Strijd van het leven die nodig is voor het rijpen van de ziel – Zielen, die zich belichamen willen

Zoals je bidt, zal je vervulling geschieden, want je geest is gewillig. En alles wat je op aarde voor de Heer begint, zal veelvuldig gezegend zijn, want de Heer is met allen die voor Hem zijn. En zo krijg je vandaag opnieuw de bewijzen van Zijn genade doordat wij Zijn opdracht uitvoeren en jou onderwijzen.

In de meest naaste omgeving van de mensen houden zich de zielen op die op belichaming wachten. Zij zijn niet voleindigd, en hun verlangen, de weg op aarde te kunnen gaan, is begrijpelijk. Zij hopen immers door deze belichaming op de bevrijding, de verlossing uit de materie. Zij geloven niet de menselijke vorm als zeer drukkend te ervaren en hun kracht schatten ze hoog genoeg in om alle weerstand op aarde te kunnen overwinnen, hoewel zij weten dat zij tijdens het leven op aarde met moeilijkheden te kampen hebben, zowel geestelijk als ook lichamelijk. Met heel hun wil gaan zij echter toch deze strijd aan, het is het immers waard om voor de eeuwigheid de laatste mogelijkheid optimaal te benutten.

Bleef nu de mensen de strijd van het leven op aarde bespaard, dan was de belichaming volledig doelloos, omdat de ziel in dezelfde gesteldheid zou blijven als bij zijn intrede in het lichaam, omdat een bestaan op aarde zonder strijd geen innerlijke rijping tot stand brengt. Door de weerstand moet de ziel sterker worden, een onverschillig ‘over zich heen laten komen’ zou de ziel immers alleen maar zwak laten worden en aan de beïnvloeding van lagere machten blootstellen. Alleen de voortdurende strijd kan opwaarts voeren en daarom is het gevaar, dat in het rustige aardse leven ligt, te groot.

Iedere ziel heeft ook de behoefte de toestand van lijden, die haar niet bevalt, zo spoedig mogelijk weer te verhelpen en zal daarom ook zonder te rusten werkzaam zijn. Wendt ze echter deze energie alleen maar aan voor aardse doelen, dat wil zeggen, tracht ze voor haar lichaam alleen maar het onaangename te verminderen, dan blijft ze verder in duisternis van geest. Hecht zij echter de grootste waarde aan het verminderen van geestelijke hindernissen, werkt ze onophoudelijk aan haar zielenheil en laat ze alle streven op aarde alleen maar dit doel gelden, dan zal het spoedig helder licht in haar worden.

Haar toestand zal steeds vrijer zijn, de kracht van haar arbeid zal toenemen, en ze zal nu eveneens het aardse leven, zonder het gebruik van bijzondere kracht, de baas kunnen worden, want de Vader in de hemel verzekert Zijn kind op aarde van de zorg om het aardse welzijn als diens streven enkel en alleen de ontwikkeling van zijn ziel geldt. Daarom is de ijverige arbeid aan zich zelf onbeschrijfelijk waardevol.

Wie tegen zijn begeerten strijdt, wie zich oefent in zachtmoedigheid en geduld, wie zijn naasten liefde schenkt en zich steeds inspant in alles Gods wil te vervullen, blijft onafgebroken in de genade van God. En in de genade van God te leven, betekent zich zonder zorgen aan Hem te kunnen overgeven, altijd door Hem, de goddelijke Vader, verzorgd te worden en zonder angst en zorgen iedere dag tegemoet te kunnen zien, beschermd te zijn tegen alle gevaren voor het lichaam en de ziel en voortdurend versterkt te worden voor de voor hem op aarde vastgestelde werkzaamheid, die zowel het lichaam als de ziel geldt.

Wanneer zo’n mate van genade voor de mensen toegankelijk is, dan kan hij zonder zorgen door het leven op aarde gaan, steeds alleen maar dit indachtig dat hij deze schenking van goddelijke liefde niet vergooit, maar zich in deze altijd waardig bewijst te zijn. Dat hij de arbeid aan zijn ziel niet veronachtzaamt doordat hij zich wijdt aan wereldse interesses, en dat hij nooit het gebed vergeet, dat hem altijd weer bescherming verleent tegen de verzoekingen van de wereld. Zo heeft de mens het alleen maar nodig te overdenken dat hij het kind van de Schepper is, dan zal hij vertrouwen vatten op Hem als zijn Vader en innig bidden. En zijn gebed zal verhoord worden.

Struggles of life necessary for the maturation of the soul.... Souls that want to embody....

As soon as you pray, you will be fulfilled, for your spirit is willing.... And everything you start on earth for the Lord will be blessed many times over, for the Lord is with all who are for Him. And so today the proofs of His grace go to you anew, as we carry out His order and instruct you.

The souls waiting for embodiment dwell in the immediate vicinity of humans. They are unfinished, and their desire to be able to pursue the career on earth is understandable, because they hope for the release from matter through this embodiment the liberation. They believe that the form as a human being is not so oppressive, and they estimate their strength high enough to be able to overcome all resistances on earth, although they know that they have to struggle with difficulties in earthly life, both spiritually and physically. But they take up this fight with full will, because it is important to exhaust the last possibility for eternity.

If the human being would be spared the struggles of earthly life, the embodiment would be completely pointless, because the soul would remain in the same condition as when it entered the body, since an earthly existence without struggle does not bring about an inner maturation. The soul has to strengthen at the resistances, but an indifferent letting go would only let the soul become weak and be exposed to the influence of lower powers. Only the constant fight can lead to the height, and therefore the danger is too great, which lies in the earthly quiet life..... Every soul also has the need to remedy the state of suffering it does not like as quickly as possible and will therefore also be restlessly active.

If, however, it devotes this energy only to earthly purposes, i.e., if it seeks to reduce only the unpleasant things in the body, it will remain in darkness of the spirit..... But if it attaches the greatest importance to the reduction of spiritual obstacles, if it works continuously on the salvation of it's soul and if all it's striving on earth is directed only to this goal, then it will soon become bright light..... It's condition will be freer and freer, the strength for it's work will increase, and it will now also be able to master the earthly life, but without the use of special strength, because the Father in heaven assures His earthly child the care for the earthly welfare, so that it's endeavor is solely the promotion of his soul.

Indescribably valuable is therefore the diligent work on oneself.... Whoever fights against his desires, whoever practices meekness and patience, whoever gives love to his neighbor and always strives to fulfill the will of God in everything, remains uninterruptedly in the grace of God.... and to live in the grace of God means to be able to surrender to Him without worry, to always be taken care of by Him, the Divine Father, and to be able to face each day without fear or worry, to be protected in all dangers of the body and soul, and to be strengthened again and again for His destined activity on earth, which is for both the body and the soul.

If such a measure of grace is accessible to man, then he can go through earthly life without worry, only always remembering that he should not forfeit this devotion of Divine Love but always prove himself worthy of it.... that he should not neglect the work on his soul by turning to worldly interests, and that he should never forget prayer, which again and again grants him protection against the temptations of the world. Thus, man only needs to consider that he is a child of the Creator, then he will trust in Him as his Father and ask fervently.... and his prayer will be heard....
