Childlike relationship.... form prayer.... language of the heart....

Anyone who feels called to serve the lord and constantly asks for His grace is approached by the lord in every way, for he testifies to his will to work for God and thus also draws God's love through his will. And in prayer for strength he confesses his weakness before the lord, and his relationship with God is that of a child.... and the father in heaven asks for nothing more. Not for a single moment in his life on earth does such a child consider himself arrogant. With a humble and loving heart he is grateful to the father in heaven for every gift of grace and therefore remains a true child before God, Who protects him from every spiritual decline.... For once someone has entered into this right relationship with Him, he can no longer go astray, i.e. be spiritually arrogant towards the father in heaven. For through his humble plea for God's grace he attains wisdom, and all wisdom makes him regocnize the greatness of the father in heaven more and more and makes him ever more humble and desirous of love. And therefore all spiritual knowledge, all higher development and attainment of the state of perfection always has the human being's childlike relationship with the father as a prerequisite, and prayer in spirit and in truth is in turn the visible sign that the earthly child has entered into this relationship with the father. Yet the lord pays no attention to formal prayers, for they kill any feeling of love.... He cannot pray in spirit and in truth who uses prescribed words which do not come from the bottom of his heart, for they do not reflect his own thinking but the thinking of others.... The human being should express himself to the father in the most intimate bond with Him as his heart feels, he should truly regard the father as father and come to Him with all his little worries and concerns, and precisely this intimate contact (with the father) will trigger true devotion, and such a prayer will not be a mere form.... For God gave people the intellect for this purpose, that they should be active themselves and send their spirit upwards. If man makes use of a form, his heart does not speak to the father, but he again only fulfils a duty imposed on him, and this prayer cannot have the right value before God, since the father wants to be called upon as father and hear the voice of His child in the most childlike way.... simply, intimately and fully trusting in the love and omnipotence of the one to Whom the prayer is addressed....

Relación infantil.... Oración formal.... Lenguaje del corazón....

Quien se siente llamado a servir al Señor y continuamente pide Su gracia, el Señor se le acerca en todos los sentidos, porque muestra su voluntad de obrar para Dios y, por lo tanto, atrae por la voluntad también el amor de Dios. Y en la oración por fuerza confiesa su debilidad ante el Señor, y la relación entre él y a Dios es la de un niño.... y más no pide el Padre Celestial. Tal hijo no se considera ni un solo momento en su vida terrenal de espíritu arrogante.

Es de corazón humilde y amoroso que agradece al Padre Celestial por cada don de gracia y, por lo tanto, sigue siendo un hijo justo ante Dios, Quien lo protege de cualquier retroceso espiritual.... porque quien una vez haya establecido esta relación con Él ya no puede perderse, es decir, ser espiritualmente arrogante con el Padre Celestial. Porque a través de su humilde suplicación por la gracia de Dios, él llega a la sabiduría, y toda la sabiduría le deja reconocer la grandeza del Padre Celestial cada vez más y siempre le hace más humilde y amoroso.

Y es por eso que todo el conocimiento espiritual, todo desarrollo superior y alcanzar el estado de perfección siempre tiene la relación infantil del hombre con el Padre como requisito previo y, la oración en el espíritu y la verdad es nuevamente la señal visible de que el niño de la tierra ha entrado en esta relación con el Padre.

Pero el Señor no presta atención a las oraciones formales porque estas matan todos los sentimientos de amor.... no puede orar en el espíritu y la verdad, que se sirve de palabras prescritas que no provienen del fondo del corazón, porque no reflejan el pensamiento propio, sino un pensamiento ajeno....

El hombre debe expresarse en la conexión más íntima con el Padre, como lo siente en su corazón, verdaderamente debe considerar al Padre como un padre y acudir a Él con todas sus pequeñas preocupaciones y asuntos, y este contacto muy íntimo con el Padre desencadenará una verdadera devoción y esa oración no será una mera forma.... porque por eso Dios dio a los hombres el entendimiento de que deberían activos ellos mismos y enviar su espíritu hacia la altura.

Si el hombre se sirve de una forma, no es el corazón que habla al Padre, sino que solo cumple de nuevo con un deber que le han impuesto, y esta oración ante Dios no puede tener el valor correcto, el Padre quiere ser llamado como padre y escuchar la voz de Su hijo de la manera más infantil.... simple, íntimo y totalmente confiando en el amor y la omnipotencia de Aquel, a Quien está dirigida la oración....
