Everything has meaning and purpose.... Pests.... Weeds....

Nothing in creation exists without purpose and goal.... But you cannot always recognise the purpose of a work of creation and often ask yourselves why one thing or another has been created, since, as far as you understand, it does not appear to serve any purpose. However, the very explanation should be sufficient for you that everything is ‘God’s emanated strength’ which one day should become active again, but that the effectiveness of this ‘strength’ varies considerably because its distance from God also varies considerably. And ‘distance’ is comparable to ‘opposition’....

Thus there is spiritual essence.... God’s once emanated strength.... whose opposition, in spite of a very lengthy process of development in the law of compulsion, has barely diminished. However, it continues its process of development in accordance with divine order and therefore constantly adopts new external shapes which allow for a gradual increase of activity, but again, this activity corresponds to the resistance of the spirit. Consequently it performs no obvious service for people or other works of creation but it nevertheless serves indirectly.... You will understand this when you think of the pests in the animal and plant kingdom, of all the vermin or poisonous plants.... just everything you think is useless or harmful in the creation of nature.... But all these organisms are carriers of divine strength which will also give the spiritual substances therein some opportunity for purification.... And at the same time these inconspicuous works of creation serve to sustain other creations again.... partly as food for larger living organisms, partly as fertilizer to nourish the plant world’s soil, although you humans cannot observe such interactions.... And again, they can serve the human being’s spiritual development which also requires many tests for a person to prove himself, be it in all manner of trials for patience or in a sensible attitude towards everything brought into existence by God’s will.

Nothing exists without meaning and purpose; whether the human being recognises the meaning and purpose of every creation is not significant but his faith in God’s wisdom, love and power should give him a certain amount of reverence for everything that has been created or he will doubt God’s wisdom, love and power. All material forms serve as a great mercy for God’s once emanated flow of strength.... for the dissolved substances of the original spirits.... because they were seized by God’s love and thus placed into an external form.... And although the various external forms demonstrate their opposition to God.... God has nevertheless seized the spirit in order to guide it to its gradual ascent in the law of compulsion. That itself should teach you humans to view every work of creation with spiritual eyes, and you should bear in mind that God truly knows many things which are still hidden from you humans, hence you should not judge prematurely by criticising God’s creations, which you are really not entitled to do. Because once you believe that creation is God’s work, every work of creation has to be beyond doubt to you as well. And then you will learn to behold with loving eyes that which aroused aversion and dislike in you until now.... which is not to say that you should help it contrary to its natural function.

For as soon as it proves to be damaging you may proceed against it and end its process of development, because it is God’s will that these creations do not have a long lifespan. Hence you are entitled to shorten their lifespan, so that the spiritual substances can achieve a certain level of maturity in ever new external forms and be permitted to fulfil serving functions as soon as their former opposition has lessened, as soon as the spirit essence has been sufficiently calmed to be of willing service and thus continues its gradual ascent. And you humans should know that even you yourselves, i.e. your soul, hides such substances within itself which have had to cover the abovementioned path.... For everything your eyes are able to see is within you.... But God’s love, wisdom and power knows how to guide everything into the right order for He only pursues one goal which He will surely achieve one day....

Geen scheppingswerk is doelloos en zonder betekenis

Niets wat er in de schepping bestaat is zonder doel of betekenis, maar niet altijd kunt u het juiste doel van een scheppingswerk begrijpen. U vraagt uzelf vaak af waartoe het een of ander geschapen is, omdat het volgens uw bevattingsvermogen nergens toe schijnt te dienen. Maar reeds deze ene verklaring moest voor u al toereikend zijn, dat alles wat bestaat "kracht is uit GOD" die eens weer tot werkzaamheid moet komen. Dat deze kracht echter geheel verschillend is naar haar werkzaamheid, omdat ze zich op geheel verschillende afstanden van GOD kan bevinden. En "afstand" is gelijk te stellen met weerspannigheid.

Zodoende is er geestelijke substantie door van GOD uitgestraalde kracht die ondanks de reeds zeer lange weg van ontwikkeling in de "je moet toestand", zijn weerstand maar heel weinig verminderd heeft. Die echter toch volgens de goddelijke ordening de weg van ontwikkeling voortzet, en dus steeds nieuwe uiterlijke vormen betrekt wat een langzaam actief worden toelaat. Maar deze activiteit stemt ook weer overeen met de weerstand van het geestelijke. Het verricht dus geen duidelijke dienst aan de mens of aan andere scheppingswerken, maar dient toch indirect.

Het zal voor u meer begrijpelijk worden als u denkt aan de schadelijke soorten uit het dieren- en plantenrijk, aan ongedierte en aan giftige planten - juist aan datgene wat u als doelloos en schadelijk in de schepping van de natuur beschouwt. Maar al deze produkten zijn "dragers van goddelijke kracht", die de in hun ingesloten geestelijke substanties een beperkte mogelijkheid geven tot loutering. En tegelijkertijd dienen deze nietige scheppingswerken weer andere scheppingen tot behoud, deels als voeding voor grotere levende wezens, deels als bemesting van de voedingsbodem der plantenwereld, hoewel u mensen zulk een uitwisseling dikwijls niet kunt waarnemen. Maar ook voor de mens zelf kunnen ze voor zijn geestelijke ontwikkeling,die vaak beproevingen vraagt, dienstig zijn. Wanneer de mens door geduldsproeven van allerlei aard bewijzen moet of hij de juiste instelling heeft tot alles, wat GOD door Zijn Wil heeft laten ontstaan.

Er bestaat dus niets wat zonder doel of betekenis is, of echter de mens de betekenis en het doel van elk werk inziet is niet beslissend. Maar zijn geloof in GOD's Liefde, Wijsheid en Macht moet hem een zekere eerbied geven tegenover al het door GOD geschapene, daar hij anders aan de Liefde, Wijsheid en Macht van GOD twijfelt.

Voor de van GOD eens uitgegane "krachtstroom", d.w.z voor de opgeloste substanties van de oergeschapen geesten, is elk stoffelijk omhulsel een grote genade - want zij werden omvat door GOD's Liefde en zodoende in een uiterlijke vorm geplaatst. En al verraden verschillende vormen de weerspannigheid tegen GOD, zo heeft desondanks GOD toch dat geestelijke omvat om het langzaam in een "je moet toestand" omhoog te voeren. Hierdoor alleen al moet u, mensen elk scheppingswerk met geestelijke ogen leren bezien. U moet daaraan denken dat GOD waarlijk van alles weet wat voor u mensen nog verborgen is. Dat u dus niet voortijdig mag oordelen, omdat u dan op de scheppingen van GOD kritiek uitoefent waartoe u waarlijk geen recht hebt.

Want zodra u gelooft dat de schepping GOD's werk is, moet voor u ook elk scheppingswerk boven twijfel verheven zijn. En u zult dan ook leren dat met liefhebbende ogen te beschouwen, wat u tot nog toe afkeer en antipathie inboezemde. Wat echter niet betekent dat u het geschapene tegen zijn bestemming mag begunstigen, want zodra het duidelijk schade aanricht mag u ook daar tegen ingaan en de ontwikkelingsweg beëindigen. Want ook dat is volgens de wil van GOD, dat deze scheppingen geen lange levensduur hebben en dat u het recht hebt die levensduur te verkorten, opdat de geestelijke substanties zich door steeds nieuwe uiterlijke vormen een zekere rijpheid kunnen verwerven. Want dan kunnen ze tot dienende functie's toegelaten worden zodra de voormalige weerstand afneemt, zodra het geestelijke zo ver gekalmeerd is dat het bereidwillig dienen wil en daardoor langzaam opwaarts stijgt.

U, mensen moet weten dat ook uzelf, d.w.z. uw ziel zulke substanties in zich bergt die deze voorgenoemde weg moesten afleggen. Want u hebt alles in uzelf wat uw ogen in staat zijn te zien. Maar GOD's Liefde, Wijsheid en Macht weet alles in de juiste orde te leiden, want HIJ beoogt alleen een doel dat HIJ ook eens zal bereiken.
