Proof of love of God: love for the neighbour....

You should prove your love for Me through unselfish love for your neighbour.... Whatever you do to the least of My brothers, you have done to Me. Love for God without love for your neighbour is therefore not possible, for feelings which you then feign for yourselves cannot be judged by Me as 'love', because love will always express itself in works which serve the well-being of the neighbour in need. Love without works is likewise impossible, for love is strength and strength always wants to be active. And therefore you will always have the yardstick for your love: whether it impels you to work, whether your will is stimulated to do works of love. You should seriously give account of this, and you should never pass by your fellow human being's need.... you should only ever seek to alleviate hardship, to give pleasure, to comfort and to help, for you will always recognize hardship around you.... And in particular you should take care of people who are in spiritual hardship. Admittedly, such help is not often accepted, for very few people are open to help for their soul. Nevertheless, again and again you should try to distribute spiritual food and drink wherever possible. Only then will you prove your love for Me when you take care of your fellow human being's spiritual and earthly hardship, who is also My living creation whose soul I want to win. And only such love, which expresses itself in works, will earn you a living faith, which I require in order to grant you eternal beatitude.... "He who believes in Me will be blessed...." But what do you mean by faith which is to earn you this beatitude? I am not satisfied with words by which you want to confirm a "faith".... I first require loving activity, evidence of your love for Me through unselfish neighbourly love. For only this can give birth to a living faith which alone is of value before Me. And as long as your love for your neighbour is still small, as long as you don't behave like a brother towards him, as long as you lack works of love, you should not feel too certain that you will become blessed through 'faith' alone.... For then your faith is only a form.... you just don't contradict it, but you are still far from being alive. And will you then ever awaken the spirit in you to life, which can only come to life through loving activity?.... You are constantly demanded to work with love, yet you only rarely comply with this demand and therefore only living faith can rarely be found. How serious will this error be in the beyond one day, that you believe you don't need works?.... Yet only 'works' follow you, and you can only show a few of them because there was too little strength of love in you which would have been active in works.... Your beatitude will correspond to your degree of love, because only love results in true faith.... But faith without love is dead and will therefore never lead to beatitude. And you should not confuse 'love' with 'feelings' which can easily arise in a person but which nevertheless do not cause him to perform works of love for his neighbour.... And you will truly be offered many opportunities to be lovingly active, and you should never close yourselves off to the requests of your fellow human beings who are in need. You should sincerely want to help them and then you will also be able to do so, because love enlightens your spirit and also shows you the right ways and means, be it earthly or spiritual hardship which you then try to remedy. But don't rely on words which are dead as long as you don't give them life through loving activity.... You will never attain the right understanding of the words which the scriptures contain if you do not awaken the spirit within yourselves through loving activity.... And therefore "works" are demanded of you.... for "whatever you do to the least of My brethren, that you have done to Mean...."

Prueba del amor por Dios - Amor al prójimo....

Debéis demostrar el amor por Mí a través del amor desinteresado al prójimo.... Todo lo que hagáis al más pequeño de Mis hermanos, a Mí Me lo hacéis.... Por lo tanto, el amor a Dios sin el amor al prójimo no es posible, porque sentimientos, que vosotros mismos entonces estáis fingiendo no pueden ser valorados por Mí como “amor”, porque el amor siempre se expresará en obras que sirven al bienestar del prójimo que está necesitado. El amor sin obras es igualmente imposible, porque el amor es fuerza, y la fuerza siempre quiere estar activa. Y por eso tendréis siempre la medida de vuestro amor; si os impulsa para obrar, si vuestra voluntad es estimulada a realizar obras de amor.

Debéis tomar esto seriamente en cuenta y nunca debéis ignorar la necesidad de vuestros semejantes.... siempre debéis tratar de aliviar la necesidad, traer alegría, consolar y ayudar, porque siempre reconoceréis la necesidad alrededor de vosotros.... Y en particular debéis cuidar de los humanos que se encuentran en una necesidad espiritual. Esta ayuda no suele ser aceptada, porque sólo muy pocos humanos están dispuestos a recibir ayuda para su alma.

Sin embargo, siempre debéis tratar de distribuir comida y bebida espiritual siempre que sea posible. Sólo entonces Me demostráis vuestro amor cuando os ocupéis de las necesidades espirituales y terrenales de vuestros semejantes, que también son Mis criaturas, cuyas almas quiero ganar. Y sólo ese amor expresado en obras os dará una fe viva, la cual exijo para daros la felicidad eterna.... “El que cree en Mí será feliz”.... Pero ¿qué entendéis bajo la fe, la cual debería traeros esta felicidad?

No Me contentaré con palabras con las que queréis confirmar una “creencia”.... Exijo ante todo obrar en el amor, pruebas de vuestro amor por Mí a través del amor al prójimo desinteresado. Porque sólo esto puede dar origen a una fe viva que es la única que tiene valor ante Mí. Y mientras vuestro amor por el prójimo sea todavía bajo, mientras no es comportéis con él como a un hermano, mientras os falten obras de amor, no debéis sentiros demasiado seguros de que seréis salvos sólo por la fe.... Porque entonces vuestra fe es sólo una forma.... solamente que no la contradecís, pero todavía estáis lejos de estar vivos. ¿Y entonces, alguna vez podréis dar vida al espíritu dentro de vosotros que sólo puede cobrar vida a través de la obra de amor?....

Se os exige constantemente obrar en el amor, pero sólo rara vez cumplís con este requisito y por eso sólo rara vez se encuentra una fe viva. ¡Cuán grave será este error un día en la otra vida si creéis no necesitar de las obras.... Pero sólo las “obras” os siguen y de éstas sólo podéis mostrar muy pocas, porque había muy poca fuerza de amor en vosotros que habría estado activa en la obras! Vuestra felicidad corresponde al grado del amor, porque sólo el amor da como resultado una fe recta.... Pero un fe sin amor está muerta y, por lo tanto, nunca conducirá a la felicidad. Y no se debe confundir “amor” con “sentimientos” que fácilmente pueden surgir en un ser humano, pero que no la llevan a realizar obras de amor hacia el prójimo....

Y verdaderamente se os ofrecerán muchas oportunidades para actuar con amor y nunca debéis hacer la vista gorda ante las peticiones de vuestros semejantes necesitados. Debéis querer ayudarlos sinceramente, y entonces también podréis hacerlo, porque el amor ilumina vuestro espíritu y os muestra los caminos y los medios correctos, ya sean necesidades terrenales o espirituales, que ahora estáis tratando de resolver. Pero no os fiéis solo de las palabras que están muertas, mientras no les deis vida mediante las obras de amor.... Nunca llegaréis a entender correctamente las Palabras que contiene la Escritura mientras no despertáis en espíritu en vosotros a través de obras de amor.... Y es por eso que exige “obras” de vosotros.... porque, “lo que hagáis al más pequeño de Mis hermanos, a Mí lo habéis hecho”....
