How to follow Jesus....

He is My true follower who makes an effort to live on earth as I did, who stands firm in suffering, bears it with patience and perfects himself in love, for he will mature in his soul. I can only ever advise you to 'follow Jesus', for the man Jesus has taken this path on earth.... His life had truly been hard, yet He bore it humbly, He took up the battle against darkness, i.e., He tried to re-establish order and to enlighten people as to why they lived in spiritual darkness and what they should do to escape this darkness. He consciously walked the path of suffering and love.... And He shaped Himself such that I was able to take abode in Him.... And you should all walk this path and through love and sorrow try to shape yourselves such that I Myself, Who is the Eternal Love, can be present to you. You must follow Me, you must try to imitate the life I lived in the human being Jesus. And this first of all requires the will to unite yourselves with Me again.... Only love can accomplish this union, and suffering purifies your soul which still harbours many immature particles. It also spiritualises the body, so that it conforms to the desires of the spirit within you, so that it matures simultaneously with the soul and the union with Me can take place. This purification must come first, and for the sake of this purification you are living on earth.... And as soon as you take Me as an example your life on earth will not be in vain, it will take you to the goal: complete spiritualisation and unification with Me....

A human being had to become an example to you or you would always have raised the objection that you cannot follow Me because it is beyond your ability, beyond your strength.... However, the path I walked on earth as a human being Myself was so arranged that every person would be able to follow Me. Nothing impossible is demanded of you, nothing is expected of you that a sinful person cannot accomplish, for I took all your weaknesses and faults into account, I identified Myself with every person's inclination and circumstances.... for whatever they may be . . . if you live a life of love then you also gather the strength which lets you accomplish even the most difficult task.... You will grow above yourselves, for you receive the strength from Me, just as I, thanks to the love within Myself, also had the strength at My disposal which enabled Me to be victorious in the battle against darkness, in the battle against all temptations by My adversary and against all cravings of the flesh.... Love is strength, and therefore I first had to preach love and live a life of love Myself in order to set you the right example of the way of life which leads you out of the abyss towards the pinnacle, that liberates you from the adversary.... For love is the only weapon to which he succumbs. You have to follow Me if you want to become free from his control.... And neither can suffering be avoided if your soul is to become bright and clear which, in its human incarnation, is still full of impurities because it is still in the domain of the one who changed his nature to the opposite, who thus can be called 'evil' in the true sense of the word and to whose nature you conformed when you deserted Me and followed him into the abyss of your own free will....

Admittedly, due to their process through the creations the tiny particles of soul have become much purer when they united again as the soul of a human being, but many impurities will still have to be removed, which can only ever be accomplished by love and suffering.... The forgiveness of your guilt of sin will indeed be guaranteed as soon as you acknowledge Me in Jesus Christ and appeal for forgiveness of it.... And that means that on your departure from this world you will find the gate to the kingdom of light open to you.... But the intensity of light that will then shine upon you is very different.... And you will be extremely happy if your soul can be completely permeated, if the light is not obstructed by any impurities which still have to be dissolved.... And because you can already achieve on earth that your soul will be bright and translucent at the time of its passing away from earth you shall also humbly and patiently endure all suffering on earth.... you always ought to bear in mind that it is only beneficial for the maturity of your soul, you should not try to evade all affliction and always pray 'Father, Thy will be done....' For I know why I let you walk the path of suffering and why I spoke the Words 'Follow Me....' If you always try to imagine that I have walked the path before you, which has been so much harder and more sorrowful than yours, then for love of Me you should accept everything I send or allow to happen to you, for that is the light cross you have to bear in your earthly life, which only ever benefits your soul....

De ware navolging van Jezus

Mijn ware navolger is hij die zijn best doet net zoals Ik te leven op aarde, die in het leed standhoudt en het gelaten draagt en die de liefde in zich tot ontplooiing brengt, want diens ziel zal geheel rijp worden. Ik kan altijd alleen maar tot navolging van Jezus aanmanen, want de mens Jezus is deze weg gegaan op aarde. Zijn leven is waarlijk zwaar geweest, maar Hij droeg het berustend. Hij ging de strijd aan met de duisternis, dat wil zeggen Hij trachtte overal de orde te herstellen en de mensen een licht te brengen waarom ze zich in de duisternis van geest bevonden en wat ze moesten doen om uit deze duisternis een uitweg te vinden. Hij ging bewust de weg van het lijden en de liefde. En daarom vormde Hij zich zelf zo dat Ik in Hem verblijf kon nemen. En deze weg zult u allen moeten gaan en door liefde en leed trachten u zo te vormen dat Ik zelf, Die de eeuwige Liefde ben, bij u aanwezig kan zijn.

U zult Mij moeten navolgen. U zult moeten proberen het leven na te leven dat Ik heb geleid in de mens Jezus. En als eerste behoort daartoe de wil u weer met Mij te verenigen. Alleen de liefde brengt deze vereniging tot stand en het leed zuivert uw ziel, die nog veel onrijpe deeltjes bevat. Ook het lichaam vergeestelijkt, zodat het zich ook bij het verlangen van de geest in u aansluit, dat het tegelijk met de ziel rijp zal worden en de aaneensluiting met Mij nu kan plaatsvinden. Deze loutering moet vooraf hebben plaatsgevonden en ten behoeve van de loutering bent u op de aarde. En zodra u zich Mij als voorbeeld neemt, zal ook uw aardse leven niet tevergeefs zijn. Het zal u het doel opleveren: volledige vergeestelijking en aaneensluiting met Mij.

Er moest u een mens tot voorbeeld dienen, daar u anders steeds de tegenwerping zou hebben geopperd Mij niet te kunnen navolgen omdat dit boven uw vermogen, boven uw krachten zou gaan. Maar de weg die Ik ben gegaan als zelf mens op de aarde, was zo gericht dat ieder mens Mij daarop kon volgen. Er wordt niet onmogelijks van u verlangd, er wordt niets verlangd wat de zondige mens niet kan volbrengen, want met al uw zwakheden en fouten heb Ik rekening gehouden. In de aanleg en omstandigheden van ieder mens heb Ik Me ingeleefd, want wat het ook mag zijn: leeft u in de liefde dan vergaart u zich ook kracht die u ook het zwaarste zal laten volbrengen. U groeit boven uzelf uit, want u ontleent de kracht aan Mij, zoals Ik door de Liefde Die in Mij was ook over de kracht heb beschikt die Mij in de strijd met de duisternis, de strijd tegen alle verzoekingen door mijn tegenstander, boven alle begeerten van het vlees, zegevierend liet standhouden. Liefde is kracht en daarom moest Ik op de eerste plaats de liefde prediken en zelf in de liefde leven om u een juist voorbeeld te geven van de levenswandel die u uit de diepte wegvoert omhoog, die u vrij laat worden van de tegenstander, want de liefde is het enige wapen waartegen hij het aflegt. U zult Mij moeten navolgen als u bevrijd wilt worden uit zijn macht.

En ook het leed is niet te omzeilen, want uw ziel moet licht en helder worden, die bij de belichaming als mens nog vol aanklevingen is omdat ze zich nog in het gebied ophoudt van diegene die zijn wezen veranderde, die dus in de waarste zin van het woord "slecht" kan worden genoemd en aan wiens wezen u zich heeft aangepast toen u zich van Mij weg spoedde naar de diepte toen u hem in vrije wil gevolgd bent. De zielenpartikeltjes waren weliswaar door de gang door de scheppingen al veel meer gelouterd toen ze zich tot de ziel van de mens weer aaneensloten, maar er zijn nog veel aanklevingen af te stoten, wat altijd alleen liefde en leed teweegbrengen.

De vergeving van uw zondenschuld is voor u weliswaar zeker zodra u Mij in Jezus Christus erkent en om vergeving smeekt, en dit betekent dat u dan bij het scheiden van deze aarde ook de poort naar het lichtrijk geopend zult vinden, maar het licht dat u nu tegemoet straalt, is zeer verschillend in graad. En uitermate gelukkig zult u zijn wanneer uw ziel geheel en al doorstraald kan worden, wanneer het licht geen aanklevingen meer aantreft die nog moeten worden opgelost.

En omdat u op aarde al zult kunnen bereiken dat uw ziel helder en licht doorlatend is bij uw heengaan van de aarde, zult u ook alle leed op aarde berustend en geduldig moeten dragen. U moet er steeds aan denken dat het alleen maar bevorderlijk is voor de rijpheid van uw ziel. U moet niet proberen u van alle leed te ontdoen, u moet steeds bidden: "Vader, Uw wil geschiede." Want Ik weet waarom Ik u de weg van het leed laat gaan en waarom Ik de woorden heb gesproken: "Volg Mij na." Wanneer u zich steeds tracht voor te stellen dat Ik u de weg ben voorgegaan die heel wat zwaarder en smartelijker is geweest dan nu de uwe, dan zult u uit liefde voor Mij alles op u nemen wat Ik over u zend of toelaat. Want dat is het kleine kruisje dat u werd opgelegd te dragen voor uw leven op aarde en dat altijd alleen maar heilzaam is voor uw ziel.
