Prayer for God's help in instructing the erring....

You will be given a ministry on earth which you should endeavour to administer properly. And as you impart the word of God to people, do not neglect to ask the lord for His blessing so that every word you speak will fall on fertile ground and the seed will sprout. For you shall begin nothing without the lord.... in His name you will succeed, and His grace will sustain you effectively. And again, you must be careful to take care of your fellow human beings who go astray in all love. You are blessed to know about God's love and His working, yet they still lack realization and thus still resist God's word, but love will soon teach them otherwise. Earthly pleasures will also soon disappoint such human children, a deceptive happiness and an often unsatisfactory existence will mature their realization, they will realize the worthlessness of everything earthly and deal with the questions which they still reject for fear of having to forfeit the beauties of life. From this often fearful rejection, a tiny seed sometimes grows into a tender little plant that takes in more and more nourishment until it has finally become viable and resilient and defies all storms, and such a seed, planted in a person's heart, can sprout and develop and flourish under the blessing of God and bear good fruit.... All opinions have to be confronted and every wrong opinion refuted, and if you are not yet able to do this in your own strength, you must call upon the lord for help, and He will immediately put the words into your mouth so that you speak powerfully and convincingly according to God's wisdom. For the lord will not forsake you who call upon Him, and wherever you fight for His name, His strength will constantly come to you with every word that applies to the winning of erring souls. How often do people find themselves in situations which make them serious and thoughtful and the question of the purpose of their earthly existence is forced upon them. In such situations they then remember the word imparted to them and thus find the connection to eternity. And therefore commend such erring ones to the grace of the lord before you try to awaken them and before you want to bring light to those who are still in darkness of spirit. With the help of the heavenly father every success will be easier to achieve, they will listen to your speeches and they will be moved in their hearts, even if no obvious agreement is recognizable at first. For the word of God Himself is power, and those who hear it without resistance are already imbued with this power.... A slight resistance, however, can be overcome with God's help, and only those who reject it with their full will cannot visibly feel the power of God.... However, their hour will also come if they have only once had the opportunity to have God's will pointed out to them. Life itself often moulds people very quickly and has all kinds of unpleasantness in store, and no event on earth is without purpose.... And God's love and mercy is always ready to intervene where a person despairs and anxiously pleads for help.... and even if the time is still far away.... the hour comes to everyone when he remembers his better self, and blessed is he who then still grasps the father's saving hand....

Gebet um Gottes Hilfe bei Belehrung der Irrenden....

Euch wird auf Erden ein Amt gegeben, das recht zu verwalten ihr euch angelegen lassen sein sollt. Und so ihr nun den Menschen das Wort Gottes vermittelt, so lasset nicht außer acht, den Herrn um Seinen Segen zu bitten, auf daß ein jedes eurer Worte auf fruchtbaren Boden falle und die Saat aufgehe. Denn ihr sollt nichts beginnen ohne den Herrn.... in Seinem Namen werdet ihr Erfolg haben, und Seine Gnade wird euch wirksam unterstützen. Und wiederum müsset ihr bedacht sein, in aller Liebe euch der irrenden Mitmenschen anzunehmen. Ihr seid begnadet, zu wissen um die Liebe Gottes und Sein Wirken, doch jenen fehlt noch die Erkenntnis, und so setzen sie dem Wort Gottes noch Widerstand entgegen, doch die Liebe belehret sie bald eines anderen. Die irdischen Freuden werden bald auch solche Menschenkinder enttäuschen, es wird ein trügerisches Glück und ein oft unbefriedigendes Dasein ihre Erkenntnis reifen lassen, sie werden die Wertlosigkeit alles Irdischen einsehen und sich mit den Fragen befassen, die sie jetzt noch von sich weisen aus Furcht, die Schönheiten des Lebens einbüßen zu müssen. Aus diesem oft ängstlichen Abwehren wächst mitunter ein winziger Keim sich zu zartem Pflänzchen aus, das immer mehr Nahrung aufnimmt, bis es endlich lebens- und widerstandsfähig geworden ist und allen Stürmen trotzt, und solch ein Keim, in des Menschen Herz gelegt, kann aufgehen und sich unter dem Segen Gottes entwickeln und gedeihen und gute Frucht ansetzen.... Allen Anschauungen muß entsprochen werden und jede falsche Meinung widerlegt, und so ihr das noch nicht könnt aus eigener Kraft, müsset ihr den Herrn um Beistand anrufen, und Er wird euch allsogleich die Worte in den Mund legen, auf daß ihr kräftig und überzeugend nach Gottes Weisheit redet. Denn der Herr verläßt euch nicht, die ihr Ihn rufet, und wo ihr für Seinen Namen streitet, dort geht euch auch unentwegt Seine Kraft zu mit jedem Wort, das der Gewinnung irrender Seelen gilt. Wie oft kommen die Menschen in Lagen, die sie ernst und nachdenklich stimmen und sich ihnen die Frage um den Zweck des Erdendaseins aufdrängt. In solchen Lagen gedenken sie dann des ihnen vermittelten Wortes und finden so den Anschluß an die Ewigkeit. Und daher empfehlet solche Irrende der Gnade des Herrn, bevor ihr versuchet, sie zu erwecken, und bevor ihr Licht bringen möchtet denen, die noch in Dunkelheit des Geistes sich befinden. Mit der Hilfe des himmlischen Vaters wird ein jeder Erfolg leichter zu erringen sein, sie werden auf eure Reden hören und sie wohl im Herzen bewegen, wenn auch anfänglich keine offensichtliche Zustimmung zu erkennen ist. Denn das Wort Gottes Selbst ist Kraft, und die es hören ohne Widerstand, sind schon durchdrungen von dieser Kraft.... Ein leichter Widerstand aber kann überwunden werden mit Gottes Hilfe, und nur, wer ablehnt in vollem Willen, an dem kann sich die Kraft Gottes nicht sichtbar bemerkbar machen.... Jedoch auch ihre Stunde wird kommen, so sie nur einmal Gelegenheit hatten, auf den Willen Gottes hingewiesen worden zu sein. Das Leben an sich formt den Menschen oftmals sehr schnell und hat Unannehmlichkeiten aller Art bereit, und es ist kein Geschehen auf der Erde ohne Zweck.... Und die Liebe und Barmherzigkeit Gottes ist immer dort bereit, einzugreifen, wo der Mensch verzagt und bangend um Hilfe fleht.... und ist die Zeit auch noch fern.... es kommt bei jedem die Stunde, da er sich auf sein besseres Ich besinnt, und gesegnet, wer dann noch die rettende Hand des Vaters ergreift....
