Proof of love of God: love for the neighbour....

You should prove your love for Me through unselfish love for your neighbour.... Whatever you do to the least of My brothers, you have done to Me. Love for God without love for your neighbour is therefore not possible, for feelings which you then feign for yourselves cannot be judged by Me as 'love', because love will always express itself in works which serve the well-being of the neighbour in need. Love without works is likewise impossible, for love is strength and strength always wants to be active. And therefore you will always have the yardstick for your love: whether it impels you to work, whether your will is stimulated to do works of love. You should seriously give account of this, and you should never pass by your fellow human being's need.... you should only ever seek to alleviate hardship, to give pleasure, to comfort and to help, for you will always recognize hardship around you.... And in particular you should take care of people who are in spiritual hardship. Admittedly, such help is not often accepted, for very few people are open to help for their soul. Nevertheless, again and again you should try to distribute spiritual food and drink wherever possible. Only then will you prove your love for Me when you take care of your fellow human being's spiritual and earthly hardship, who is also My living creation whose soul I want to win. And only such love, which expresses itself in works, will earn you a living faith, which I require in order to grant you eternal beatitude.... "He who believes in Me will be blessed...." But what do you mean by faith which is to earn you this beatitude? I am not satisfied with words by which you want to confirm a "faith".... I first require loving activity, evidence of your love for Me through unselfish neighbourly love. For only this can give birth to a living faith which alone is of value before Me. And as long as your love for your neighbour is still small, as long as you don't behave like a brother towards him, as long as you lack works of love, you should not feel too certain that you will become blessed through 'faith' alone.... For then your faith is only a form.... you just don't contradict it, but you are still far from being alive. And will you then ever awaken the spirit in you to life, which can only come to life through loving activity?.... You are constantly demanded to work with love, yet you only rarely comply with this demand and therefore only living faith can rarely be found. How serious will this error be in the beyond one day, that you believe you don't need works?.... Yet only 'works' follow you, and you can only show a few of them because there was too little strength of love in you which would have been active in works.... Your beatitude will correspond to your degree of love, because only love results in true faith.... But faith without love is dead and will therefore never lead to beatitude. And you should not confuse 'love' with 'feelings' which can easily arise in a person but which nevertheless do not cause him to perform works of love for his neighbour.... And you will truly be offered many opportunities to be lovingly active, and you should never close yourselves off to the requests of your fellow human beings who are in need. You should sincerely want to help them and then you will also be able to do so, because love enlightens your spirit and also shows you the right ways and means, be it earthly or spiritual hardship which you then try to remedy. But don't rely on words which are dead as long as you don't give them life through loving activity.... You will never attain the right understanding of the words which the scriptures contain if you do not awaken the spirit within yourselves through loving activity.... And therefore "works" are demanded of you.... for "whatever you do to the least of My brethren, that you have done to Mean...."

La dimostrazione dell’amore per Dio: l’amore per il prossimo

Dovete dimostrare l’amore per Me attraverso l’amore disinteressato per il prossimo. Quello che fate al minimo dei Miei fratelli, lo avete fatto a Me. Perciò non è possibile un amore per Dio senza l’amore per il prossimo, perché i sentimenti che fingete a voi stessi, non possono essere valutati da Me come “amore”, perché l’amore si manifesterà sempre in opere che servono al bene del prossimo che è nella miseria. L’amore senza le opere è pure impossibile, perché l’amore è la Forza e la Forza vuole sempre diventare attiva. Perciò avrete sempre la misura del grado per il vostro amore: se vi spinge all’agire, se la vostra volontà viene stimolata a svolgere delle opere d’amore. Dovete rendervi seriamente conto e non dovete mai passare oltre alla miseria dei vostri prossimi, dovete sempre soltanto cercare di lenire la miseria, di dare gioia, di consolare ed aiutare, perché riconoscerete sempre la miseria intorno a voi. E dovete prendervi particolarmente cura degli uomini che si trovano nella miseria spirituale. Certo, un tale aiuto sovente non viene accettato, perché la minima parte degli uomini è aperta per questo, cioè che venga data assistenza alla loro anima. Ciononostante dovete sempre di nuovo tentare di distribuire Cibo e Bevanda spirituali, ovunque questo sia possibile. Solo allora Mi dimostrate il vostro amore, quando vi prendete cura della miseria spirituale e terrena del prossimo, che è pure la Mia creatura, la cui anima voglio conquistare. E solo un tale amore manifestandosi nelle opere, vi procurerà una fede viva, che Io pretendo per donarvi l’eterna Beatitudine. “Chi crede in Me, sarà beato.... “ Che cosa intendete però sotto fede, che vi deve procurare una tale Beatitudine? Non Mi accontento di parole con cui volete affermare una “fede”. Dapprima pretendo un agire nell’amore, dimostrazioni del vostro amore per Me tramite l’amore disinteressato per il prossimo, perché solo questo può far nascere una fede viva, che è l’unica ad avere valore dinanzi a Me. E finché il vostro amore per il prossimo è ancora scarso, finché non vi comportate nei suoi confronti come fratello, finché fate mancare opere d’amore, non dovete sentirvi troppo sicuri di diventare beati unicamente tramite la “fede”, perché allora anche la vostra fede è solo formale, non vi contraddite, ma non siete ancora vivi per tanto tempo. Ed allora risveglierete mai alla vita lo spirito in voi, che può essere risvegliato solamente tramite l’agire d’amore? Da voi viene sempre richiesto l’agire d’amore, ma solo raramente seguite questa esortazione, e perciò si trova anche raramente la fede viva. Qual grave effetto avrà una volta questo errore nell’aldilà, che credete di non dover svolgere delle opere. Ma soltanto le “opere” vi seguono e di queste ne potete mostrare solo poche, perché in voi c’era troppa poca forza d’amore che si sarebbe attivato nelle opere. La vostra Beatitudine sarà rispetto al grado d’amore, perché solo l’amore ha anche per conseguenza una vera fede. Una fede senza amore però è morta e di conseguenza non condurrà mai alla Beatitudine. E non dovete mai confondere “l’amore” coi “sentimenti” che possono sorgere facilmente in un uomo, che però non lo inducono ancora a svolgere delle opere d’amore al prossimo. Vi viene offerta davvero molta occasione per attivarvi nell’amore, non dovete mai chiudervi alla richiesta dei vostri prossimi che sono nella miseria. Dovete voler aiutarli ad alzarsi, ed allora lo potete anche fare, perché l’amore rischiara il vostro spirito e v’indica anche i giusti mezzi e vie, siano questi delle miserie terrene oppure anche spirituali, che ora voi cercate di sospendere. Ma non affidatevi a parole che sono morte, finché non date loro la vita attraverso l’agire nell’amore. Non arriverete mai alla giusta comprensione delle Parole celate nella Bibbia, se attraverso opere d’amore non risvegliate in voi lo spirito. Perciò vengono pretese da voi delle “opere”, perché “quello che avete fatto al minimo dei Miei fratello, lo avete fatto a Me.
