The birth of Christ.... I.

Salvation has come from above.... How many lips utter this and how often is the heart unaffected, insofar as that the human being not even once seriously reflects on the meaning of Jesus Christ's coming down to earth. A child was born, Whose soul descended from the kingdom of light because God wanted to embody Himself in this infant. The infant Jesus was a human being, born to Mary, the virgin, who conceived him through the strength of the spirit.... The human being Jesus started His earthly course of life like everyone else, yet the side effects of His birth were not those of an ordinary person but they indicated that an exceptional cover also sheltered an exceptional boy child.... that it should be the cover for the Eternal Deity Which was only able to manifest Itself in a pure and sinless human being, as was the boy child Jesus. For He had to carry out a mission of such immense significance that the requirements for it also had to be exceptional. God Himself wanted to take abode in the infant Jesus and chose for Himself an immaculate form which also harboured an immaculate soul, in which the Eternal Deity was able to dwell in order to accomplish the act of Salvation for the whole of the human race. The fact that God Himself descended to earth was an act of overwhelming compassion, for Earth was covered in profound darkness and all its inhabitants too, they were controlled and gagged by the prince of darkness and languished under the pressure of slavery in sin and agony. And God knew the hardship of His living creations which once had voluntarily separated themselves from Him and, entangling themselves in ever deeper darkness, no longer found a way out and cried for a Saviour to liberate them. God heard their cry and sent His Son to earth.... a Being Which likewise emerged from His might and love and Which remained in His abundance of light when His brothers plunged themselves into the darkness. Jesus' soul was devoted to God with boundless love but it also loved its fallen brothers and wanted to help them return into the Father's house because it knew that happiness and bliss are only possible in God's presence and that the distance from Him meant hardship, agony and darkness.

Jesus knew both conditions and His love for the wretched being motivated Him to offer Himself as a sacrifice in order to remove the guilt of sin which was immense, and the beings which became sinful would never have been able to make

Amends for it themselves. Yet a pure and blameless soul wanted to sacrifice itself for their sins in order to redeem the guilt and to satisfy God's righteousness. For the soul was love.... And this love was God.... God or love permeated the man Jesus, so that He wanted to accomplish an act of greatest suffering and agony for the sake of these fallen brothers. And thus God Himself descended to earth in Jesus and entered a human form which corresponded to all preconditions in order to shelter the Eternal Deity Himself without fading away.... The infant Jesus was full of love and all hearts entering His ray of love became permeated by love, singing praise and giving thanks, for only people came to the infant's manger whose hearts were pure and devoted to God and who therefore felt the love emanated by the infant and who came aglow with burning love for the Jesus child. Although the events surrounding Jesus' birth are now only regarded a myth, anyone who is filled by the spirit of God, whose spirit is awakened, knows that everything which has been preserved as knowledge about the birth of Jesus is the truth. Miracles upon miracles happened around the child Itself, in nature, in Heaven and on Earth, and all the angles bowed down on bended knees before the One Who had embodied Himself in the infant Jesus, just as men and animals were seized by holiest awe and silence when the greatest wonder, God's human manifestation in Jesus, was taking place. And the heart of anyone with an awakened spirit will also convincingly speak the Words 'Salvation has come from above....' For the light of love of the Saviour Jesus Christ likewise shines on him, he belongs to those for whom the Saviour came to earth to save them, he belongs to the redeemed, for whom the act of compassion on the cross was accomplished, because he wanted to become redeemed from sin and death. And he will not just pay lip service to the birth of Christ, with his heart he will think of everything that happened during that night when the light of the world came down to earth, when the infant Jesus came into the world. And he will join in singing the hymn of praise 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men of good will....'

Nochebuena, Navidad 1958. El Nacimiento de Cristo

“La Salvación ha llegado desde lo Alto”... Cuántos labios pronuncian estas palabras, y cuántas veces el corazón no participa en ello... Pues el hombre ni siquiera se acuerda verdaderamente qué significa la Encarnación de Jesucristo en la Tierra.

Nació un Niño cuya Alma descendió del Reino de la Luz, porque en este Niño Dios mismo quería encarnarse. El Niño Jesús era un Hombre al que la Virgen dio a Luz, la que le había concebido por la Fuerza del Espíritu.

El Hombre Jesús comenzó su “Carrera” por la Tierra como cualquier otro hombre, pero los fenómenos concomitantes de su Nacimiento no fueron los de un ser humano normal, sino que señalaron que una envoltura extraordinaria también contenía niño extraordinario... que iba a ser la envoltura de la eterna Divinidad que sólo podía manifestarse en un ser humano puro, exento te todo pecado, como era el caso con el Niño Jesús. Pues este tenía que cumplir con una Misión de tanta importancia que también los requisitos indispensables para ello tenían que ser extraordinarios.

Dios mismo quería tomar morada en este Niño Jesús. Por eso eligió una Forma impecable que también poseía un Alma impecable en la cual la eterna Divinidad ahora podía tomar morada para llevar a cabo la Obra de Redención para toda la humanidad.

Que Dios mismo descendió a la Tierra fue una grandiosa Obra de Misericordia, porque la Tierra se encontraba en tinieblas profundas, como también todos sus habitantes; porque estos estaban dominados por el príncipe de las tinieblas, y languidecían en su cautividad pues hubo mucho pecado y tormento.

Dios estaba consciente de la miseria de sus criaturas que hace tiempos remotos voluntariamente se habían separado de Él... y como cada vez más embrollados en tinieblas más profundas ya no encontraban una salida, clamaron por un Salvador para que los liberase.

Dios hizo caso a su llamada y les envió su Hijo a la Tierra - un Ser que también había surgido de Su Poder y Amor, y que había permanecido en Su Plenitud de Luz cuando sus hermanos mismos se lanzaron hacia abajo a las tinieblas...

El Alma de Jesús alimentaba un Amor extraordinario a Dios, pero también amaba a sus hermanos caídos y quería ayudarles para su regreso a la Casa del Padre; pues sabía que únicamente en la presencia de Dios había felicidad y bienaventuranza, mientras que en su ausencia sólo existen apuros, tormento y tinieblas. Jesús conocía ambos estados, y su Amor a los desgraciados le indujo a ofrecerse a sí mismo a Dios para consumar el Sacrificio, para expiar esa culpa que era inmensa... pues nunca el pecador habría podido expiarla él mismo.

Pero había un Alma pura y sin pecados que quería sacrificarse para los pecados de aquellos desgraciados, para redimir la culpa y satisfacer la Justicia de Dios. Porque el Alma era Amor... el Amor era Dios... Dios, o sea el Amor colmaba al Hombre Jesús, de modo que Él (Jesús) quería llevar a cabo una Obra que implicaba extremos sufrimientos y tormentos por la causa de aquellos hermanos caídos.

De modo que en Jesús Dios mismo descendió a la Tierra y ocupó una forma humana que satisfacía todas las condiciones para albergar en sí la eterna Divinidad misma sin que la forma corriera el riesgo de perecerse. El Niño Jesús estaba colmado de Amor, y todo que penetró en su Rayo de Amor, su corazón se llenó de amor, de alabanza y de gratitud, porque a la cuna del Niño sólo se acercaron seres humanos cuyos corazones eran puros y devotos a Dios - seres humanos que por eso también sintieron el Amor que el Niño irradiaba... por lo que en ellos surgió un profundo amor al Niño Jesús.

Bien es verdad que los fenómenos concomitantes del Nacimiento de Jesús sólo ya son considerados como leyendas; pero todo aquel que está penetrado del Espíritu de Dios –cuyo espíritu está despierto– él también sabe que todo lo que todavía se ha mantenido como saber sobre el Nacimiento de Jesús es Verdad. Hubo milagros tras milagros acerca del Niño mismo, en la naturaleza, en el cielo y en la Tierra, y en el Cielo todos los ángeles se postraron ante Aquel que se encarnó en el Niño Jesús... Y también los hombres y animales sentían un respeto y un silencio sagrado cuando se realizó la Encarnación de Dios en Jesús.

Aquel cuyo espíritu está despierto, también dirá todo convencido: “La Salvación nos ha llegado desde lo Alto...”, porque también a él irradia el Rayo de Amor del Salvador Jesucristo... él forma parte de aquellos por cuya Salvación el Salvador vino a la Tierra... él forma parte de los redimidos para los que la Obra de Redención fue llevada a cabo, pues él también anhelaba la Redención del pecado y de la muerte.

Y cuando este hablará del Nacimiento de Cristo, no lo hará solamente con los labios sino con el corazón, pues revive en sus pensamientos todo que sucedió en aquella noche cuando la Luz del Mundo descendió a la Tierra... cuando el Niño Jesús nació y vio la Luz de este Mundo. Él acompañará en el canto de alabanza: “Gloria a Dios en las Alturas, y paz en la Tierra a los hombres de buena voluntad”.
