Lichtsferen – Licht, kennis, liefde

In de geestelijke sfeer is de lichttoestand bepalend voor de gelukzaligheid van het wezen. En deze lichttoestand is niet willekeurig tot stand te brengen of te versterken, maar is het gevolg van de werkzaamheid in liefde op aarde of in het hiernamaals. De werkzaamheid in liefde kan niet omzeild worden. Ze is de eerste voorwaarde voor een met licht doorstroomde sfeer, die het geestelijke de gelukzaligheid moet bezorgen. De liefde moet beoefend worden om door de liefde tot wijsheid te geraken. En zodra de ziel wetend wordt, is haar staat een staat van het licht, want licht is kennis. Enkel wetende wezens kunnen zalig zijn, want kennis te hebben is een staat van volmaaktheid, welke de ziel de eeuwige gelukzaligheid oplevert.

Al het gebrekkige is onvolmaakt en moet ook een gebrekkige, schamele toestand tot gevolg hebben. Dat wil zeggen dat de ziel, die onvolmaakt is, dit zal ervaren als een gebrek aan gelukzaligheid. Ze is onwetend en daarom zonder licht en haar omgeving is gebrekkig en bedrukkend.

Met licht doorstroomde sferen kunnen daarom alleen maar een verblijfplaats zijn voor die zielen, die volmaakt zijn. Die dus alles bezitten wat hen tot volmaaktheid vormt en dat is in de eerste plaats kennis, uit God ontvangen. Want deze kennis omvat alleen maar geestelijke waarheden, die God als uitstraling van Zichzelf naar al het wezenlijke leidt, dat deze waardig is. Dat wil zeggen door een werkzaam zijn in liefde voor God kiest en Diens Nabijheid nagestreefd heeft. Maar elke uitstraling uit God is licht en moet weer als licht tot uiting komen. Het moet weer stralen en zijn lichtkracht uitstralen naar al het geestelijke, dat dit licht nadert.

Zonder kennis bestaat er geen lichttoestand in het hiernamaals en ook geen met licht doorstroomde omgeving voor de ziel. Zodra de mens nu op aarde de liefde beoefent, wordt hij met de liefde van God doorstraalt en wordt hem de wijsheid uit God gegeven. Dat wil zeggen dat de gedachten van een liefhebbend mens steeds weer met de waarheid overeenkomen en bij het verscheiden van de aarde herkent hij de samenhang van alle dingen, het goddelijke besturen en werkzaam zijn en de bestemming van al het wezenlijke. En zodoende staat hij in het licht en kan dit licht weer uit laten stralen naar die wezens, bij wie het nog aan licht ontbreekt.

Als het licht al op aarde naar de mens wordt gebracht, dan kan hij zijn licht al op aarde laten schijnen. Dat wil zeggen de kennis doorgeven aan die mensen, die het aan willen nemen. En steeds is dit een toestand van gelukzaligheid, want het overdragen van de waarheid uit God aan de medemens veronderstelt liefde en elke werkzaamheid die in liefde uitgevoerd wordt, is gelukkig makend voor degenen die het uitvoeren.

Liefde, kennis en licht zijn ondenkbaar zonder elkaar. Om die reden wordt de mens, als hij de goddelijke wil vervult, onvermijdelijk ook wetend, dus staat zijn ziel in het licht, ofschoon het uiterlijk niet altijd herkenbaar is. Deze mensen hebben een schat in zich, die ze niet op durven graven. Hun geest wijst hen de juiste weg, maar hun aardse omgeving hindert hen om het licht te laten schijnen. En zo stralen ze met vergrote lichtintensiteit, zodra ze het aardse leven beëindigd hebben, want nu beseft de ziel haar opdracht, die erin bestaat om kennis door te geven.

De bekwaamheid om op aarde al onderwijzend werkzaam te kunnen zijn, is een genade, waarom bewust gevraagd moet worden, maar die elk mens verleend wordt, die deze werkzaamheid op aarde uit wil voeren. Dan komt de geest in de mens duidelijk tot uiting. Dat wil zeggen dat hij de ziel op zo’n manier onderwijst, dat deze als leerkracht opgeleid wordt en ze al op aarde in de diepste wijsheden van God binnendringen kan, wat het recht van elk mens is, die uit liefde voor de mensheid deze zou willen helpen, om vanuit de duisternis tot het licht te geraken. Deze bereidwilligheid moet eraan voorafgaan, maar dan is het in ontvangst nemen van de wijsheid, het licht en de kennis uit God onbegrensd. Want God zegent elk mens, die aan de strijd van het licht tegen de duisternis deelneemt. Die de medemensen naar het licht zou willen leiden door het doorgeven van de kennis, die hij zelf ontvangen heeft.

Sphere of light.... light - knowledge - love....

In the spiritual sphere, the state of light is decisive for the bliss of the being. And this state of light cannot be arbitrarily created or intensified but is the result of loving activity on earth or in the beyond. Loving activity cannot be bypassed, it is the first condition for a sphere flooded with light, which is intended to bring bliss to the spiritual.... Love must be cultivated in order to attain wisdom through love; and as soon as the soul becomes knowledgeable, its state is one of light, for light is knowledge.... Only knowing beings can be blissful, for to be in knowledge is a state of perfection which earns the soul eternal bliss. Everything imperfect is insufficient and must also result in an imperfect, meagre state, i.e. the soul, which is imperfect, will experience this as a lack of bliss.... It is ignorant and therefore without light, and its surroundings are meagre and oppressive. Spheres flooded with light can therefore only be an abode for souls who are perfect, i.e. who possess everything that shapes them into perfection, and that is first and foremost knowledge received from God. For this knowledge only comprises spiritual truths which God conveys as an emanation of Himself to all beings which are worthy of it, i.e. which have decided in favour of God through loving activity and striven to be close to Him. But every emanation of God is light and has to express itself again as light. It must radiate again and send out its luminosity to all spiritual beings that approach this light. Without knowledge there is no state of light in the beyond and also no light-flooded environment for the soul. As soon as the human being practices love on earth, God's love radiates through him and imparts the wisdom from God to him.... i.e., the thoughts of a loving person will always correspond to the truth, and when he departs from earth he recognizes the correlation of all things, the divine reign and activity and the purpose of all beings. And thus he stands in the light and can let this light radiate again onto the beings which still lack light. If the light is already made accessible to the human being on earth, he can already let his light shine on earth, i.e. pass on the knowledge to those people who want to accept it. And this is always a state of bliss, for imparting the truth from God to fellow human beings presupposes love, and every activity carried out with love is blissful for the practitioner. Love, knowledge and light are therefore inconceivable without each other, which is why the human being, if he fulfils the divine commandments, inevitably also becomes knowledgeable, thus his soul is in the light, even if it is not always outwardly recognizable. These people have a treasure within them that they do not dare to unearth. Their spirit knows them right, yet their earthly environment prevents them from letting the light shine, and thus it shines with increased brilliance as soon as they have ended their earthly life, for now the soul recognizes its task, which consists of passing on the knowledge.... The ability to already be able to teach on earth is a grace which has to be consciously requested but which is also granted to every person who wants to carry out this activity on earth. Then the spirit in man expresses itself obviously, i.e., it instructs the soul in such a way that it is trained as teaching power and it can already on earth penetrate into the deepest wisdoms from God, what is the right of every man, who out of love for mankind would like to help it to reach out of darkness to the light. This willingness must precede, but then the reception of wisdom from God.... of light and knowledge.... is unlimited. For God blesses every person who takes part in the battle of light against darkness.... who wants to lead his fellow human beings to the light by passing on the knowledge he himself has received....
