Il potere terreno e disposizioni - La Protezione divina - La salda fede

Gli uomini danno troppa importanza alle disposizioni che vengono emesse da parte terrena, e non pensano che è comunque contro la Volontà di Dio, che queste disposizioni possano essere eseguite. Dio rispetterà bensì la libera volontà dell’uomo e non interverrà sempre nelle disposizioni umane, che non corrispondono alla Sua Volontà, ma è nella Sua Potenza di annientare ciò che uomini fanno sorgere. Ma l’uomo stesso non può fare nulla per assicurarsi il suo destino, benché esegua tutto ciò che viene da lui preteso umanamente. Ma se esegue dapprima le Pretese di Dio, allora non deve attribuire troppo valore alle disposizioni terrene, allora verrà già guidato da Dio, affinché non infranga le leggi terrene ed il potere terreno, oppure Egli saprà proteggerlo dagli effetti più gravi di una infrazione inconsapevole. Perciò l’uomo non deve preoccuparsi per il suo destino terreno, finché vuole essere obbediente al sommo Signore e Reggente, perché allora Costui gli darà la Sua Protezione, così come gli serve. Viceversa però non servono niente tutte le regole di prudenza, perché il potere terreno non può proteggere l’uomo da Decisioni divine, che possono annientare tutte le provvidenze umane. Nei tempi di miseria l’unica sicurezza contro una sciagura che viene agli uomini dall’esterno, è affidarsi fiduciosi a Dio In una situazione esteriore di vita apparentemente sicura non si trova ancora la garanzia per una vera protezione in tempi di miseria ed afflizione, che Dio Stesso manda sugli uomini, perché costoro sono esposti a tali Mandati dall’Alto, per quanto terrenamente siano provveduti favorevolmente dal destino. E perciò per ogni uomo verranno delle ore, in cui la propria forza e potere non basta, ma l’uomo deve rifugiarsi nella preghiera, dove non lo possono aiutare né gli uomini, né lui stesso se ne può liberare, dove esiste solo una via che guida fuori dal caos, la via verso Dio Stesso. Ma questa via non verrà mai percorsa inutilmente, perché Dio E’ sempre pronto all’Aiuto. Di conseguenza sarà autorizzato ad una vita terrena facile solamente l’uomo, che chiede nella piena fede l’Aiuto al Padre celeste. Dio esaudisce la preghiera, se sale da un cuore profondamente credente ed il figlio terreno nella sua miseria si affida a Dio. Invece l’uomo che riconosce solo un potere terreno, capiterà inevitabilmente nell’oppressione più estrema, ma non un essere che non ha ancora visto. Ora il potere terreno fallirà, e degli esseri spirituali, gli Angeli di protezione e servitori di Dio, si prendono cura di tutti coloro, che lasciano passare rassegnati tutto su di sé e mandano solo una silenziosa chiamata di richiesta in Alto nella salda fede, di non averla mandata invano. Questa salda fede procura all’uomo effettivamente anche l’esaudimento, mentre la chiamata di richiesta al potere terreno echeggia non udita; anche se l’uomo sta nel rango e nella fama, è soltanto apparenza esteriore, che però non ha nessun significato più profondo. E così l’uomo non deve sentire nessuna paura finché vive in Dio, finché considera sé stesso come figlio Suo e si sforza di vivere secondo la Sua Volontà. Nulla dovrà spaventarlo, perché in tutte le situazioni della vita, il Padre nel Cielo Sarà presso gli uomini, che amano intimamente Dio. Qualunque cosa potrà anche venire vicino a voi, non dovete né contendere né temere per la vostra sorte, Dio lascia venire l’Aiuto a tutti coloro che portano sempre soltanto Lui davanti agli occhi e nel cuore. Gli uomini verranno ancora posti davanti a grandi decisioni, per decidersi per Lui oppure per i rappresentanti del potere terreno. Quest’ultimo è totalmente inerme, mentre la Potenza di Dio compie tutto e può salvare e salverà dalla sua miseria ognuno che crede.

Earthly power and measures.... divine protection.... firm belief....

People attach too much importance to the measures which are taken on earth and do not consider that it depends on God's will that these measures can be carried out. God will certainly take people's free will into account and not always intervene in human determinations which do not correspond to His will, yet it is within His power to undo what people allow to come into being.... However, man himself cannot do anything to secure his fate, even though he obeys everything that is demanded of him by man. However, if he first fulfils God's requirements he need not attach such great importance to earthly regulations, he will then be guided by God in such a way that he will not violate earthly law and earthly authority, or He will know how to protect him from the worst consequences of an unknowing violation. And therefore the human being should not worry about his earthly fate as long as he is willing to be obedient to the supreme lord and ruler, for then He will grant him His protection as it serves him. Conversely, however, all precautionary measures are of no use, for earthly power cannot protect a person against divine decisions, which can destroy every human precaution. In times of need, trusting God is the only security against calamities that approach people from outside....

An apparently secure external life situation does not yet guarantee real protection in times of hardship and tribulation, which God Himself sends upon people. For all people are exposed to such messages from above, no matter how favourably they are fated on earth. And therefore hours will come for every person when his own strength and power will no longer suffice but he will have to seek refuge in prayer.... where neither his fellow human beings can help him nor can he free himself.... where there is only one path that will lead him out of the chaos.... the path to God Himself.... But this path will never be travelled in vain, for God is always ready to help. Consequently, only the person who asks the heavenly father for help in full faith will be entitled to lead an easy life on earth. God fulfils this prayer as long as it arises from a deeply believing heart and the earthly child entrusts his need to God. On the other hand, the person who only recognizes an earthly power but not a being that he has not yet seen will inevitably come into extreme distress.... The earthly power will now fail, and spiritual beings, guardian angels and servants of God will take care of all those who humbly accept everything and only send up a silent plea in the firm belief that they are not sending it up in vain. This firm faith actually brings fulfilment to the person, whereas the plea to earthly power goes unheard; and whether the person is of rank and standing is only an outward appearance but has no deeper meaning. And so the human being need not feel any fear as long as he lives in God, regards himself as His child and endeavours to live in accordance with His will. Nothing will need to frighten him, for in all situations in life the father in heaven will be tangibly present with the person who loves God dearly. Whatever may approach you from the outside, you should neither quarrel nor fear for your fate, God will grant help to all those who only ever have Him before their eyes and in their hearts. People will still be faced with great decisions in order to decide in favour of Him or the representative of earthly power. Earthly power is completely powerless, whereas God's power accomplishes everything and can and will save everyone who believes in it from his distress....
