Dead knowledge.... spiritual blindness.... love....

The characteristic of spiritual maturity cannot be denied if the human being is in a degree of realization which was not acquired intellectually, through learning or instruction from outside. 'Realization' is knowledge which corresponds to truth but which is also understood by the human being, for truth can also be supplied to a person from outside without being fully understood. And this then proves that spiritual maturity has not yet been reached, that such knowledge is therefore of no great use to the human being either.... unless he allows it to take effect in his heart and makes an effort to live his life in accordance with this knowledge. Most people, however, only intellectually accept spiritual knowledge and therefore cannot speak of 'realization'. And therefore God makes demands on the human being.... A second inner life is, as it were, demanded in addition to his natural life. And only then can he be made happy with inner clarity, with understanding for everything in creation, for all correlations and also for his right relationship with God.... And only this knowledge, this realiz

ation, proves that man's walk on earth was not in vain.... it proves that he has already established contact with his God and creator and that he feels himself to be a child of his father and can register spiritual progress at the end of his earthly life. However, many people are of the opinion that it is enough if people are given spiritual ideas, and they then believe that they are fulfilling their task on earth if they only ever ensure that such spiritual knowledge is not lost, that it is always passed on to the following generations. They believe it is enough that people only know about a God and creator, about a divine redeemer, about life after death.... but they do not draw their consequences from this knowledge.... they do not let it become the impetus for a way of life according to God's will. And thus that knowledge is also of no value, it is dead knowledge because it has no life-awakening effect.... And therefore it is also no knowledge.... And if you humans look at humanity's spiritual state then this must also be understandable to you, for spiritual 'knowledge' is certainly spread throughout the world and yet people are blind in spirit.... If you humans would strive to attain realization then your spiritual development would truly look better. But as long as you are content with knowledge alone, which admittedly contains spiritual teachings, your spiritual state will not improve either, and you are not much better off than a person who is devoid of all knowledge.... But knowledge is the result of a life of love.... And love alone also brings the soul to maturity.... Love simultaneously imparts understanding with the knowledge imparted to the human being in the spiritual sphere. And love is also the bond with God, love is the light which illuminates everything.... love is the divine in the human being which no longer tolerates blindness, no veil, no ignorance.... Love is a part of God and therefore also like God all-seeing and all-knowing.... For a person who lets love flare up within himself there is no more darkness, there are no more unsolved problems, there is only light and strength, a bright recognition of that which was initially obvious to all beings.... And therefore only love can bring about the maturing of the soul, only love can earn the human being the light of realization, and only love can bring about the union with God, the original source of light and strength.... And it will be obvious when this union has taken place, when the human being moves in the light of realization, when he is able to give enlightenment and only draws his wisdom from himself.... for he then gives testimony of God's presence, Who now obviously works in and on him....

Totes Wissen.... Geistige Blindheit.... Liebe....

Das Merkmal geistiger Reife kann nicht abgeleugnet werden, wenn sich der Mensch in einem Erkenntnisgrad befindet, der nicht auf verstandesmäßigem Wege, durch Lernen oder Unterricht von außen, erworben wurde. "Erkenntnis" ist ein Wissen, das der Wahrheit entspricht, das aber auch von dem Menschen verstanden wird, denn auch die Wahrheit kann einem Menschen zugeführt werden von außen, ohne daß sie volles Verständnis findet. Und das beweiset dann, daß die geistige Reife noch nicht erreicht worden ist, daß also ein solches Wissen auch dem Menschen keinen großen Nutzen bringt.... es sei denn, er läßt es einwirken in sein Herz und bemüht sich, jenem Wissen gemäß auch seinen Lebenswandel zu führen. Die meisten Menschen aber nehmen nur verstandesmäßig ein Geistesgut entgegen und können darum noch lange nicht von "Erkenntnis" sprechen. Und darum werden von seiten Gottes an den Menschen Anforderungen gestellt.... es wird gleichsam ein zweites, innerliches Leben neben seinem naturmäßigen Leben verlangt. Und dann erst kann er beglückt werden mit innerer Klarheit, mit Verständnis für alles in der Schöpfung, für alle Zusammenhänge und auch für sein rechtes Verhältnis zu Gott.... Und erst dieses Wissen, diese Erkenntnis, beweiset, daß des Menschen Erdengang nicht vergeblich war.... es beweiset, daß er schon den Kontakt hergestellt hat mit seinem Gott und Schöpfer und daß er sich selbst als Kind seines Vaters fühlt und er einen geistigen Fortschritt verzeichnen kann am Ende seines Erdenlebens. Es besteht nun aber vielfach die Ansicht, daß es genüge, wenn den Menschen geistiges Gedankengut nahegebracht wird, und sie glauben dann also ihre Erdenaufgabe zu erfüllen, wenn sie immer nur dafür sorgen, daß ein solches Geistesgut nicht verlorengehe, daß es immer wieder übertragen wird auf die folgenden Generationen. Sie glauben, es genüge, daß die Menschen nur wissen um einen Gott und Schöpfer, um einen göttlichen Erlöser, um ein Leben nach dem Tode.... aber sie ziehen nicht aus diesem Wissen ihre Konsequenz.... sie lassen es nicht zum Antrieb werden für einen Lebenswandel nach dem Willen Gottes. Und also ist auch jenes Wissen nicht von Wert, es ist totes Wissen, weil es keine lebenerweckende Wirkung hat.... Und also ist es auch keine Erkenntnis.... Und wenn ihr Menschen euch die geistige Verfassung der Menschheit betrachtet, dann muß euch dies auch verständlich sein, denn das geistige "Wissen" ist wohl überall in der Welt verbreitet, und dennoch sind die Menschen blind im Geist.... Wenn ihr Menschen danach trachten würdet, zur Erkenntnis zu gelangen, dann sähe es wahrlich auch besser aus um eure geistige Entwicklung. Solange ihr euch aber mit dem Wissen allein begnügt, das zwar geistige Lehren zum Inhalt hat, wird sich auch euer Geisteszustand nicht heben, und ihr seid nicht viel besser daran als ein Mensch, der bar ist jeglichen Wissens.... Die Erkenntnis aber ist Folge eines Liebelebens.... Und die Liebe allein bringt auch die Seele zum Ausreifen.... Die Liebe vermittelt zugleich das Verständnis mit dem dem Menschen zugeführten Wissen auf geistigem Gebiet. Und die Liebe ist auch die Bindung mit Gott, die Liebe ist das Licht, das alles erleuchtet.... die Liebe ist das Göttliche im Menschen, das keine Blindheit, keinen Schleier, keine Unwissenheit mehr duldet.... Die Liebe ist Anteil Gottes und also auch gleich Gott alles-durchschauend und alles erkennend.... Es gibt für einen Menschen, der die Liebe in sich aufflammen läßt, keine Dunkelheit mehr, es gibt keine ungelösten Probleme, es gibt nur noch Licht und Kraft, ein helles Erkennen dessen, was uranfänglich allen Wesen offensichtlich war.... Und darum kann nur die Liebe die Ausreifung der Seele zustande bringen, nur die Liebe kann dem Menschen das Licht der Erkenntnis eintragen, und nur die Liebe kann den Zusammenschluß mit Gott herbeiführen, dem Urquell von Licht und Kraft.... Und offensichtlich wird es sein, wenn dieser Zusammenschluß stattgefunden hat, wenn der Mensch sich im Licht der Erkenntnis bewegt, wenn er Aufschluß zu geben vermag und seine Weisheit nur aus sich selbst schöpft.... denn dieser gibt dann ein Zeugnis der Gegenwart Gottes, Der nun offensichtlich an und in ihm wirket....
