Intervenție divină.... Distrugerea posesiunii....

Scopul vieții pe Pământ este eliberarea finală a sufletului de formă. Dumnezeu nu cere nimic imposibil de la creaturile Sale și, dacă a dat ființei umane această sarcină pe durata vieții sale pământești, atunci El îi oferă și toate mijloacele pentru a putea îndeplini această sarcină. Și totuși, oamenii eșuează și lasă timpul și binecuvântările întrupării lor să treacă nefolosite. Iar această lipsă de voință îl determină pe Dumnezeu să intervină cu consecințe imense. El distruge ceea ce îi împiedică pe oameni să își împlinească destinul real. Este vorba de posesiunile pământești care țin captive gândurile și voința oamenilor, astfel încât aceștia nu-și pot îndeplini sarcina lor pământească. Posesiunile pământești nu trebuie să fie un obstacol în niciun fel dacă sunt folosite în mod corespunzător pe Pământ. Dimpotrivă, ele pot ajuta totuși sufletul să devină liber dacă își învinge dorința pentru ele și folosește posesiunile pământești în slujba iubirii aproapelui. Atunci sufletul va fi învins cea mai mare rezistență pe Pământ, deci se va fi eliberat de ea, deoarece va fi învins materia. Dar dacă crește în continuare dorința pentru posesiune, ea este pentru suflet o piedică ce împiedică orice eliberare. Ceea ce a hotărât Dumnezeu în înțelepciunea Sa este, pe plan pământesc, o lucrare de distrugere de proporții imense și îi răpește pe oameni de posesiunile apărate cu nerăbdare. Prin urmare, îl eliberează de o cătușă, iar acum ascensiunea ar putea fi mai ușoară pentru suflet, de îndată ce acesta va trage beneficiul potrivit din această misiune divină, dacă recunoaște caracterul trecător al acesteia și își îndreaptă acum atenția spre bunurile care sunt nepieritoare, deci au valoare eternă. Voința omului decide acum, iar omul este responsabil pentru voința sa. Ceea ce i-a fost furat pe Pământ poate fi înlocuit de o mie de ori, dacă el se predă voinței divine și dorește ca substitut darurile spirituale. Având în vedere marea mizerie pe care o presupune intervenția divină, mulți vor realiza că binele pământesc nu trebuie să fie urmărit și că acesta servește doar ființei umane pentru a-i testa voința. Dar în prezent oamenii sunt complet dedicați materiei și lucrarea de distrugere îi va afecta cu atât mai grav, iar gândurile și aspirațiile lor vor fi de a redobândi bunurile. Și astfel, această intervenție divină va fi urmată de o perioadă care caracterizează în mod evident starea spirituală a oamenilor. Cu o voință sporită, ei vor încerca să-și modeleze din nou viața pământească astfel încât să corespundă trupului și bunăstării sale, iar cătușele sufletului nu se pot dezlega și sufletul nu se poate elibera. Doar câțiva vor intra în ei înșiși și vor asculta de vocea divină care le sună admonestator și îndrumător și îi stimulează să se gândească la scopul real al vieții pământești. De dragul acestor puțini, Dumnezeu îngăduie ca asupra oamenilor să se abată mari suferințe care ar putea să-i ajute pe toți să iasă din greutățile sufletești. Dar voința ființei umane este liberă și poate decide conform propriei alegeri....

Divine intervention.... destruction of property....

The meaning and purpose of life on earth is the final liberation of the soul from the form. God asks nothing impossible of His creatures, and if He has given man this task for the duration of his earthly life, then He also provides him with all the means to be able to fulfil this task. And yet people fail and let the time and the favours of their embodiment pass by unused. And this lack of will moves God to an intervention of immense significance. He destroys that which prevents people from fulfilling their actual destiny. This is the earthly possession which holds people's thoughts and will so captive that they do not fulfil their earthly task. Earthly possessions need not be a hindrance in any way if they are properly utilized on earth. On the contrary, it can still help the soul to become free if it overcomes the desire for it and uses its earthly possessions in the service of neighbourly love. Then the soul has conquered the greatest resistance on earth, i.e. it has freed itself from it because it has overcome matter. But if the possession still increases the desire for it, it is a shackle for the soul that prevents any liberation. In earthly terms, what God has decided in His wisdom is a work of destruction of immense proportions and robs people of their anxiously defended possessions. It therefore frees him from a shackle, and now the ascent upwards could be easier for the soul as soon as it derives the right benefit from this divine mission if it recognizes the transience of it and now turns its attention to the goods which are imperishable, therefore have eternal value. The will of man now decides, and man is responsible for his will. What was robbed from him earthly can be replaced a thousandfold if he resigns himself to the divine will and desires spiritual gifts as compensation. In view of the great misery that the divine intervention entails, many a person will come to realize that the earthly good should not be striven for and only serves the human being to test his will. But at the moment people are completely devoted to matter, and the work of destruction will hit them all the harder, and their thoughts and endeavours will be to regain the possessions. And so this divine intervention will be followed by a time which will obviously characterize people's spiritual state. With increased willpower they will try to shape earthly life again in such a way that it corresponds to the body and its comfort, and the shackles of the soul cannot loosen and release the soul. Only a few will go into themselves and follow the divine voice which sounds to them admonishingly and warningly and stimulates them to think about the actual purpose of life on earth. For the sake of these few, God allows the great suffering to come upon people, which could help everyone out of the misery of their souls. But man's will is free and he can decide according to his own choice....
