Strijden om de zielen in het hiernamaals – Gods barmhartigheid

Het in de eeuwigheid in dezelfde toestand blijven van het geestelijke is onmogelijk, want ofschoon het wezen tot inactiviteit veroordeeld is als gevolg van zijn onvolmaaktheid en dus krachteloos is en zonder krachttoevoer blijft, heeft deze krachteloosheid na langere of kortere tijd effect en wel op zo’n manier, dat het wezen zich of verhardt, dus zich steeds verder van God verwijdert, of probeert zijn toestand te verbeteren door in het hiernamaals in liefde werkzaam te zijn. Weliswaar kan de inactieve toestand een eindeloos lange tijd duren en voor de mensen zou deze tijd als een eeuwigheid zijn, maar de ziel blijft niet eeuwig onveranderd in deze toestand.

Er wordt voortdurend om zo’n ziel geworsteld, zowel van de kant van de lichtwezens, alsook van de kant van de duisternis. Meestal is de macht en de kracht van de lichtwezens effectiever, maar de strijd om de vele zielen is buitengewoon moeilijk, omdat de lichtwezens de wil van de wezens niet kunnen dwingen en deze wezens meer naar de duistere macht toegekeerd zijn.

De wil van een tot inactiviteit veroordeelde ziel wordt pas dan actief, als de toestand haar ondraaglijk lijkt. Zodoende moet eerst het verlangen naar een andere toestand in de ziel ontwaken, voordat ze toegankelijk is voor de inspanningen van de lichtwezens. En dit duurt vaak een eindeloos lange tijd. Maar zolang het wezen in dezelfde toestand blijft, dat wil zeggen de wil te zwak is om tot een verandering van zijn toestand te besluiten, is het nog niet hopeloos om op deze ziel in te werken, wat de lichtwezens voortdurend proberen.

Pas wanneer de tegengestelde krachten hun invloed zo uitoefenen, dat het wezen aan hen vervalt, dan wordt een opwaarts geleiden steeds uitzichtlozer, ofschoon ook dan de liefde en genade van God nog niet ophouden en Zijn barmhartigheid ook tot in de diepste diepten afdaalt om omhoog te brengen, wat Zijn liefde en barmhartigheid wil accepteren.

Steeds is er de mogelijkheid van een redding en steeds zal er voor het wezen ook weer als in een flits een licht schijnen, dat omhoog wijst. En de geringste wil naar licht zet bereidwillige krachten in beweging, die voor het wezen de weg omhoog mogelijk maken, want al het volmaakte in het hiernamaals is verlossend werkzaam en probeert de zielen uit de duisternis omhoog te halen naar het licht.

Struggling for souls in the afterlife.... God's mercy....

In eternity it is impossible for the spiritual being to remain in the same state, for even if the being is condemned to inactivity as a result of its imperfection and is therefore without strength and remains without supply of strength, this lack of strength will have an effect after a longer or shorter period of time, and indeed in such a way that either the being hardens itself, thus distances itself further and further from God, or tries to improve its situation through loving activity in the beyond. The state of inactivity can indeed last an infinitely long time, and for people this time would be a concept of eternity, yet the soul will not remain eternally unchanged in this situation. There is a constant struggle for such a soul on the part of the beings of light as well as on the part of the darkness. In most cases the power and strength of the beings of light is more effective but the battle for many souls is extremely difficult because the beings of light cannot force the will of the beings but this is more inclined towards the dark power. However, the will of a soul condemned to inactivity only becomes active when the state seems unbearable to it, thus the desire for a different state first has to awaken in the soul before it is accessible to the endeavours of the beings of light. And this often takes an infinitely long time. However, as long as the being remains in the same state, i.e. the will is too weak for the being to decide to change its situation, it is not yet hopeless to influence the soul, which the beings of light always and constantly try to do. Only when the opposing forces exert their influence in such a way that the being falls prey to them, then a guidance upwards becomes more and more hopeless, although even then God's love and favour does not stop and His mercy also descends into the deepest depths to bring up what wants to accept His love and mercy. salvation is always possible, and a light will always shine for the being in a flash which points upwards, and the slightest will for light attracts willing forces which enable the being to ascend, for everything perfect in the beyond is redemptively active and tries to fetch the souls out of darkness up to the light....
