God's work of education.... spiritual inertia.... purpose of sufferings....

You, who still live on earth, are approaching a time which will be unspeakably painful for you and you will have to assert yourselves in the face of all the hardship you are destined to experience. What the creator of heaven and earth allows is only ever a means by which He wants to spare His living creations the spiritual suffering one day, which will have far more painful effects in the beyond and which the human being can avert if he humbly accepts the suffering on earth and emerges from it purified and matured in soul. Man in his short-sightedness, which is the result of faithlessness, cannot comprehend the work of education of the heavenly father. He grumbles and complains and is not infrequently inclined to deny an eternal deity altogether because the work of Him seems incomprehensible to him. And he does not recognize the love and patience of his creator Who has to choose this path because His loving admonitions and words from above are not listened to, and time has become ever more serious, the human being ever more sluggish in his spiritual work and only ever concerned with fulfilling earthly duties, regardless of how this fulfilment of duty affects the soul. Now the spiritual world must also be extremely active and must in turn give people on earth evidence of its activity in and around it. For man no longer finds the connection to his creator. A tremendous shaking of his principles of life must first force man to think again about his 'self ', his origin and his end. In a completely calm time there is only a greater danger of living in spiritual inertia, but where the human being is forced to carry burdens of whatever kind he ultimately asks himself what meaning underlies his whole life and which path he could take in order to be relieved of earthly worries and suffering. And then he will certainly timidly grasp the father’s hand which is lovingly offered to him and which first wants to snatch him from the spiritual hardship of the soul. This purpose is the only reason for all the coming time of suffering....

Obra educativa de Dios.... Inercia mental.... Propósito del sufrimiento....

Vosotros, que todavía camináis sobre la tierra, os acercáis a un tiempo que será indeciblemente doloroso para vosotros, y tendréis que afirmaros frente a todas las dificultades que os tocarán. Lo que el Creador del cielo y de la tierra permite es siempre sólo un medio por el cual quiere ahorrar un día a Sus criaturas el sufrimiento mental, que tiene efectos mucho más dolorosos en el más allá y que el hombre puede evitar cuando acepta con devoción el sufrimiento terrenal y sale de eso purificado y madurado en el alma.

El hombre en su estrechez de miras, que es la consecuencia de la incredulidad, no puede comprender la obra educativa del Padre celestial. Murmura y se queja y no pocas veces se inclina a negar por completo una Deidad eterna, porque la regla de Ésta le parece incomprensible. Y no reconoce el amor y la paciencia de Su Creador, Que tiene que elegir este camino, porque no se presta atención a Sus numerosas admoniciones desde arriba, y el tiempo se ha vuelto cada vez más serio, el hombre se ha vuelto cada vez más perezoso en su trabajo espiritual y sólo se preocupa por cumplir con sus deberes terrenales, sin importar cómo este cumplimiento de los deberes afecta al alma.

Ahora el mundo espiritual también ser extremadamente activo y debe ahora, por su parte, dar a las personas en la tierra pruebas de su obra en y alrededor de ellas. Porque el hombre ya no encuentra la conexión con su Creador. Una poderosa ruptura de los principios básicos de su vida debe primero obligar al hombre a pensar de nuevo en su “yo”, su principio y su final. En un tiempo completamente tranquillo el peligro de vivir al día en la inercia mental es aún mucho mayor, pero donde se imponen al hombre cargas de cualquier tipo, él todavía se pregunta finalmente en qué sentido se basa toda la vida y cuál es el camino que podría tomar para deshacerse de las preocupaciones y sufrimientos terrenales. Y entonces probablemente toma tímidamente la mano del Padre que se le ofrece amorosamente, que primero le quiere arrebatar de la necesidad espiritual del alma. Este propósito es la única justificación para todo el tiempo venidero de sufrimiento....
