Negative attitude.... desert.... seed....

The negative attitude towards the work of the divine spirit corresponds entirely to a barren region, a desert. The soil cannot provide nourishment for any plant and therefore nothing can grow unless industrious labourers dare to cultivate the soil, which requires unspeakable patience and perseverance and, not least, blessing from above. It is the same with people to whom the gospel is constantly preached, but where it falls on stony ground.... because everything that divine love sends to such people is ignored and cannot reach the soul until the lord's labourers arrive and prepare the ground with the greatest effort, patience and love to receive the seed that is to bear a thousandfold fruit.... The human mind is like a barren wasteland, turned solely towards earthly life but averse to everything spiritual. And the sun, whose rays are life-awakening, can shine incessantly, it will never succeed in bringing forth a plant from the stony rubble...., just as a person's highest spiritual knowledge would not suffice to want to transfer it to a rejecting, unprepared human being who accepts the divine words indifferently but never ponders them deep in his heart...., which is the field that is to receive the seed.... ponders. And so it is hard work, and yet it must be tackled.... all labourers who are in the service of the lord must work to ensure that the fallow ground is made fertile, and the creator's love for His creatures must be held up to them with unspeakable patience until they lend a hand of their own accord and endeavour to ensure that the divine seed continues to spread. And this will sprout forth very delicately and will overgrow all previously lifeless and dead rock, and the labour, love and patience of the workers will be blessed, for new life will arise from the former desert of ignorance. And the lord will bless the labourers who, for His sake, undertook the unspeakably great work and thereby led so many souls to knowledge and who, although their work seemed almost hopeless, did not tire and reclaimed barren, unfruitful land.... i.e. conveyed true knowledge to ignorant, God-rejecting people and thus contributed to the fact that those people no longer remained dead and lifeless in spirit....

Predisposizione negativa - Desertificazione - Il chicco di semenza

La predisposizione negativa verso l’Agire dello Spirito divino corrisponde del tutto ad una regione sterile, ad un deserto. Il terreno non può garantire il nutrimento a nessuna pianta, e nulla può sorgere, finché degli operai ferventi non osano la fertilizzazione del terreno, cosa che richiede indicibile pazienza e perseveranza ed infine una Benedizione dall’Alto. Proprio così stanno le cose con gli uomini, ai quali viene predicato in continuazione il Vangelo, ma dove cade sul suolo pietroso, perché tutto ciò che l’Amore divino fa giungere a tali uomini, viene lasciato inosservato e non può giungere all’anima, finché non vi si trovano degli operai del Signore e con la più grande fatica, pazienza ed amore preparano il terreno per l’accoglienza della semenza, che deve portare frutti a migliaia. Il pensare umano somiglia ad una devastazione desertica, che è rivolta solo alla vita terrena, ma non a tutto lo spirituale. Ed il sole può splendere in continuazione, i cui raggi risvegliano alla vita, a loro non riuscirà mai a far uscire una pianta dai ciottoli pietrosi, come anche comparabilmente non basterebbe nemmeno la conoscenza più altamente spirituale di un uomo, voler trasferire la stessa su un essere umano non preparato che rifiuta, che accoglie non partecipe le Parole divine, ma che non soppesa mai profondamente nel cuore, che è il campo che deve accogliere la semenza. Ed è quindi un difficile lavoro e malgrado ciò dev’essere intrapreso, tutti gli operai che stanno nel Servizio del Signore, si devono adoperare per questo, affinché il terreno incolto venga reso fertile, e con indicibile pazienza dev’essere tenuto davanti alle creature l’Amore del Creatore, finché loro stessi mettono mano e si sforzano di provvedere alla preparazione ulteriore del divino chicco di semenza. E questo germoglierà del tutto delicatamente e soverchierà tutta la pietraia finora senza vita e morta, e sarà benedetta la fatica, l’amore e la pazienza degli operai, perché sorgerà nuova vita dal deserto dell’ignoranza di una volta. Ed il Signore benedirà gli operai, che per amore per Lui hanno intrapreso l’indicibile grande lavoro e con ciò hanno guidato molte anime alla conoscenza e che, anche se il loro agire sembrava quasi senza risultato, non si sono stancati ed hanno reso coltivabile un terreno incolto, deserto, cioè hanno trasmesso la vera conoscenza ad uomini che hanno rifiutato Dio e quindi hanno contribuito, affinché quegli uomini non rimanessero più morti ed inermi nello spirito.
