Attainment of sonship with God requires detachment from the world....

You can achieve everything if only you muster the serious will, for then you will also be able to receive unmeasured strength to carry out what you want.... Yet precisely your will is weak and the world still holds you too captive to be willing to surrender everything.... But if you want to attain childship to God while still on earth, this requires a complete overcoming of the world.... You must have completely detached yourselves from matter, which, however, does not mean that you should withdraw into the desert as a hermit.... You can also stand in the midst of the world and yet have completely overcome matter, for to deal with it does not mean to desire it. For the earthly fulfilment of duty need not be an obstacle to the soul's ascent if it is a service to fellow human beings and if this service is not carried out solely for the sake of earthly gain, that is, if the human being's activity is motivated by the acquisition of material goods. Even a person's possessions are no obstacle to complete spiritualisation if they are used again for serving, unselfish neighbourly love.... But if self-love is satisfied first, then the path to spiritualisation is still very long, then the striving for the highest goal is not yet serious and thus the will is too weak, which also results in a lack of strength.... It is therefore up to you humans yourselves whether you still reach the goal in a short time.... You can have a whole life at your disposal and not get any further.... But you can also complete yourselves in a very short time if this is your serious endeavour, because then you will truly not lack strength. And as soon as you are given knowledge which also assures you an abundance of blessings you can now also consciously strive for perfection, which, however, always requires you to detach yourselves from the world. The extent to which you are willing to do so is also determined by your ability, for the serious will assures you the supply of strength. You humans, however, still expect too much from your life, you still harbour various desires and are not willing to relinquish them.... Nor do you trust Me unreservedly as yet, otherwise you would not doubt that I will also guide you through earthly life, that you need not suffer hardship.... if I recognize that your soul's salvation is of utmost importance to you and you distance yourselves from earthly desires.... For it is I alone Who can give to you but also take away.... Who also provides for you most abundantly if you are willing to make a sacrifice to Me.... For you will truly not come to any harm, for what the body voluntarily relinquishes the soul gains a thousandfold.... And if you consider that you have to give up all earthly goods when your soul relies on your body.... that you cannot take anything over but only your spiritual gain, then you will also realise the worthlessness of earthly goods and try to free yourselves from them for the sake of spiritual advantage. But I cannot force you to renounce, I can only help you by taking away what still hinders you or by placing so many obstacles in your way that you voluntarily give up what is not helpful for your soul's salvation. And you must seriously try to establish this difference between 'fulfilment of duty' and 'your own desire for the world's goods', and if you feel completely free of the latter then you can truly also reach the final goal on this earth, to attain childship to God, for the course of your life will then also be shaped according to the seriousness of your will and striving, always offering you the highest opportunities to reach the highest goals.... But you will not lack strength because then you will enter into My will and your return to Me will be assured....

E’ condizione distaccarsi dal mondo per il raggiungimento della figliolanza di Dio

Voi potete raggiungere tutto, se soltanto sviluppate la seria volontà, perché allora potrete anche ricevere la forza in modo incommensurabile, per eseguire ciò che volete. Ma proprio la vostra volontà è debole ed il mondo vi tiene ancora troppo catturato per essere pronti a rinunciare a tutto. Ma se volete raggiungere la figliolanza di Dio ancora sulla Terra, allora per questo ci vuole un toltale superare del mondo. Dovete esservi distaccati totalmente dalla materia, che però non significa che vi ritiriate come eremita nel deserto. Potete anche stare in mezzo al mondo ed aver superato totalmente la materia, perché trattare con lei non significa desiderarla. L’adempimento del dovere terreno non ha bisogno di esser un ostacolo per lo sviluppo in Alto dell’anima, se è un servizio ai prossimi e se questo servizio non viene svolto soltanto per via del guadagno terreno, che quindi i beni materiali sono la spinta per l’attività che l’uomo svolge. Anche il possesso di un uomo non è un ostacolo per la definitiva spiritualizzazione, quando viene utilizzato di nuovo per un servizio dell’amore disinteressato al prossimo. Ma se l’amor proprio viene soddisfatto per primo, allora anche la via per la spiritualizzazione è ancora molto lontana, allora il tendere alla meta più sublime non è ancora serio e quindi la volontà troppo debole, cosa che ha per conseguenza una mancanza di forza. Dipende perciò da voi uomini stessi, se arrivate alla meta ancora in breve tempo. Vi può stare a disposizione tutta una vita e non progredite di un passo. Potete perfezionarvi però anche in un tempo molto breve, se questo è il vostro serio tendere, perché allora non vi manca davvero la forza. Ed appena vi viene apportato un sapere che vi assicura anche una ultramisura di Grazie, allora potete anche tendere del tutto consapevolmente alla perfezione, cosa che richiede però sempre di distaccarvi dal mondo. Quanto ne siete volonterosi, determina anche la facoltà, perché la seria volontà vi assicura anche l’apporto di Forza. Voi uomini però vi aspettate sempre ancora troppo dalla vostra vita, nutrite ancora certi desideri e non siete pronti a rinunciarvi. Non vi fidate ancora illimitatamente, altrimenti non dubitereste, che Io vi guido anche attraverso la vita terrena, affinché non abbiate a soffrire nessuna miseria, quando riconosco, che vi è più urgente la salvezza della vostra anima e prende distanza dai desideri terreni. Perché Sono soltanto Io il Quale vi posso dare, ma anche togliere, il Quale provvede anche abbondantissimamente a voi, se siete pronti a portarMi un sacrificio, perché non avrete certamente un danno, perché quello a cui il corpo rinuncia, lo guadagna l’anima mille volte. E se pensate che dovete dare via tutti i beni terreni, quando la vostra anima abbandona il corpo, che non potete portare nulla con voi che soltanto il vostro guadagno spirituale, allora comprenderete anche la mancanza di valore dei beni terreni e cercherete di liberarvene per via del vantaggio spirituale. Ma non posso costringervi alla rinuncia, posso soltanto assistervi mentre vi tolgo ciò che vi ostacola ancora, oppure vi mette sulla via tanti ostacoli, che rinunciate volontariamente a ciò che non vi serve per la salvezza della vostra anima. E dovete cercare seriamente di constatare questa differenza fra “adempimento di dovere” ed il “proprio desiderio per i beni del mondo” e se vi sentite totalmente liberi da questo, allora potete davvero raggiungere anche l’ultima meta su questa Terra, di giungere alla figliolanza di Dio, perché rispetto alla serietà della vostra volontà ed il tendere si formerà poi anche il decorso della vostra vita, offrendovi sempre le più alte possibilità, di raggiungere le mete più sublimi. Non vi mancherà nemmeno la Forza, perché allora entrate nella Mia Volontà ed il vostro ritorno a Me è assicurato.
