spiritual and physical nourishment....

The needs of the body and the soul are completely different. For its preservation the body needs those nutrients which are again taken from the realm of the earthly.... therefore, earthly things must be nourished with earthly things in order to exist, i.e., it is divine will that the human being's earthly body is also to a certain extent dependent on God's creations which are at his disposal and which again fulfil their earthly task by serving to maintain the human body. So man can never free himself on his own authority from these otherwise seemingly insignificant works of creation, he inevitably needs them and is therefore in certain dependence on everything that contributes to the preservation of his earth life. And this is wisely arranged by the eternal creator. He has thus established the connection between everything spiritual, everything is needed in creation and consequently nothing is without purpose.... The spiritual in every work of creation always pushes towards the spiritual of the one it is meant to serve. And the connection of everything spiritual is always connected with the liberation from the old form. So serving the spiritual also means its redemption....

The merging of the spiritual of the one and the other form also means increased activity, i.e. being of service to the human being who needs this work of creation. Man's body needs many things in his life and all these must be supplied to him in order to either achieve the inner structure or also to serve the outer shell to protect it. Everything that man needs in his earthly existence is provided for in God's creation....

In particular every spiritual substance is withdrawn from matter as soon as it is taken up by living beings as food, therefore for the preservation of the outer form. This spiritual substance now joins the spiritual of the living being, so that in a certain period of time the spiritual again attains maturity to change into another form, which again sets greater tasks to the being. Increase of the spiritual through fusion of individual entities and maturing of these through service in God's intended sense is always and constantly the purpose of the change through all works of creation. And in the last stage as man now likewise the body, the outer form, and the soul.... the spiritual in man, must be provided with supply of spiritual substance for the purpose of perfection, and indeed now no longer what is taken up by the body as food benefits both.... the body and the soul.... but it is again up to the will of man whether the soul also receives spiritual nourishment at the same time. And indeed, this nourishment must be offered to it in addition to the purely bodily nourishment and must also be thought of at the same time as the soul receives the latter, so that the latter also serves the increase of spiritual substance in addition to the preservation of the body. The human soul can therefore be considered in two ways.... the spiritual in the form can be extraordinarily increased through the right reception of natural food and drink, and this increased spiritual can again reach an extraordinarily high degree of maturity through the supply of spiritual food.... through the word of God.... reach an extraordinarily high degree of maturity, so that the outer form has now fulfilled its last purpose, therefore the spiritual no longer needs such for higher development, but has reached the goal that was set for it for the earthly career and therefore soars up into light heights without any outer fetters. Extraordinarily much can be achieved in the last stage of development, but free will is always the reason for this, since it is now up to the human being himself to shape his soul, everything spiritual in him, but the success of the endeavour is also extraordinarily valuable, for it is complete liberation from the form....

Alimento espiritual y físico....

Las necesidades de cuerpo y del alma son completamente diferentes entre sí. Para mantenerse, el cuerpo necesita aquellos nutrientes que se toman del reino terrenal.... las cosas terrenas, por tanto, deben nutrirse de cosas terrenales para poder existir, es decir, está en la voluntad divina que el cuerpo terrenal del hombre también depende en cierta medida de las creaciones de Dios bajo Sus órdenes, que a su vez cumplen su tarea terrenal sirviendo al mantenimiento del cuerpo humano. El hombre nunca puede liberarse de estas obras de la creación, que de otro modo serían aparentemente insignificantes; las necesita absolutamente y, por lo tanto, depende en cierta medida de todo lo que contribuye a la conservación de su vida terrenal.

Y esto es dispuesto sabiamente por el eterno Creador, de este modo Él ha establecido la conexión entre todo lo espiritual, todo en la creación es necesario y, en consecuencia, nada carece de propósito.... Lo espiritual en cada obra de creación siempre empuja hacia lo espiritual a lo que está destinado a servir. Y la conexión de todo lo espiritual siempre está relacionada con la liberación de la antigua forma. Entonces servir a lo espiritual significa también su redención....

La fusión de lo espiritual de una forma y de la otra también significa una mayor actividad, es decir, estar al servicio de los seres humanos que necesitan esta obra de creación. El cuerpo humano necesita muchas cosas durante su vida y todas ellas deben serle proporcionadas al cuerpo para que sirvan al propósito de la estructura interna o proteger la capa exterior. Todo lo que el hombre necesita en su existencia terrenal está provista en la creación de Dios.

En particular, la materia queda privada de toda sustancia espiritual tan pronto como es consumida por los seres vivos como alimento, es decir, para mantener su forma externa. Esta sustancia espiritual se asocia ahora con la espiritual del ser vivo, de modo que dentro de un cierto periodo de tiempo lo espiritual alcanza nuevamente la madurez para pasar a otra forma, que nuevamente impone tareas mayores al ser. El incremento de lo espiritual a través de la fusión de los seres individuales y la maduración de estos a través del servicio en el sentido que Dios quiere, es siempre y constantemente el propósito de caminar a través de todas las obras de la creación.

Y en la etapa final como ser humano, el cuerpo, la forma externa y el alma.... lo espiritual en el hombre.... también debe ser considerado con el suministro de sustancias espirituales con el propósito de la perfección, y ahora ya no es sólo lo que el cuerpo ingiere como alimento lo que beneficia a ambos.... tanto al alma como al cuerpo.... sino que ahora depende de la voluntad del hombre si el alma también recibe alimento al mismo tiempo. Este alimento debe ofrecerse al alma además del alimento puramente físico y también debe tenerse en cuenta a la hora de aceptar este último, de modo que además de mantener el cuerpo, sirva también para aumentar la sustancia espiritual.

Por tanto, el alma humana puede considerarse de dos maneras.... lo espiritual en la forma puede incrementarse extraordinariamente mediante la ingesta adecuada de alimentos y bebidas naturales. Y este espiritual, que aumentó, puede volver a alcanzar un grado extraordinariamente alto de madurez mediante el suministro de alimento espiritual.... a través de la Palabra de Dios.... de modo que la forma externa ha cumplido su objetivo final, de modo que lo espiritual ya no necesita nada parecido para su desarrollo superior, sino que ha logrado el objetivo que se le había fijado para su carrera terrenal y, por lo tanto, se eleva a alturas radiantes sin restricciones de grilletes externas. En la última etapa de desarrollo se puede lograr mucho, pero el libre albedrío siempre es la razón de esto, ya que ahora corresponde al hombre mismo formar su alma, todo lo espiritual lo que hay en él, pero el éxito del esfuerzo es también extremadamente valioso, porque es la liberación completa de la forma....
