'Vengeance is Mine....' Revenge....

'Vengeance is Mine....' says the Lord.... and therefore you should not exact vengeance, instead you should make an effort to repay evil with good and not think about how you can revenge yourselves for the wrong done to you. For anyone who suffers injustice and never entertains vengeful thoughts is gentle minded and patient, and his will endeavours to eliminate injustice by doing nothing in order to obtain satisfaction for himself. And this is an immense advancement for the soul.... It is certainly very difficult to be unjustly treated and yet consider the enemy with love, nevertheless, it is extraordinarily beneficial.... The human being should always bear in mind that every feeling of revenge shrouds the soul in darkness, that it can never become light and clear in a human soul where there is still room for thoughts of revenging the evil done by the other person. For such thoughts will inevitably lead to feelings of unkindness and thus spiritual weakness. And the human being cannot be lovingly active if he does not put a stop to such thoughts in him. For animosity is a tribute to the opponent.... Anyone who lives in animosity with his neighbour has already granted the evil power every right over him. Every feeling of hatred and vengeance must be banished from the heart, for it will lead to other unclean thoughts, just as, vice versa, a devout and gentle character is only ever concerned about not doing wrong to anyone, and that all injustice must be left to the responsibility of the divine Lord Himself. For only the Lord can judge the blame of two partners and what gave rise to the enmity. So if in earthly life hatred and discord seem to prevail, the human being must especially try to eliminate these bad habits.... It is not enough for a person to anxiously avoid an argument.... he must aim to adapt himself to the other person where possible and change hostile feelings into the opposite. The success of such intention will be felt so indescribably beneficially, all hatred will end since love, gentleness and patience will take its place, and the person will experience an inner sense of satisfaction if he tries, where possible, to undo all injustice done to him with the weapon of love.... Love disarms all anger, vindictiveness and the urge for revenge.... Love reduced the feeling of suffering injustice and will never consider retribution, for it strives for spiritual perfection and for this every degrading thought has to be excluded first, and the Lord will take abode where the human being rises above himself and the heart has transformed itself to love, gentleness and patience, for this is the inevitable basic condition for the Lord to reveal Himself and thus also practise patience with His children.... Human revenge and retribution are not permissible where the soul wants to liberate itself from its chains.... therefore, hand everything over to the Lord, for He is pure Love Itself and will exact vengeance according to the law of love.... Likewise, you, too, should make an effort to practise love among each other and always and forever fulfil the Lord's will, Who cautions you against judging your fellow human beings' unkindness too harshly....

“Mia è la vendetta.... ” La retribuzione

“La vendetta è Mia”, dice il Signore e così non dovete esercitare nessuna ritorsione, dovete piuttosto adoperarvi per retribuire il male con il bene e non studiare come poter restituire l’ingiustizia fattavi, perché chi subisce l’ingiustizia e non sente nessun pensiero di vendetta, il suo sentimento è mite e paziente e la sua volontà si sforza di portare fuori dal mondo l’ingiustizia non facendo nulla per procurarsi soddisfazione. Questo è un immenso progresso per l’anima. Far passare su di sé pazientemente l’ingiustizia e ciononostante pensare con amore al nemico è ben più difficile, ma oltremodo ricco di benedizione. L’uomo deve sempre ricordare che ogni sentimento di vendetta avvolge l’anima nell’oscurità, che non può mai farsi Luce e Chiarezza nell’anima di un uomo, dove c’è ancora spazio per pensare alla ritorsione del male al prossimo, perché in tali sorgono irrevocabilmente i pensieri del sentimento di disamore e quindi è debolezza spirituale. L’uomo, che offre a tali pensieri l’accesso in sé non può essere attivo amorevolmente ed ogni animosità dev’essere superata. Quando una volta è sorta, perché l’animosità è il tributo dell’avversario, costui vive nell’animosità con il suo prossimo, ed ha già concesso moltissimo diritto al potere maligno. Ogni sentimento di odio e di vendetta dev’essere bandito dal cuore, perché questo ha per conseguenza ancora altri pensieri lordi, come viceversa un animo pio, soave è soltanto intenzionato, affinché a nessuno capiti l’ingiustizia e che ogni ingiustizia dev’essere lasciata al divino Signore Stesso per la responsabilità; perché il Signore Solo può misurare quale colpa riguarda due partners e con cui era stata congiurata l’animosità. Se quindi nella vita terrena è apparentemente in sovrappeso l’odio ed il disaccordo, l’uomo deve provare su di sé di togliere dal mondo proprio questi difetti. Non basta che l’uomo eviti timorosamente una lite, egli stesso deve cercare di adeguarsi possibilmente all’altro ed invertire nel contrario dei sentimenti animosi. Il successo di un tale intento sarà percettibile in modo molto benevolo, ogni odio cesserà ed al suo posto verranno l’amore, la mansuetudine e la pazienza ed avrà una sensazione di soddisfazione interiore l’uomo, che cerca di rendere non avvenuta tutta l’ingiustizia che lo riguarda, dove questo è possibile attraverso l’arma dell’amore. L’amore indebolisce la sensazione di soffrire l’ingiustizia e non studierà mai una retribuzione, perché il suo tendere è la perfezione spirituale, e per questa deve dapprima essere escluso ogni pensiero ignobile ed il Signore prenderà dimora dove l’uomo si supera ed il cuore è cambiato nell’amore, nella mansuetudine e nella pazienza, perché questa è inevitabilmente la Condizione di base, affinché il Signore Stesso Si riveli e quindi eserciti anche la Pazienza sui Suoi figli. Dove l’anima si vuole liberare dalle sue catene, non sono ammissibili da parte umana la vendetta e la ritorsione, perciò consegnate tutto al Signore, perché Egli in Sé E’ puro Amore ed eserciterà la retribuzione secondo la Legge dell’Amore. Per lo stesso dovete adoperarvi anche voi, di esercitare l’amore reciproco ed adempiere sempre e costantemente la Volontà del Signore, il Quale vi avverte ad un giudizio troppo severo sul disamore dei vostri prossimi.
