do fornecimento de alimento espiritual.... através da Palavra de Deus..... A forma externa já cumpriu o seu último propósito, portanto a substância espiritual não precisa mais dela para um desenvolvimento superior, mas atingiu o objetivo que lhe foi fixado para a sua carreira terrena e assim sobe às alturas da luz sem qualquer restrição externa. Na última etapa de desenvolvimento pode-se alcançar uma quantidade extraordinária, mas o livre arbítrio é sempre a razão disso, pois cabe agora ao próprio ser humano moldar sua alma, tudo o que há de espiritual nele, mas o sucesso do esforço também é extraordinariamente valioso, pois é a libertação completa da forma....
