Every soul starts its earthly progress consciously....

Many of you are not aware of the fact that their souls started their final incarnation entirely volitionally and that the knowledge of their earthly course of life was not withheld from them before they were allowed to embody themselves. But this knowledge did not stop them since they also recognised the opportunity to thereby end an excessively long state of torment and therefore did not hesitate in starting their path across earth. That their past memory was then taken away from them had to happen to safeguard their freedom of will.... but that the human being on earth is experiencing this or that situation shall always be his proof that he had not rejected it earlier despite having been shown all his circumstances, his destined course of life, for he would not have been compelled to take this path had he not agreed to it himself.

Although no-one on earth will believe this assertion, it shall nevertheless comfort those who have to bear a difficult fate on earth; they shall know that they will be accordingly successful, that it could be their last short path of suffering which they will exchange for a carefree, glorious fate on departing from this earth, and they shall always remember that their time on earth won't last forever. Indeed, many people will fail even though they had been willing to complete this short earthly life successfully.... but no-one will lack strength either as soon as they draw this from God by establishing a connection with Him.... It is up to their free will, which is not influenced in any way, as to whether they do so or not.

The prize to be gained in earthly life is too high as to not require a certain amount of effort.... The human being, that is, his soul, cannot be granted a blissful life as a gift, he has to acquire it for himself, he has to fight for the most glorious possession, for freedom, light and strength.... he has to muster the will to be victorious himself. And he is able to do so in every walk of life, and the more difficult it is, the greater will also be his accomplished reward.

And if only you consider how much effort you are prepared to spend in earthly life in order to achieve a specific goal, which is truly not comparable to the said goal, then you know full well that it is just a matter of will as to whether you apply yourselves to this fight.... And therefore you should also muster the same determined will where far more is at stake than mere earthly success and earthly happiness.... And if you always bear in mind that you once had been willing to travel this earthly path then you will also draw strength from this certainty and always know that One is walking with you Who is at all times willing to provide you with strength, to support you, and Who will also help you overcome the most difficult situations in life.... providing you appeal to Him for help.... No human destiny is by chance, it is appropriate to his degree of maturity and good for his blissfulness. And a person will always be able to master his situation as soon as he requests strength from God.... But he will have lived his life in vain if he relies on his own strength and thereby hands himself over again into the hands of the one from whose chains he should release himself in earthly life....

Iedere ziel aanvaardt bewust haar weg over de aarde

Vele van u zijn zich er niet van bewust dat ze met geheel vrije wil hun laatste belichaming hebben aanvaard en dat hun de kennis over hun aardse levensloop niet onthouden werd, voor ze zich mochten belichamen. Maar deze kennis hield hen er niet van terug, omdat zij tegelijkertijd ook de mogelijkheid inzagen, daardoor een ontzettend lange kwellende toestand te kunnen beëindigen en ze aarzelden daarom ook niet de gang over de aarde te aanvaarden. Dat hun dan de herinnering aan deze gunst werd afgenomen, moest zo zijn wegens hun wilsvrijheid, maar dat de mens op aarde in deze of die situatie leeft, moet voor hem steeds een bewijs ervoor zijn, dat hij zich tevoren niet verzet heeft, ondanks het feit dat hem zijn hele levenssituatie - zijn door het lot bepaalde afloop - werd getoond, want hij zou niet worden gedwongen zo'n gang te gaan als hij het er zelf niet mee eens was geweest.

Weliswaar zal deze bewering op aarde geen geloof vinden, maar ze moet diegenen tot troost dienen, die een moeilijk aards lot hebben te dragen. Ze moeten weten dat ook het resultaat overeenkomstig is, dat het voor hen de laatste korte lijdensweg kan zijn die ze voor een onbezorgd heerlijk lot verwisselen bij hun heengaan van deze aarde en ze moeten er steeds aan denken dat de tijd dat ze op aarde zijn niet eeuwig duurt. Weliswaar zullen talloze mensen falen, ofschoon ze gewillig waren deze korte weg over de aarde met succes af te leggen. Maar het ontbreekt ook geen mens aan kracht zodra ze deze uit God putten, doordat ze met Hem de verbinding aangaan. Wanneer ze dat niet doen, dan is dat hun vrije wil die op geen enkele wijze wordt bepaald.

De prijs waarom het gaat in het aardse leven is te hoog, om niet ook een zekere inspanning te vergen. Het leven in gelukzaligheid kan de mens - dat wil zeggen zijn ziel - niet worden geschonken; hij moet het zich verwerven. Hij moet een strijd voeren om het heerlijkste bezit: om vrijheid, licht en kracht. En hij moet er zelf de wil toe opbrengen om de zege te behalen. En hij kan dit in elke levenssituatie doen en hoe harder deze is, des te hoger is ook de prijs waarvoor hij vecht.

En wanneer u in het aardse leven er maar over zult nadenken, welke inspanningen het u zal gaan kosten om een bepaald doel te bereiken, dat toch waarlijk niet met het ware doel is te vergelijken, dan weet u precies dat het alleen aan uw wil ligt om u voor zo'n strijd in te zetten. En dezelfde vaste wil zult u daarom ook moeten opbrengen, waar heel wat meer op het spel staat dan alleen aards succes en aards geluk. En wanneer u er steeds aan denkt dat u eens bereid geweest bent deze weg over de aarde te gaan, dan zult u uit deze zekerheid kracht putten en steeds weten dat er Een met u gaat die steeds bereid is u van kracht te voorzien, u te ondersteunen en die u helpt ook de moeilijkste levenssituaties te overwinnen, vooropgesteld dat u Hem erom vraagt. Het lot van geen mens is toevallig, het is passend bij zijn graad van rijpheid en bevorderlijk voor zijn gelukzaligheid. En de mens zal ook steeds meester over zijn situatie worden, zodra hij om kracht vraagt bij God. Maar zijn leven zal tevergeefs geleefd zijn wanneer hij zich op zijn eigen kracht verlaat en zich daardoor weer in de handen van diegene overgeeft, uit wiens boeien hij in het aardse leven moet vrijkomen.
