Transformation of the outer forms.... change of the spiritual....

Just as a constant transformation of all forms takes place on earth, just as nothing constantly remains in the same form, so all spiritual beings sheltering in form must also experience the same transformation which, although it is not visible to the human eye, is clearly recognizable in the spiritual world. The spiritual beings very soon notice when such a spiritual transformation upwards takes place and use every opportunity to promote this higher development by lovingly taking care of the spiritual being striving upwards. Again, it can only be explained that all spirit bearers on earth, i.e. all matter and all living beings, always show spiritual progress when they allow themselves to be mentally influenced by higher spiritual strength, for then a united, thus strengthened spiritual strength is active and as such has correspondingly greater success to record. Wherever a spirit bearer is favourably influenced he must strive upwards, and everything striving upwards unites again, as it were, and contributes to the increase of spiritual strength.... A substance which is enlarged in such a way must understandably also have a form externally adapted to it, which is why every transformation of the spirit also necessitates the transformation of the external form. And thus, to a certain extent, it is clearly recognizable in all works of creation to what extent the spiritual substance is inherent in them, for the outer form will also be correspondingly larger and more perfect the more developed its soul, i.e. everything spiritual in it, is. It is now also understandable to the human being why the body, i.e. the human being's fleshly body, has many similarities with the already fairly developed animal bodies, for the soul is already so far formed in the latter that it only needs to unite with the substances it lacks in order to be able to fully meet the demands which are demanded of it for embodiment as a human being, which is why the human being's external form also unites, as it were, everything which has been taken from every form it has passed through so far. It is not possible for the human being on earth to comprehend this, for there are countless entities or soul particles which have formed themselves into a whole during their stay on earth.... but the human being does not possess the ability to intellectually think through all stages of his development, nor does he have the capacity to comprehend the versatility and creative ability of a human soul.... He will certainly be able to be convinced with good will that the soul has attained human form through endless transformation, but he will never be able to grasp this spiritual miracle in all its greatness and sublimity as long as he remains on earth....

외형의 변화. 영적인 변화.

이 땅에서 모든 형체에 끊임없는 변화가 일어나는 것처럼, 어떤 것도 같은 형체로 영구적으로 남아 있는 것은 아무것도 없는 것처럼, 그 형체에 감추어진 모든 영적인 입자들도 또한 인간의 눈에 보이지 않게 일어나는, 그러나 영의 세계에서는 분명하게 보이는, 같은 변화를 경험해야만 한다. 영의 존재들은 이런 영적 변화가 일어날 때 이를 곧 깨닫고, 영적으로 높이 성장하기 위해 투쟁하는 존재를 충만한 사랑으로 돌보면서, 더 높은 성장을 하도록 지원하기 위한 모든 가능성을 활용한다.

다시 말해, 이 땅의 모든 영의 운반자들이, 즉 모든 물질과 모든 생명체가 더 높은 영의 세력에 의해 생각을 통해 영향을 받게 할 때, 항상 영적 성장을 이뤄야만 하는 일을 단시 설명할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 연합이 된, 그러므로 증가한 영의 힘이 역사하고, 이에 합당하게 더 큰 성공을 거두기 때문이다. 영을 담은 사람이 좋은 영향을 받는 곳에서 그는 위를 향해 추구해야만 한다. 위를 추구하는 사람들은 다시 연합하여 영의 힘의 증가에 이바지한다. 이러한 방식으로 증가한 입자들은 또한 외적으로 자신들에게 합당한 형태를 가져야만 한다. 그러므로 모든 영의 변형은 외부 형태의 변형을 요구한다.

따라서 모든 창조 작품에서 영적인 입자가 어느 정도까지 존재하는지는 어느 정도 명확하게 깨달을 수 있다. 왜냐하면 겉 형체의 혼이 더 성장할수록, 다시 말해 혼 안의 모든 영적인 입자들이 더욱 성장할수록, 이에 합당하게 겉 형체도 더 크고, 더 완벽하기 때문이다. 왜 육체가, 즉 인간의 몸이 이미 상당히 발달한 동물의 몸과 여러 면에서 유사성을 보이는지, 사람은 이제 이해할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 혼은 이미 이 전의 형체에서 형성되어있기 때문에, 인간으로 육신을 입기 위해 혼에 요구되는 사항을 완전히 충족할 수 있으려면, 혼에 부족한 혼의 입자의 결합만이 필요하기 때문이다. 그러므로 인간의 겉 형체는 지금까지 거쳐왔던 모든 형태에서 취해진 모든 영적인 입자들이 하나가 된 것이다.

이 땅의 인간에게 이를 이해하는 일은 주어지지 않는다. 왜냐하면 이 땅에 머무르는 동안 전체적으로 형성된 셀 수 없이 많은 존재나 혼의 입자들이 있지만, 그러나 인간은 자신이 거친 모든 단계를 이성적으로 생각할 능력이 없고, 또한 인간 혼의 다재다능함과 창의적인 능력을 파악할 수 없기 때문이다. 그는 선한 의지로 혼이 끝없는 변화를 통해 인간의 형체에 도달했음을 확신하게 될 것이다. 그러나 그가 이 땅에 머무르는 한 모든 크기로 이런 숭고한 영적인 기적을 결코 파악할 수 없을 것이다.
