Purpose of earthly existence as a human being....

Consider your human existence purely as a brief chapter of an infinitely long period of development which, however, is of immense importance, because during this short time you have to make your decision of will which determines your fate in eternity.... For you can bring this process of development to a conclusion; but you can also prolong it again for an infinitely long time which signifies beatitude or agony for your soul.... the human being's real Self.... thus you yourselves make this decision as a human being. You humans do not spend much thought on it, but the time of your earthly life passes by quickly and then its result will take effect.... Time and again you are informed of it and yet you pay little attention to what you are told or you would live consciously and make an effort to strive for the right goal. But then you must also believe in a God and Creator to Whom you owe your existence, and by making contact with Him you will also receive the strength to live your life according to His will. You must be aware of this God and Creator in order to submit yourselves to Him and His will.... And you must know the reason for your existence as a human being.... in order to live expediently on earth.... i.e., to reach the goal on account of which you live on earth.... You will not be kept in ignorance, time and time again God's will shall be proclaimed to you, no matter in what manner it will happen. For God speaks to people, He addresses them directly as soon as the conditions for it have been fulfilled.... Or He will enlighten a person through mediators.... Yet He will never leave people without knowledge about His will, since this knowledge enables them to live their earthly life correctly and thus complete their development while they are living on earth. However, they can also keep a closed mind to every explanation; they can distance themselves from God, become disbelievers and refuse to accept any deeper reasons for living on earth. They can merely deem themselves as inhabitants of a creation, whose life is purely an end in itself, and only deal with their life from this point of view.... Then they do not accept God's will either, Who requires a life of love, but their own will predominates, which is purely based on selfish love, which only would like to provide itself with the greatest possible pleasure and will only ever consider itself but never its fellow human being.... A person like that is thinking completely wrongly, and unless he changes he will never ever reach his goal on earth.... He will live his earthly life in vain and prepare a dreadful fate for his soul.... But neither can he be prevented from it since he has free will and he will not be deprived in any way either as far as the recognition of truth is concerned, since he will always receive it in some form or other, he need only form the right opinion of it and his soul will derive the right benefit too.

However, precisely this forming of an opinion is omitted by him, he will be satisfied with that which he can comprehend with his earthly senses.... the world and its possessions.... and he will let himself be captured by them and never take a step forward in his development because every condition is missing for it, such as love and heartfelt contact with God, through which he could attain inner realisation and which testify to his correctly focussed will.... But the human being's will is free and also has to be free during his life on earth so that he can make a decision and once again have the opportunity to enter his original state and to become as he had been in the beginning.... For he would never be able to attain supreme beatitude were he to remain an unfree being and unable to voluntarily take the path to God, Who will guarantee this utmost bliss.... Everything that came forth from Him as a free being must remain in this freedom and desire to reach Him, then it will also be and remain very happy without limitation.... God's created beings once forfeited this freedom and were in a wretched state which lasted for eternities, yet one day God will return this freedom to them but only for the purpose of their final return to Him.... for the purpose of making a free decision for or against Him.... nevertheless, time and again the human being's attention will be drawn to the meaning and purpose of earthly existence. And one day he will also have to justify himself, because every person will sooner or later be informed of the fact that he only lives on earth for the sake of a purpose.... And anyone who seriously tries to ascertain this purpose will also receive enlightenment, in everything that happens to him he will be able to discover a wise guidance, then he will also begin to realise the purpose of his earthly life and endeavour to live up to it, he will live responsibly and soon learn to recognise and love his God and Creator.... Then he will truly not live his earthly life in vain, he will inwardly mature and soon attain the right goal: his union with God through love.... He will recognise the significance of life on earth and do whatever it takes in order to bring one period of development to conclusion, so that he will be released from every physical form, from every chain, and be able to enter the kingdom of light and beatitude when his hour has come....

Lo scopo dell’esistenza terrena dell’uomo

Considerate la vostra esistenza come uomo soltanto come un breve tratto di un periodo di sviluppo infinitamente lungo che però è di enorme significato, perché in questo breve tempo dovete emettere una decisione di volontà, che decide la vostra sorte nell’Eternità. Perché potete portare a termine questo percorso di sviluppo, ma lo potete anche allungare di nuovo all’infinito, che significa per la vostra anima, il vero io dell’uomo, beatitudine o tormento, quindi voi stessi come uomo decidete questo. Voi uomini riflettete solo poco su questo, ma il tempo della vita terrena passa velocemente, ed il risultato di ciò ora va ad effetto. Voi venite sempre di nuovo informati su questo, e malgrado ciò voi osservate soltanto poco ciò che vi viene detto, altrimenti vivreste coscientemente e vi sforzereste di tendere alla vera meta. Ma allora dovete anche credere in un Dio e Creatore, a Cui dovete la vostra esistenza, e dovete stabilire con Lui il legame, allora vi giungerà anche la forza per un cambiamento terreno secondo la Sua Volontà. Voi dovete sapere di questo Dio e Creatore, per sottoporvi a Lui ed alla Sua Volontà. E voi dovete sapere, in che cosa consiste la vostra esistenza come uomo, cioè, di raggiungere la meta, per il qual scopo voi siete sulla Terra. E su ciò non siete lasciati nell’ignoranza, vi viene sempre di nuovo annunciata la Volontà di Dio, non importa, in quale modo ciò avviene. Perché Dio parla agli uomini, Egli parla direttamente a voi, quando ne esistono le premesse. Oppure Egli fornisce chiarificazione agli uomini tramite dei mediatori. Ma Egli non lascia mai gli uomini senza conoscenza della Sua Volontà, perché tramite questa conoscenza possono condurre giustamente il loro cammino terreno e completare il loro sviluppo finché sono sulla Terra. Ma possono chiudersi anche ad ogni chiarimento, si possono allontanare da Dio, diventare miscredenti e non lasciare valere alcune motivazioni più profonde della vita terrena. Possono considerare sé stessi semplicemente come abitanti di una Creazione, la cui vita è soltanto scopo a sé stessa ed occuparsi soltanto da questo punto di vista della loro vita. Ed allora non lasceranno nemmeno valere la Volontà di Dio, Che richiede una vita d’amore, ma comanderà la loro propria volontà, che è basata soltanto sull’amor proprio, che vorrebbe preparare solo a sé stesso il maggior godimento e pensare sempre soltanto a sé stesso, ma mai ai suoi prossimi. Un tale uomo si trova nel pensare totalmente errato, e non raggiungerà mai e poi mai la sua meta sulla Terra, se non cambia. Percorrerà la sua vita terrena inutilmente e preparerà alla sua anima una sorte orribile. Ma non può nemmeno esserne ostacolato, perché ha una libera volontà, ma questa non viene svantaggiata in nessun modo per quanto riguarda il riconoscere la Verità, perché questa gli viene sempre presentata in qualche modo, deve soltanto prendere una giusta posizione e la sua anima ne trarrà anche la giusta utilità. Ma proprio la presa di posizione viene da lui tralasciata, si accontenterà con ciò che può afferrare con i sensi terreni, del mondo ed i suoi beni, e se ne lascerà catturare e non procederà nemmeno d’un passo nel suo sviluppo, perché per questo manca ogni premessa, come amore ed un intimo legame con Dio, mediante il quale potrebbe giungere alla conoscenza interiore e che testimonia della sua volontà orientata giustamente. Ma la volontà dell’uomo è libera e deve anche essere libera durante la vita terrena, affinché si possa decidere ed ha di nuovo una volta la possibilità, di ritornare nel suo stato primordiale e diventare di nuovo ciò che era in principio. Perché non potrebbe in eterno giungere alla massima beatitudine, se rimanesse un essere non-libero e non potesse intraprendere da sé la via verso Dio, Che gli garantisce questa massima beatitudine. Tutto ciò che è proceduto liberamente da Lui, deve rimanere in questa libertà e desiderare Lui, allora sarà e rimarrà anche illimitatamente beato. Gli esseri creati da Dio avevano una volta hanno rinunciato a questa libertà, e sono infelici per delle Eternità, però una volta Dio restituisce loro la libertà, ma soltanto allo scopo del definitivo ritorno a Lui, allo scopo di una libera decisione per o contro di Lui. Per questo motivo la vita terrena come uomo è così significativa e non viene comunque riconosciuta giustamente. Da parte dell’avversario viene presentato all’uomo ancora molto come importante e desiderabile, cioé che l’uomo arrivi ad un pensare confuso cerca soltanto di procurare al suo corpo un benessere, ma lascia totalmente inosservata l’anima e con ciò manca lo scopo della sua vita terrena. Ma gli viene anche sempre di nuovo fatto notare il senso e lo scopo dell’esistenza terrena. Ed una volta ne deve rendere conto, perché un giorno verrà messo davanti ad ogni uomo, il fatto che rimane sulla Terra per via di uno scopo. E chi cerca di sondare seriamente questo scopo, ne ottiene anche una chiarificazione, potrà riconoscere in tutto ciò che lo riguarda una saggia guida, e se la segue, allora gli verrà anche la conoscenza sullo scopo della sua vita, e si sforzerà di adempierlo, vivrà più responsabile e riconoscerà ed imparerà ad amare il suo Dio e Creatore. Ed allora non vivrà davvero in modo inutile la sua vita terrena, e maturerà interiormente e raggiungerà presto la giusta meta: l’unificazione con Dio mediante l’amore. Riconoscerà il significato della vita terrena e farà di tutto, per portare a termine un periodo di sviluppo, affinché diventi libero da ogni forma, da ogni catena e potrà entrare nel Regno di Luce e della Beatitudine, quando sarà venuta la sua ora.
