'Vengeance is Mine....' Revenge....

'Vengeance is Mine....' says the Lord.... and therefore you should not exact vengeance, instead you should make an effort to repay evil with good and not think about how you can revenge yourselves for the wrong done to you. For anyone who suffers injustice and never entertains vengeful thoughts is gentle minded and patient, and his will endeavours to eliminate injustice by doing nothing in order to obtain satisfaction for himself. And this is an immense advancement for the soul.... It is certainly very difficult to be unjustly treated and yet consider the enemy with love, nevertheless, it is extraordinarily beneficial.... The human being should always bear in mind that every feeling of revenge shrouds the soul in darkness, that it can never become light and clear in a human soul where there is still room for thoughts of revenging the evil done by the other person. For such thoughts will inevitably lead to feelings of unkindness and thus spiritual weakness. And the human being cannot be lovingly active if he does not put a stop to such thoughts in him. For animosity is a tribute to the opponent.... Anyone who lives in animosity with his neighbour has already granted the evil power every right over him. Every feeling of hatred and vengeance must be banished from the heart, for it will lead to other unclean thoughts, just as, vice versa, a devout and gentle character is only ever concerned about not doing wrong to anyone, and that all injustice must be left to the responsibility of the divine Lord Himself. For only the Lord can judge the blame of two partners and what gave rise to the enmity. So if in earthly life hatred and discord seem to prevail, the human being must especially try to eliminate these bad habits.... It is not enough for a person to anxiously avoid an argument.... he must aim to adapt himself to the other person where possible and change hostile feelings into the opposite. The success of such intention will be felt so indescribably beneficially, all hatred will end since love, gentleness and patience will take its place, and the person will experience an inner sense of satisfaction if he tries, where possible, to undo all injustice done to him with the weapon of love.... Love disarms all anger, vindictiveness and the urge for revenge.... Love reduced the feeling of suffering injustice and will never consider retribution, for it strives for spiritual perfection and for this every degrading thought has to be excluded first, and the Lord will take abode where the human being rises above himself and the heart has transformed itself to love, gentleness and patience, for this is the inevitable basic condition for the Lord to reveal Himself and thus also practise patience with His children.... Human revenge and retribution are not permissible where the soul wants to liberate itself from its chains.... therefore, hand everything over to the Lord, for He is pure Love Itself and will exact vengeance according to the law of love.... Likewise, you, too, should make an effort to practise love among each other and always and forever fulfil the Lord's will, Who cautions you against judging your fellow human beings' unkindness too harshly....

“La venganza es Mía....”

“Mía es la venganza ”, dice el Señor.... y así no debéis vengaros, sino más bien debéis esforzaros en devolver el mal por el bien, y no penséis en cómo podéis devolver la injusticia que se os han hecho. Porque quien sufre injusticia y nunca alberga pensamientos de venganza, su mente es dulce y paciente, y su voluntad se esfuerza por eliminar la injusticia del mundo sin hacer nada para obtener una satisfacción. Y esto es un tremendo progreso para el alma....

Soportar con paciencia la injusticia y aún recordar al enemigo con amor probablemente es muy difícil, pero extremadamente beneficioso.... El hombre siempre debe tener en cuenta que todo pensamiento de venganza envuelve el alma en tinieblas, que nunca puede volverse ligero y claro en el alma de una persona, donde todavía hay lugar para pensamientos de venganza por el mal sobre el prójimo. Porque tales pensamientos van inevitablemente acompañados del sentimiento de falta de amor, es decir, de debilidad espiritual. Y el ser humano que no pone frenos a tales pensamientos en sí mismo no puede ser amorosamente activo.

Cualquier enemistad debe ser superada una vez que ha surgido.... Porque la enemistad es el tributo del adversario.... cualquiera que vive en enemistad con su prójimo, ya le ha dado al poder del mal una gran cantidad de poder sobre sí mismo. Todo sentimiento de odio y venganza debe ser desterrado del corazón, porque esto también atrae a otros pensamientos sucios, así como, por el contrario, una mente piadosa y gentil solo se preocupa de que nadie sea agraviado y que todo lo malo tiene que dejarse a la responsabilidad del divino Señor Mismo. Porque solo el Señor puede juzgar, qué culpa recae en dos socios y qué provocó la enemistad.

Entonces, si el odio y la discordia parecen dominar en la vida terrenal, el ser humano de tratar de deshacerse en sí mismo, precisamente de estos vicios.... No es suficiente que el ser humano evite ansiosamente una pelea.... él mismo debe adaptarse al otro en la medida de lo posible y convertir los sentimientos hostiles en lo contrario. El éxito de tal proyecto se sentirá de una manera tan indescriptiblemente beneficiosa, todo odio cesará, ya que el amor, la dulzura y la paciencia tomarán su lugar, y la persona tendrá un sentimiento de satisfacción interior, que trata de deshacer cada mal que le sucede, donde sea posible, a través de las armas del amor.... El amor desarma toda ira, sed de venganza y el impulso de venganza....

El amor debilita el sentimiento de sufrir la injusticia y tampoco pensará jamás en la venganza porque su afán es la perfección espiritual, y para alcanzar esta primero debe ser eliminado todo pensamiento innoble, y el Señor habitará allí donde el hombre se supera a si mismo y el corazón se ha transformado en amor, mansedumbre y paciencia, porque en esto consiste la condición básica de que el Señor Se revela y por lo tanto practica también la paciencia con Sus hijos.... La venganza y la retribución humanas no son admisibles cuando el alma quiere liberarse de su grilletes.... por tanto, entregadlo todo al Señor, porque Él es puro Amor en Sí Mismo y se vengará según la ley del amor.... También vosotros debéis esforzaros en practicar el amor entre vosotros, siempre y constantemente para cumplir la voluntad del Señor, Que os advierte que no juzguéis con demasiada severidad acerca de la falta de amor de vuestros semejantes....
