Last judgement.... divine justice....

You must think of the last judgment and try to imagine that God will judge you in all justice and repay you for your actions and thoughts on earth. Divine justice cannot absolve you, even if it is capable of infinite love, if you only bear the slightest guilt; every, even the smallest guilt must be followed by atonement wherever divine justice is to pronounce its judgement. And thus the day of judgment will also be a day of unspeakable remorse and bitterest suffering and dreadfully agonizing for all those who did not make use of their stay on earth in accordance with divine command, for they will never be able to escape the judgement. Anyone who tries to escape responsibility on earth will be inexorably called to account, and there will be no possibility left for him to cover up his deficient state, for all actions and omissions will be openly and clearly recorded in the book of life and thus will also have to be answered for. And divine justice cannot be lenient where every guilt of sin demands just punishment. And all bad and all good deeds will be weighed against each other, and the scales of the court will tilt to the side of the preponderance, and therefore the sentence will be passed in all justice, and good for him whose bad deeds do not have the preponderance.... good for him whose verdict does not mean: weighed and found wanting.... Those who commit themselves to God the lord on earth will have nothing to fear on judgment day, their every step on earth was pleasing to God, they always recognized the father in Him and therefore no longer need to fear the hour of judgment, for in the awareness of a correctly accomplished life there is no room for fear in the heart, and such an earthly child approaches the day of judgment without fear. On the other hand, it is unspeakably sad to see dear, close people having to answer for themselves and not being able to avert their fate for the time being, for divine justice demands of every human being that he takes upon himself his punishment and fate in the beyond, and this cannot be handed over to another spiritual being at will, since this does not correspond to the sense of justice and thus cannot ever be approved by the divine lord that a being should escape its deserved punishment and that a pure being would then have to go through the state of suffering instead of it. Thus the day of judgment will trigger happiness and bliss as well as the most bitter disgrace and suffering, yet eternal justice will not allow any being to suffer undeservedly or to be undeservedly happy.... The way of life on earth alone is always decisive as to whether the fate of the judged is bearable or unbearable, and everyone will seriously endeavour to make use of life in such a way that works of love and fulfilment of the commandments will have a particularly strong impact and thus the righteous judgment will not result in horror and despair. For the heavenly father is a just judge, and every good deed, but also every omission, will find its rightful retribution in the hereafter....

마지막 심판. 하나님의 공의.

너희는 마지막 심판을 생각해야 한다. 너희는 하나님이 모든 공의로 너희를 심판하고, 이 땅에서 너희의 행동과 생각에 대해 보상해 주실 것이라고 생각해야 한다. 하나님의 공의가 무한한 사랑을 할 수 있다 할지라도, 너희가 가장 죄라도 짖는다면, 하나님의 공의는 너희를 용서할 수 없다. 모든 죄는, 심지어 가장 작은 죄라도 하나님의 공의가 심판을 선포하는 곳에서 속죄를 해야만 한다.

그러므로 심판의 날은 또한 이 땅에 거하는 일을 하나님의 계명에 따라 활용하지 않은 모든 사람에게 말할 수 없는 후회와 아주 큰 고통의 날이 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그들이 심판대의 판결을 피할 수 없기 때문이다. 누구든지 이 땅에서 책임을 회피하려고 애쓰는 사람은 누구나 엄격하게 책임을 지게 될 것이다. 그는 자신의 부족한 상태를 숨길 수 있는 가능성을 찾지 못할 것이다. 왜냐하면 모든 것이 생명책에 공개적이고 명확하게 기록되어 있고, 그러므로 이에 대한 책임을 져야만 하기 때문이다. 모든 죄짐이 정당한 형벌을 요구하는 곳에서 하나님의 공의가 관용을 베풀 수 없다.

모든 악행과 모든 선행은 서로를 비교하여 평가를 받을 것이다. 법정의 저울의 비늘이 무거운 쪽으로 기울어 질 것이다. 그러므로 모든 공의로 판결이 이뤄질 것이다. 실제 악행이 많지 않는 사람에게 복이 있을 것이다. 달아보았더니 무게가 충분하지 않다는 그의 판결을 받지 않은 사람에게 복이 있을 것이다. 이 땅에서 주 하나님께 자신을 의탁한 사람은 마지막 날에 두려워할 것이 없다. 그들의 이 땅의 행보는 모든 발걸음 마다 하나님을 기쁘게 했고, 항상 자신 안의 아버지를 인정했다. 그러므로 그들은 더 이상 심판의 시간을 두려워할 필요가 없다. 왜냐하면 완전히 완성된 삶을 살았다는 의식을 가진 사람의 심장 안에 두려움이 차지할 자리가 없고, 그런 이 땅의 자녀는 두려움없이 심판의 날을 맞이하기 때문이다.

반면에 그들이 이전에 그들의 운명을 바꿀 수 없었던, 사랑스러운 가까운 사람들이 책임을 져야만 하는 일을 보는 일은 말할 수 없게 슬픈 일이다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 공의가 모든 사람에게 그가 자신의 형벌과 저세상에서 자신의 운명을 받아드리는 일을 요구하기 때문이다. 이런 요구를 마음대로 다른 영의 존재에게 전가할 수 없다. 그런 일은 공의의 감각과 일치하지 않기 때문이다. 다시 말해 어떤 존재가 벌어드린 형벌을 피하고, 그 대신에 순수한 존재가 고난의 상태를 체험해야만 하는 일은 주 하나님의 승인을 결코 받을 수 없기 때문이다.

그러므로 심판의 날은 행복과 기쁨을 일으키고, 쓰라린 수치와 고통을 일으킬 것이다. 그러나 영원한 공의가 어떤 존재도 합당하지 않은 고통을 받게 하거나, 합당하지 않은 축복을 받는 일을 허용하지 않을 것이다. 심판 받는 자의 운명이 견딜만 하게 될지, 견딜 수 없게 될지는 유일하게 이 땅의 삶의 방식이 항상 결정적이다. 모든 사람이 삶을 활용하려고 진지하게 노력할 것이다. 이로써 사랑하는 일과 계명을 성취하는 일이 특별히 아주 중요한 일이 되게 하고, 그러므로 공의한 심판이 공포와 절망을 초래하지 않게 할 것이다. 왜냐하면 하늘의 아버지는 공의로운 재판관이고, 모든 선행과 또한 모든 하지 않은 일에 대해 저세상에서 올바른 보상을 해주기 때문이다.
