Why is our past memory taken from us....

If you humans looked at your earthly life as a final chapter of an infinitely long process of development, you would eagerly cover this last short stretch and spare no effort during this brief lifetime on earth to bring your higher development to a successful conclusion. But since you lack the memory of your past life, since you only know for certain about this short life on earth, you do not generate any particular enthusiasm, in fact, you are rather indifferent to what is yet to come, you spend little thought on what awaits you after your earthly life. But you have to go through life without past memory so as not to be influenced in your will, thoughts and actions. If, however, you were able to take just a small glimpse into your past life you would be horrified and unable to continue living.... or, driven by extreme fear, you would do whatever is demanded of you only to avoid this appalling fate and be liberated from every physical form.

Thus, I would indeed have the power to prompt you into a way of life which corresponds to My will if I allowed you to take this retrospect. But My love for you is great and wants to prepare unlimited happiness for you which, however, excludes all coercion of will.... In order to be eternally, blissfully happy you have to live completely voluntarily in accordance with My will, i.e. in accordance with eternal order.... You should realise that it is an act of mercy and a labour of love on My part that I removed your past memory.... partly to spare you the knowledge of a surmounted earthly life, and partly to enable you to reach unlimited beatitude.... But I do not leave you without knowledge, even if this knowledge is not verifiable. Thus you will know of your previous state but it does not burden you unduly because you have overcome it. Yet the knowledge could encourage you to increased spiritual endeavour which, nevertheless, proceeds in total freedom of will and therefore results in utmost blessing for you....

And therefore I can only ever tell you: don't reject anything but take everything into consideration that informs you about the purpose and goal of your earthly life, and also take the information of your past embodiment into consideration. Think about it, and always live your earthly life such that you can justify it to yourselves and need not fear accountability before Me either. But believe that your earthly life is not pointless and that it has a different purpose than the mere preservation and satisfaction of your body, which is transient and whose lifespan you cannot determine yourselves. And if you are unwilling to accept additional information, if you don't want to accept what is 'not provable' then at least hold fast to the 'Word of God', for as soon as you listen to it with faithful sincerity it will also kindle a small light in you, and much will turn out to be comprehensible and believable to you which cannot be proven to you either. Just try to establish contact with the spiritual kingdom in some form or other, be it in thought or through your will for your Creator, or through labours of love, which are an absolutely certain bond with Me....

And you will discover secrets which will unveil themselves to you in order to help you travel the last short path of your development successfully.... But don't just live indifferently, don't just let your corporal wishes dominate your every thought, for I created much around you which could stimulate you to think.... You are surrounded by all kinds of miracles which are the products of My love and My might, which should give you evidence of Me.... And then try to establish the relationship with the One Who reveals Himself to you in creation.... Then you will be saved from the appalling fate of having to go through all these creations again. And you will be liberated from the form and able to enter the blissful kingdom of spirits, where you will live in freedom and light, in beatitude....

Waarom is de mensen de herinnering aan vroeger weggenomen ?

Als u, mensen, tegen uw aardse leven zouden aankijken als laatste periode van een eindeloos durend ontwikkelingsproces, dan zou u ook met grote ijver dit laatste korte stuk afleggen. U zou geen moeite schuwen om uw ontwikkeling omhoog in deze korte tijd van uw aardse leven, tot een succesvol einde te brengen. Omdat u echter de herinnering mist, daar u alleen iets over deze korte levensweg op aarde weet, brengt u ook geen bijzondere ijver op. U bent integendeel onverschillig tegenover wat voor u ligt; u denkt niet veel na over wat u te wachten staat na dit aardse leven. Toch moet u zonder deze herinnering aan vroeger door het leven gaan om uw willen, denken en handelen niet te laten bepalen. Maar zou u even kunnen terugblikken, dan zou u door ontzetting niet meer tot leven in staat zijn, of u zou, door grote vrees gedreven,alles doen wat van u verlangd wordt om maar dat verschrikkelijke lot te ontgaan - en vrij te worden uit elke materiële vorm.

IK zou dus wel de macht hebben u tot een levenswandel aan te sporen die voldoet aan Mijn Wil - zodra IK u een kijkje zou laten nemen in het verleden. Mijn Liefde tot u is echter groter en ze wil u een onbeperkt geluk bereiden, wat echter een dwingen van de wil uitschakelt. Om onbegrensd zalig te kunnen zijn moet u in volle wilsvrijheid zo leven, zoals het met Mijn Wil, d.w.z. met Mijn eeuwige orde overeenkomt.

U moet inzien dat het een werk van erbarming en van Liefde Mijnerzijds is, dat IK de herinnering aan het verleden van u heb weggenomen. Enerzijds om u de kennis van een overwonnen leven op aarde te besparen, anderzijds - om u de toegang tot een zaligheid mogelijk te maken die onbegrensd is. Maar zonder kennis laat IK u niet, al is zulk een kennis onbewijsbaar. U verneemt dus iets over uw vorige toestand, maar hij bezwaart u niet abnormaal - want u hebt hem overwonnen.

De kennis ervan zou u ook tot een groter geestelijk streven kunnen aansporen, dat dan echter altijd in volledige vrijheid van wil verloopt en u dan ook zegen oplevert. Zodoende kan IK u steeds maar aanraden: wijs niets af maar neem alles in overweging wat u over de zin en het doel van uw aardse bestaan voorgelegd wordt. En betrek bij uw beschouwing ook die kennis, die u over de voorafgaande toestand van uw belichaming onderricht. Overweeg het en leef uw aardse leven zo dat u het voor uzelf kunt verantwoorden, dan hoeft u ook geen verantwoording tegenover MIJ te vrezen. Geloof dat uw aards bestaan niet zinloos is en een ander doel heeft dan slechts het onderhouden en bevredigen van het lichaam, dat vergankelijk is, en waarvan u de levensduur zelf niet bepalen kunt.

En als u niet bereid bent andere onderrichtingen te ontvangen, wanneer u het onbewijsbare niet wilt aanvaarden, houd u dan tenminste aan GOD's Woord, want zodra u dit met gelovige ernst beluistert kan het ook een klein lichtje in u ontsteken - en veel zal u dan duidelijk worden en geloofwaardig voorkomen wat u inderdaad niet bewezen kan worden.

Zoek slechts een manier om de verbinding met het geestelijke rijk tot stand te brengen, zij het in uw gedachten of door uw wil die u de Schepper toezendt, of door werken van liefde die een echt zekere verbinding met MIJ zijn. U zult dan ook achter geheimen komen die zichzelf voor u ontsluieren, opdat u dan geholpen wordt de laatste korte weg van ontwikkeling met goed gevolg af te leggen. Maar ga niet geheel onverschillig zo door en laat niet alleen uw lichamelijke wensen uw gehele denken beheersen, want IK heb veel voor u geschapen wat u tot nadenken zou kunnen aansporen.

U bent door wonderen van allerlei aard omgeven die werken zijn van Mijn Liefde en Macht, en die u ook MIJZelf moeten aantonen. Zoek de verbinding met MIJ tot stand te brengen, met MIJ DIE ZICHZelf in de schepping aan u openbaart, dan zult u ook gespaard blijven voor het ontzettende lot - zelf weer door deze scheppingen te moeten gaan. U zult dan vrij worden van uw uiterlijke vorm en kunnen ingaan in dat zalige rijk van de geesten, waar u zult leven in vrijheid, licht en kracht - en in eeuwige zaligheid.
