Path of the soul before earthly existence.... doctrine of reincarnation....

The human soul has travelled its path through thousands of embodiments of all kinds over an unimaginably long period of time. This time has brought about a certain maturity which should now lead to higher perfection in the last stage as a human being. The knowledge of this should be enough to apply the utmost strength to reach the state of perfection, but it is precisely this knowledge that is completely rejected by most people. Unfortunately, there is often the erroneous view that a soul does not first have to be formed into what it is, but is always inherent in the living being in the same way and that one can only speak of a soul in a human being if one wants to recognize something that continues to exist after death. The animal is denied any soul or spiritual substance.... and it is precisely this that leads to completely false views, in that the extremely compelling necessity of all living beings apart from humans is not recognized at all. It is therefore of the utmost importance to bear in mind the varied, indescribably frequent transformation of the outer shell in order to only then become aware of the full responsibility as a human being in earthly life. If every being was only meant to have a one-time embodiment, then the conditions of this embodiment would have to be so extraordinarily difficult if they were to lead to the state of maturity required for eternal bliss, for the distance of such a spiritual being from the eternal deity is too immeasurably great that it could be considerably reduced in such a short time. This is why the creator has intended all beings to reach this one mandatory state in which, according to divine will, every creature strives towards higher development without any responsibility of its own. To live through this preliminary stage of the human soul in all its diversity is of such immense importance that only from it arises the whole responsibility that man bears towards his soul, for this soul has struggled in the most incredible way and defied all resistance.... it has had to fulfil such infinite tasks and submit to God's will in everything, it has travelled a path which was not easy.... but which was the only way to form the soul in such a way that it can pass the last great test of strength in the human being when the will to endure becomes powerful in it. Every human being is therefore as such a world in itself.... it is a work of creation that contains everything that exists on earth and is visible to the human eye in the finest miniaturization.... the human soul has passed through all these wonders of creation and now, in its final embodiment, has to endure a tremendous struggle if the millennia-long struggle up to the stage of the human being is not to have been in vain. Man should remain fully aware of this responsibility and ask God for strength to fulfil the last task on earth and thus bring redemption to the soul from infinitely long-lasting hardship....

이 땅에 존재하기 전의 혼의 길.... 육신을 다시 입는 일에 대한 가르침....

엄청나게 오랜 기간 동안 인간의 혼은 이 전에 온갖 종류의 수천 번 육신을 입는 일을 거쳐 왔다. 이 기간 동안 어느 정도의 성장을 했고, 이런 성장은 이제 마지막 단계인 인간으로서 더 높은 완성으로 인도해야 한다. 이에 관한 지식이 온전한 상태에 도달하기 위해 최대한의 힘을 사용하게 만들기에 충분해야 한다. 그러나 대부분의 사람들이 바로 이런 지식을 완전히 거부한다.

불행하게도 자주 잘못된 견해가 있다. 잘못된 견해는 혼이 자신의 상태를 먼저 만들어야만 하는 것이 아니라, 혼이 생물체 안에 항상 같은 방식으로 존재하고, 혼을 죽음 후에도 여전히 존재하는 어떤 것으로 인정하길 원한다면, 사람 안에 있는 것만 혼이라고 할 수 있다는 견해이다. 동물에게는 어떤 혼이나 또는 영적인 입자가 없다고 여긴다. 바로 이런 관점이 인간을 제외한 모든 생명체에 아주 절대적으로 필요한 것을 전혀 깨닫지 못하는 가운데, 전적으로 잘못된 견해를 갖게 한다.

그러므로 인간으로서 이 땅의 삶에 대한 완전한 책임을 깨닫기 위해, 다양하고, 말할 수 없을 정도로 빈번한 겉형체의 변화에 주의를 기울이는 일이 가장 크게 중요하다. 모든 존재에게 단지 한번만 육신을 입는 일이 허용이 된다면, 육신을 입는 일이 영원한 행복에 필요한 성숙한 상태에 도달하려면, 육신을 입는 일에 주어진 조건은 아주 어려운 조건이 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그런 영적인 존재와 영원한 신성과의 거리가, 그렇게 짧은 시간 내에 줄일 수 있기에는, 측량할 수 없게 너무 크기 때문이다.

그러므로 창조주가 모든 존재들에게 의무의 상태를 거치게 했다. 이런 의무상태 아래서 모든 피조물이 자신의 책임없이 하나님의 뜻에 따라 더 높은 발전을 하기 위해 추구한다. 이런 인간의 혼이 거쳐야만 하는 모든 다양한 이전의 단계를 거치는 일은 매우 중요하다. 이를 통해 비로서 인간에게 자신의 혼에 대해 갖는 모든 책임이 발생하게 된다. 왜냐하면 혼이 가장 믿을 수 없게, 모든 저항을 이기고, 이 상태에 도달했기 때문이다. 혼은 그토록 끝없이 많은 과제를 완수하고, 모든 일에서 하나님의 뜻에 복종해야만 했다. 혼은 쉽지 않은 길을 택했다. 그러나 그 길은 혼을 형성하여, 혼 안에 합격하려는 의지가 강해진다면, 혼이 사람 안에서 마지막으로 큰 힘의 시험에 합격할 수 있는 유일한 방법이다.

그러므로 모든 인간이라는 존재는 자신 안에 이런 세계를 가지고 있고, 이 땅에 존재하는, 인간의 눈으로 볼 수 있는 모든 것들이 가장 미세하게 소형화된 상태로 자신 안에 담고 있다. 인간의 혼은 이러한 모든 기적과 같은 창조물의 과정을 겪었고, 마지막으로 육신을 입은 가운데, 이제 인간 단계까지 도달하기 위해 수천 년에 걸친 투쟁이 헛되지 않게 하려면, 큰 싸움에서 승리해야 만한다.

인간은 이런 책임을 충분히 깨닫는 가운데 머물러야 하고, 이 땅의 마지막 임무를 완수하기 위해, 이로써 무한히 오래 지속된 고난에서 혼을 구하기 위해 하나님께 힘을 구해야 한다.
