Raggiungere la figliolanza di Dio

Lo scopo finale della vita terrena è il raggiungimento del grado di maturità che procura all’uomo la figliolanza di Dio. Ma pochi uomini vivono così consapevolmente che tutto il loro tendere è rivolto solo a questa ultima meta. Perché un continuo servire nell’amore deve formare l’uomo in modo che possa anche ricevere continuamente l’Irradiazione dell’Amore di Dio che garantisce un costante progresso dell’anima ed infine le procura quel grado di maturità che possa entrare come vero figlio di Dio nel Regno spirituale, che ora le spettano tutti i diritti di figlio e che possa creare e formare nella stessa volontà con Dio per la propria felicità. La figliolanza di Dio è la meta più alta e ad ogni uomo è data la possibilità di raggiungere questa meta, ma richiede tutta la volontà dell’uomo che dev’essere rivolta a Dio; richiede una retrocessione di tutti i desideri terreni, un superamento delle bramosie terrene, richiede una costante unificazione con Dio attraverso il fattivo amore per il prossimo ed un sempre continuo desiderio per Lui che spinge l’uomo al fervente lavoro sull’anima, ad un cammino di vita compiacente e che rende ricettivo il suo cuore per le più profonde Sapienze di Dio. Richiede un ininterrotto agire nell’amore che forma il suo cuore in modo che Dio Stesso vi possa prendere dimora ed ha luogo la più intima unificazione con Lui già sulla Terra. La figliolanza di Dio fa scaturire il sentimento il più alto di felicità nell’anima, è la cosa più meravigliosa che l’uomo possa raggiungere. E malgrado ciò vi si aspira così poco, perché la prima condizione è la prestazione di rinuncia ai beni e gioie terreni, per cui la forza e la volontà dell’uomo sovente non bastano ed utilizza troppo poco la Forza della preghiera. Ciò che vuole seriamente lo può anche ottenere, appena lo chiede intimamente e non cede nella sua preghiera. L’apporto di Forza non gli verrà mai negato, appena la sua volontà vi tende seriamente. Per raggiungere la figliolanza di Dio è necessaria anche la presa di contatto con le Forze unite con Dio, cioè l’uomo si deve totalmente aprire a tutte le buone correnti spirituali, deve stare in costante disponibilità di ricevere, quindi attraverso il pensare rivolto a Dio far agire su di sé le correnti mentali dal Regno spirituale, con cui gli giunge aumentata Forza e Luce, cosa che ha per conseguenza una sicura maturazione. La volontà di venire vicino a Dio stacca l’anima dalla Terra, dalla materia e le dà il libero sviluppo, non viene ostacolata nel volo verso l’Alto e questo è già un unirsi con dei portatori spirituali della Luce. L’anima dimora sovente nel Regno spirituale ed il desiderio per Dio diventa sempre più forte in lei. E di conseguenza è ora anche il suo agire d’amore sulla Terra. Il cosciente tendere verso l’Alto ed un profondo, intimo amore per Dio forma l’anima dell’uomo sulla Terra così che la può lasciare come figlio di Dio, per assumere l’Eredità del Padre, per poter contemplare Dio da Volto a volto.

Becoming a child of God....

The final purpose of life on earth is to achieve the degree of maturity which earns the human being childship to God. But few people live so consciously that their whole striving is only directed towards this final goal. For continued service in love has to shape the human being such that he can also continue to receive God's emanation of love, which guarantees the soul's constant progress and finally earns it that degree of maturity that it can enter the spiritual kingdom as a true child of God, that it is now entitled to all childlike rights and that it can create and shape in God-like will for its own happiness. Childship to God is the highest goal, and every human being is given the opportunity to reach this goal, but it requires the human being's whole will, which must be turned towards God; It requires a setting aside of all earthly wishes, an overcoming of all earthly desires, it requires a constant union with God through active neighborly love and a perpetual longing for Him, which drives the human being to diligent soul work, to a pleasing way of life and which makes his heart receptive for the deepest wisdom from God. It requires an uninterrupted activity of love which shapes his heart in such a way that God Himself can take up residence in him and the most intimate union with Him already takes place on earth. Becoming a child of God triggers an ineffable feeling of happiness in the soul, it is the most glorious thing a person can achieve. And yet it is striven for so little because renouncing earthly goods and pleasures is the first condition, but a person's strength and will are often insufficient and he makes too little use of the power of prayer. What he earnestly wants, he can also achieve as soon as he fervently asks for it and does not let up in his prayer. The supply of strength will never be denied to him as long as his will earnestly strives for it. In order to attain childship to God it is also necessary to be in contact with the God-connected forces, i.e. the human being must willingly open himself to all good spiritual currents, he must be in a constant state of readiness to receive, thus he must allow the thought currents from the spiritual kingdom to take effect on him through thinking turned towards God, as a result of which he will receive increased strength and light, which will result in a certain maturing. The will to come close to God detaches the soul from earth, from matter, and gives it free development, it is not hindered on its flight upwards, and this is already a connection to spiritual light bearers. The soul often sojourns in the spiritual kingdom and the desire for God becomes ever stronger in it. And its activity of love on earth is now correspondingly.... Consciously striving upwards and deep, heartfelt love for God shape the human being's soul on earth such that it can leave it as a child of God in order to take up the father's inheritance.... to be able to see God face to face....
