Attainment of sonship with God requires detachment from the world....

You can achieve everything if only you muster the serious will, for then you will also be able to receive unmeasured strength to carry out what you want.... Yet precisely your will is weak and the world still holds you too captive to be willing to surrender everything.... But if you want to attain childship to God while still on earth, this requires a complete overcoming of the world.... You must have completely detached yourselves from matter, which, however, does not mean that you should withdraw into the desert as a hermit.... You can also stand in the midst of the world and yet have completely overcome matter, for to deal with it does not mean to desire it. For the earthly fulfilment of duty need not be an obstacle to the soul's ascent if it is a service to fellow human beings and if this service is not carried out solely for the sake of earthly gain, that is, if the human being's activity is motivated by the acquisition of material goods. Even a person's possessions are no obstacle to complete spiritualisation if they are used again for serving, unselfish neighbourly love.... But if self-love is satisfied first, then the path to spiritualisation is still very long, then the striving for the highest goal is not yet serious and thus the will is too weak, which also results in a lack of strength.... It is therefore up to you humans yourselves whether you still reach the goal in a short time.... You can have a whole life at your disposal and not get any further.... But you can also complete yourselves in a very short time if this is your serious endeavour, because then you will truly not lack strength. And as soon as you are given knowledge which also assures you an abundance of blessings you can now also consciously strive for perfection, which, however, always requires you to detach yourselves from the world. The extent to which you are willing to do so is also determined by your ability, for the serious will assures you the supply of strength. You humans, however, still expect too much from your life, you still harbour various desires and are not willing to relinquish them.... Nor do you trust Me unreservedly as yet, otherwise you would not doubt that I will also guide you through earthly life, that you need not suffer hardship.... if I recognize that your soul's salvation is of utmost importance to you and you distance yourselves from earthly desires.... For it is I alone Who can give to you but also take away.... Who also provides for you most abundantly if you are willing to make a sacrifice to Me.... For you will truly not come to any harm, for what the body voluntarily relinquishes the soul gains a thousandfold.... And if you consider that you have to give up all earthly goods when your soul relies on your body.... that you cannot take anything over but only your spiritual gain, then you will also realise the worthlessness of earthly goods and try to free yourselves from them for the sake of spiritual advantage. But I cannot force you to renounce, I can only help you by taking away what still hinders you or by placing so many obstacles in your way that you voluntarily give up what is not helpful for your soul's salvation. And you must seriously try to establish this difference between 'fulfilment of duty' and 'your own desire for the world's goods', and if you feel completely free of the latter then you can truly also reach the final goal on this earth, to attain childship to God, for the course of your life will then also be shaped according to the seriousness of your will and striving, always offering you the highest opportunities to reach the highest goals.... But you will not lack strength because then you will enter into My will and your return to Me will be assured....

Erreichen der Gotteskindschaft bedingt Lösen von der Welt....

Alles könnet ihr erreichen, wenn ihr nur den ernsten Willen aufbringet, denn dann werdet ihr auch Kraft empfangen können ungemessen, um auszuführen, was ihr wollet.... Doch gerade euer Wille ist schwach und die Welt hält euch noch zu sehr gefangen, als daß ihr alles hinzugeben bereit wäret.... Wollet ihr aber die Gotteskindschaft erlangen noch auf Erden, so gehört dazu ein völliges Überwinden der Welt.... Ihr müsset euch völlig von der Materie gelöst haben, was jedoch nicht heißt, daß ihr euch als Eremit zurückziehen sollet in die Wüste.... Ihr könnet auch mitten in der Welt stehen und doch gänzlich die Materie überwunden haben, denn mit ihr umzugehen heißt nicht, sie zu begehren. Denn die irdische Pflichterfüllung braucht kein Hindernis zu sein für die Aufwärtsentwicklung der Seele, wenn sie ein Dienst ist an den Mitmenschen und wenn dieser Dienst nicht allein des irdischen Gewinnes wegen verrichtet wird, daß also materielle Güter zu erringen Antrieb der Tätigkeit ist, die der Mensch verrichtet. Auch der Besitz eines Menschen ist kein Hindernis zur restlosen Vergeistigung, wenn er verwendet wird wieder zur dienenden uneigenliebenden Nächstenliebe.... Wird aber die Eigenliebe als erstes befriedigt, dann ist auch der Weg zur Vergeistigung noch sehr weit, dann ist das Streben nach höchstem Ziel noch nicht ernst und also der Wille zu schwach, was auch Kraftmangel zur Folge hat.... Es liegt also an euch Menschen selbst, ob ihr in kurzer Zeit noch zum Ziel kommet.... Es kann euch ein ganzes Leben zur Verfügung stehen, und ihr kommet keinen Schritt weiter.... Ihr könnet aber auch in sehr kurzer Zeit euch vollenden, wenn dies euer ernstes Bestreben ist, weil es euch dann auch wahrlich nicht an Kraft mangeln wird. Und sowie euch ein Wissen zugeführt wird, das euch auch ein Übermaß von Gnaden zusichert, könnet ihr nun auch ganz bewußt eure Vollendung anstreben, was jedoch immer bedingt, euch zu lösen von der Welt. Wieweit ihr dazu willig seid, bestimmt auch eure Fähigkeit, denn der ernste Wille sichert euch die Zufuhr von Kraft. Ihr Menschen aber erwartet immer noch zuviel von eurem Leben, ihr heget noch mancherlei Wünsche und seid nicht bereit, diese aufzugeben.... Ihr vertrauet Mir auch noch nicht schrankenlos, ansonsten ihr nicht zweifeln würdet, daß Ich euch auch durch das Erdenleben hindurchführe, daß ihr nicht Not zu leiden brauchet.... wenn Ich erkenne, daß euer Seelenheil euch vordringlich ist und ihr Abstand nehmet von irdischen Wünschen.... Denn Ich allein bin es, Der euch geben, aber auch nehmen kann.... Der euch auch reichlichst versieht, wenn ihr Mir ein Opfer zu bringen bereit seid.... Denn ihr werdet wahrlich nicht zu Schaden kommen, denn was der Körper freiwillig entbehret, das gewinnt die Seele tausendfach.... Und wenn ihr bedenket, daß ihr alle irdischen Güter hingeben müsset, wenn eure Seele den Leib verlässet.... daß ihr nichts hinübernehmen könnet als nur euren geistigen Gewinn, dann werdet ihr auch die Wertlosigkeit irdischer Güter einsehen und euch frei zu machen suchen davon um geistigen Vorteils willen. Aber Ich kann euch nicht zwingen zum Verzicht, Ich kann euch nur beistehen, indem Ich euch nehme, was euch noch hinderlich ist, oder euch so viele Hindernisse entgegenstelle, daß ihr freiwillig hingebet, was euch nicht dienlich ist für euer Seelenheil. Und diesen Unterschied zwischen "Pflichterfüllung" und "eigenes Verlangen nach den Gütern der Welt" müsset ihr ernsthaft festzustellen suchen, und fühlet ihr euch gänzlich frei von letzterem, dann könnet ihr wahrlich auch das letzte Ziel erreichen auf dieser Erde, zur Gotteskindschaft zu gelangen, denn dem Ernst eures Willens und Strebens entsprechend wird dann auch der Ablauf eures Lebens sich gestalten, immer euch die höchsten Möglichkeiten bietend, höchste Ziele zu erreichen.... An Kraft aber wird es euch nicht mangeln, weil ihr dann in Meinen Willen eingehet und eure Rückkehr zu Mir gesichert ist....
