Geestelijke leringen – De zuiverste waarheid

En de wezens uiten zich nu overeenkomstig de mate waarin het hart in staat is om lief te hebben. Alles in het geestelijke rijk streeft de verspreiding van de waarheid na, want het geestelijke rijk is een rijk van het licht. Maar de aarde en ook de sferen in het hiernamaals, die met de aarde verbonden zijn, zijn plaatsen van duisternis, waarin het licht gebracht moet worden. Dat wil zeggen dat de waarheid verspreid moet worden, omdat dwaling en leugen, dus onbewuste en bewuste onwaarheid, de overhand hebben.

De waarheid kan echter niet willekeurig naar deze duistere gebieden geleid worden, maar door een verbinding, die uit liefde voor de naaste met het geestelijke rijk tot stand gebracht wordt, moet de mensen het woord van God, dat de zuivere waarheid in zichzelf is, dichterbij gebracht worden om nu door de mond van een mens voortgeplant te kunnen worden. En dit is noodzakelijk, omdat de mensheid volledig in dwaling geraakt is, maar de dwaling niet meer herkent.

De goddelijke liefde zoekt een mens, waaraan ze zich kan openbaren, wat echter niets buitengewoons hoeft te zijn, omdat elk mens er oorspronkelijk voor bestemd was om de goddelijke stem hoorbaar te vernemen. Maar slechts weinig mensen gebruiken dit voorrecht. Maar aan de andere kant is dit de enige weg om de eeuwige wijsheden in ontvangst te nemen. God, als het woord, komt de mensen Zelf naderbij, opdat deze elke wijsheid uit Hem kan putten. En God is de waarheid. En nooit zou de onwaarheid verspreid kunnen worden, als God Zelf tot de mensen spreekt.

Wat van de mensen overgenomen is, kan met vergissingen doorspekt zijn, maar nooit, wat God Zelf naar de aarde leidt. Wat zonder andermans hulp ontstaat en alleen maar de werkzaamheid van de gedachten van een mens, die positief tegenover God staat, die tot liefhebben in staat is en die naar de waarheid verlangt, tot aanleiding heeft.

Want wat door de werkzaamheid van de gedachten ontstaan is, stelt geestelijke kracht voorop en van welke aard deze krachten zijn, hangt geheel en al van de mens zelf af. Of hij de eeuwige Godheid nastreeft, of naar de hoogte verlangt en het contact met het geestelijke rijk tot stand brengt. Of door werelds verlangen en liefdeloosheid deze krachten, die nog verder van God af staan, de toegang verleent. Maar God als de eeuwige waarheid weert deze krachten, zodra de wil van een mens naar God en de waarheid toegekeerd is.

Spiritual teachings.... purest truth....

And now the beings express themselves according to the heart's ability to love. Everything in the spiritual kingdom only endeavours to spread the truth, for the spiritual kingdom is a kingdom of light. But the earth and also the still earth-bound spheres in the beyond are places of darkness into which the light has to be carried, i.e., truth has to be spread because error and lies, thus unconscious and conscious untruth, have the upper hand. But the truth cannot be arbitrarily guided into these dark areas, but through a connection, which is established out of love for the neighbour with the spiritual kingdom, the word of God, which is pure truth in itself, must be made accessible to men, in order to now be able to be propagated through the mouth of man. And this is necessary because humanity walks completely in error but no longer recognizes the error.... Divine love looks for a human being to whom it can reveal itself, but this need not be anything extraordinary because every human being is originally destined to hear the divine voice audibly. However, only a few people make use of this favour. On the other hand, this is the only way to receive eternal wisdom. God as the word brings Himself close to people so that they can draw all wisdom from Him. And God is the truth.... Untruth could never be spread when God Himself speaks to people.... What is taken over by people can be permeated by error, but never what God Himself directs to earth, what arises without external help and only has the thought activity of a person who affirms God, is capable of love and desires truth as a reason. For that which has arisen through thought activity requires spiritual strength, and the nature of the spiritual strength merely depends on the human being himself as to whether he strives towards the eternal deity, whether he longs to ascend and establishes contact with the spiritual kingdom.... or, through worldly desire and unkindness, allows access to those forces which are still far removed from God. But God, as the eternal truth, resists those forces as soon as a person's will is turned towards God and the truth....
