Countless beings would be lost if love did not come to their aid. It constantly endeavours to bring up the souls languishing there from the deepest darkness and therefore has a wide field of work. Everything that is apostate from God is seized by love in order to bring about union with God, even if it takes an infinitely long time. This beginning is all the more difficult as the opposing power also does everything in its power to prevent the redemption of the soul, but the success of love is nevertheless to be hoped for because the power of love is incomparably stronger than that of hatred and enmity. However, the souls will have to undergo difficult tests of will, as they did not pass them on earth and will now have to provide far more difficult proof of their good will in the beyond. Thus, only the will will be decisive again in the beyond and the soul will be supported. Recognizing the uselessness of its earthly life, the soul now becomes aware of its task and tries to free itself from its oppressive situation. Once it has broken through the deepest night of the spirit, it is infinitely grateful for every help granted to it in love. But without love her endeavours in the afterlife would be in vain, for it is unable to do anything on its own. Where loving spiritual beings come to meet it, again sent by God's love and mercy, an ascent into regions of light is also possible there, but only love ever brings about such, and love will certainly also be granted to a willing soul which recognizes and repents of its situation, since all work in the beyond is a continued activity of love. Yet difficulties still often arise due to the ignorance of souls in need of redemption. Anyone who was already spiritually active in earthly life has a certain school behind him which taught him the essentials and what is necessary for his soul's salvation. But those souls are often without the slightest knowledge.... they must first have a certain maturity before they can even understand their situation and their nature in relation to the eternal deity. And this ignorance is the greatest obstacle on the path to the light in the beyond. These souls must be instructed in love and patience in exactly the same way until they resolve of their own accord to integrate themselves into the divine order and, for their part, to do everything that can lead them upwards. And there are also such differently receptive beings.... Often everything offered to them in the way of instruction is brusquely rejected, and love must patiently endeavour to open up the knowledge of spiritual things to such a soul. The more mature souls follow this laborious beginning with great interest and likewise look for ways to support the endeavours of the enlightened spiritual beings. The resistance of the souls is often so great that again only the greatest poverty and a desolate situation can have a meaning-changing effect on the soul, and therefore such souls create their state of suffering themselves through their persistent rejection of the truth from enlightened heights. But just as the same diversity of people can be recognized on earth, so it is also in the beyond.... The more willing a being is, the easier it achieves inner liberation, whereas the stubborn and overly cunning worldly wise often allow a long time to pass before they are prepared to accept the wisdom from the heavens. One's own will is always an obstacle; only the subordination of the will to the divine will brings freedom of spirit. All such work in the beyond requires immense patience and therefore finds valuable support in your spiritual activity, for the souls in the beyond follow this extraordinary connection from there to earth with great interest, and their thinking is constantly stimulated by it so that they try to give themselves an explanation and thereby come much closer to the truth. Every reception is at the same time a help to the ignorant souls who turn to your activity in great numbers and thus find the path of realization sooner....

Ayuda en el más allá sólo a través del amor... Ignorancia es el mayor obstáculo... Instrucciones en amor y paciencia... Voluntad propia...

Innumerables seres se perderían si el amor no acudiera en su ayuda. El amor se esfuerza constantemente para sacar de las tinieblas más profundas las almas que languidecen y, por lo tanto, tiene un amplio campo de trabajo. Todo lo que es apostata de Dios es agarrado por el amor para lograr la reunificación con Dios, aunque en un tiempo infinitamente largo. Este comienzo es tanto más difícil cuanto que el contrapoder también hace todo lo posible para impedir la redención del alma, pero el éxito del amor aún puede esperarse porque el poder del amor es incomparablemente más fuerte que el del odio y la enemistad.

Las almas solo tendrán que pasar por difíciles pruebas de su voluntad, ya que no las pasaron en la tierra y ahora tienen que proporcionar una prueba mucho más difícil de su buena voluntad en el más allá. Allá otra vez sólo la voluntad es decisiva para promover el alma. Reconociendo la inutilidad de su vida en la tierra, el alma ahora toma conciencia de su tarea y trata de liberarse de su situación opresiva. Está infinitamente agradecida por cada ayuda que le es concedida en amor, una vez que haya roto la noche más profunda del espíritu. Pero sin amor, su lucha en el más allá sería en vano, porque por su propia fuerza no es capaz de nada. Donde los seres amorosos se acercan a ella, nuevamente mandados por el amor y la misericordia de Dios, allí también es posible un ascenso a regiones de luz, pero solo el amor consigue tal cosa, y el amor ciertamente apoyará al alma dispuesta que reconozca su situación y la lamente, porque al fin y al cabo todo trabajo en el más allá es una actividad continuada en el amor.

Pero ahora surgen a menudo dificultades debido a la ignorancia de las almas necesitadas de redención. Quien ya fue espiritualmente activo durante la vida terrenal tiene una cierta escuela detrás de él, que esencialmente le enseñó lo que era necesario para su salvación. Pero esas almas a menudo no tienen ni el más mínimo conocimiento... primero tienen que tener una cierta madurez antes de que puedan siquiera comprender su situación y naturaleza en relación con la divinidad eterna. Y esta ignorancia es el mayor obstáculo en el camino hacia la luz en el más allá. Estas almas han de ser instruidas en el amor y la paciencia exactamente de tal manera, hasta que decidan por sí mismas de subordinarse en el orden divino y desde su parte hacer todo lo posible lo que les pueda llevar a las alturas.

Y allí también hay seres con diferente receptividad... A menudo, todo lo que se les ofrece en forma de instrucciones es rechazada groseramente, y el amor tiene que tratar pacientemente de abrir el conocimiento de cosas espirituales a tal alma. Las almas ya más maduras siguen este arduo comienzo llenas de interés y también buscan posibilidades para apoyar el intento de los seres espirituales de luz. La resistencia de las almas es a veces tan grande que solo la mayor pobreza y una situación desolada pueden tener un efecto de cambio de mente en el alma, y por lo tanto tales almas crean su estado de sufrimiento ellas mismas a través de su rechazo persistente de la verdad desde las alturas claras.

Pero así como se puede reconocer la misma diversidad de persona en la tierra, así también lo es en el más allá... Cuanto más dispuesto es un ser, más fácil llegará a la liberación interior, mientras que los sabios mundanos obstinados y excesivamente astutos a menudo esperan mucho tiempo antes de estar dispuestos a aceptar la sabiduría de los cielos. La propia voluntad siempre es inhibidora, sólo la subordinación de la voluntad a la voluntad divina trae la libertad del espíritu. Cualquier trabajo como tal en el más allá requiere una paciencia inmensa y, por lo tanto, encuentra un apoyo valioso en tu actividad espiritual, porque las almas en el más allá siguen con gran interés esta conexión extraordinaria de allí a la tierra, y su pensamiento es constantemente estimulado por ella, de modo que ellas mismas intentan darse una explicación y acercarse mucho más a la verdad. Al mismo tiempo, toda la admisión es una ayuda para las almas ignorantes, que recurren a tu actividad en gran número y así les será más fácil encontrar el camino del conocimiento...
