Evaluating grace....

And never will you need to do without the grace of God, who are only of good will. His grace is bestowed upon you without measure.... But if you are not willing to let it take effect in you, then it will be of no use to you. And thus you can say: The will is the first thing.... even though God's grace is available to every person at any time and without measure. But what use is it to you if your will does not allow it to take effect? God's measure of grace is inexhaustible, and it would truly suffice to still help you achieve complete spiritualization on this earth.... But your will is always decisive, and it is free. When the human being enters this earth he is a completely weakened creature which would never be able to ascend on its own. And then God's help steps in.... He constantly endeavours to help the human being so that his soul will progress in its development. And all this help is a means of grace, it is a gift for the totally weakened soul so that it will gain strength and enable its ascent.... But nevertheless, the human being's will must first be willing to accept these gifts and make use of them, for he is not forced to do so, and therefore it depends on the human being's free will whether he avails himself of the blessings which are truly available to him without measure. He can also disregard all of God's help and do nothing for his soul, he can only pay attention to worldly life and pass by all gifts of grace without making use of them.... Then his will has failed, he has taken a wrong direction and the human being remains as weak and immature as he was at the beginning of his embodiment.... So then he has been heedless of grace, but he cannot say that the 'grace of God' has been withheld from him. Yet his will did not make it effective, which is the same as if he had remained without grace. God is always ready to help, thus proofs of grace of His love constantly flow to the human being. Whether they are accepted and evaluated is up to the human being, that is determined solely by his will, but not by God's will. But not having accepted God's grace is synonymous with complete failure on this earth, because without divine help the human being is too weak to develop upwards.... And the human being's will is then ready to accept divine grace when he consciously turns to God, when the human being seeks God and wants to make contact with Him. Then he will also feel every help from God as a gift of grace and accept it with a grateful heart; he will also feel God's love and now consciously strive towards Him, and his ascent development will proceed because the graces will now also be evaluated, i.e. the helping hand of God will be grasped by which the human being will now swing himself upwards and his initial weakness will fall away from him, for God's grace gives strength to every soul which seriously struggles for perfection, which longs for God and will certainly reach its aim one day....

Auswerten der Gnaden....

Und nimmer werdet ihr die Gnade Gottes zu entbehren brauchen, die ihr nur guten Willens seid. Seine Gnade geht euch ungemessen zu.... Seid ihr aber nicht willens, sie wirksam werden zu lassen an euch, dann nützet sie euch nichts. Und so könnet ihr sagen: Der Wille ist das Erste.... wenngleich jedem Menschen ungemessen und zu jeder Zeit die Gnade Gottes zur Verfügung steht. Was aber nützet sie euch, wenn euer Wille sie nicht wirksam werden lässet? Das Gnadenmaß Gottes ist unerschöpflich, und es würde auch wahrlich genügen, euch zur völligen Vergeistigung auf dieser Erde noch zu verhelfen.... Immer aber ist euer Wille ausschlaggebend, und dieser ist frei. Wenn der Mensch diese Erde betritt, dann ist er ein völlig geschwächtes Geschöpf, das aus eigener Kraft nimmermehr zur Höhe gelangen könnte. Und dann tritt die Hilfe Gottes ein.... Er ist unentwegt bemüht, dem Menschen Hilfe zu leisten, auf daß seine Seele fortschreite in ihrer Entwicklung. Und alle diese Hilfeleistungen sind Gnadenmittel, es sind Geschenke für die total geschwächte Seele, daß sie zu Kraft gelange und ihr die Aufwärtsentwicklung möglich wird.... Aber dennoch muß erst der Wille des Menschen bereit sein, diese Geschenke anzunehmen und sie auszuwerten, denn dazu wird er nicht gezwungen, und darum also hängt es vom freien Willen des Menschen ab, ob er sich der Gnaden bedienet, die ihm wahrlich ungemessen zur Verfügung stehen. Er kann auch alle Hilfeleistungen Gottes außer acht lassen und nichts tun für seine Seele, er kann nur dem weltlichen Leben Beachtung schenken und an allen Gnadengeschenken vorübergehen, ohne sie zu nützen.... Dann hat sein Wille versagt, er hat eine verkehrte Richtung eingeschlagen, und es bleibt der Mensch so schwach und unausgereift, wie er zu Beginn seiner Verkörperung gewesen ist.... Dann also hat er der Gnaden nicht geachtet, aber er kann nicht sagen, daß ihm die "Gnade Gottes" vorenthalten worden sei. Doch sein Wille hat sie nicht wirksam werden lassen, was das gleiche ist, als wäre er ohne Gnade geblieben. Gott ist immer zur Hilfe bereit, also ständig fließen dem Menschen Gnadenbeweise Seiner Liebe zu. Ob sie angenommen und ausgewertet werden, das steht dem Menschen frei, das bestimmt allein dessen Wille, nicht aber der Wille Gottes. Aber die Gnaden Gottes nicht angenommen zu haben ist gleichbedeutend mit völligem Versagen auf dieser Erde, weil der Mensch ohne göttliche Hilfe zu schwach ist, sich aufwärtszuentwickeln.... Und der Wille des Menschen ist dann bereit zur Annahme göttlicher Gnaden, wenn er sich bewußt zu Gott kehrt, wenn der Mensch Gott suchet und mit Ihm in Verbindung treten möchte. Dann wird er auch jede Hilfeleistung (2) Gottes als Gnadengeschenk (1) empfinden und annehmen mit dankendem Herzen; er wird auch die Liebe Gottes spüren und nun bewußt Ihm zustreben, und seine Aufwärtsentwicklung wird vonstatten gehen, weil die Gnaden nun auch ausgewertet werden, d.h. die helfende Hand Gottes ergriffen wird, an der sich nun der Mensch emporschwingt, und seine anfängliche Schwäche abfällt von ihm, denn die Gnade Gottes schenkt Kraft jeder Seele, die ernstlich ringet um Vollkommenheit, die zu Gott verlangt und auch sicher einmal ihr Ziel erreichen wird....
